Lg v20 vs995 Camera apk needed - LG V20 Questions & Answers

So as before, with my v20 ls997 I had posted about a camera app, the guy emailed me the apk for it but I don't have the email anymore, if someone has the original LG apk that can be installed directly that would be amazing!
I can't flash via custom recovery, when I installed a rooted Oreo rom it got rid of my recovery and wipes when I enter it, so preferably the apk only.. Thanks! :fingers-crossed:

Here is the stock camera APK from my US996 on Oreo:

And be careful if you choose to keep going without having TWRP installed. If anything goes wrong, you'll likely have to start from scratch again.

revert to stock

I was trying to root my v20 and its not working correctly and would like to start from scratch. i seen some stock tmobile v20 tots. It says something that you cant flash them. Is that correct? no way to return to stock? using the tots
Right now there is no way to flash a tot. We are missing the V20 specific dll file for the flash tool called LGUP.
Do you know anyway to remove all the root files, exploit stuff so I can restart the process
What part did you get stuck on?
Somehow during the last part where recovery is installed. Then the no encryption and installing supersu. I got twrp installed. But I flash both the no encryption and special su and root does not take. It says along the lines using to installer too can't reinstall the exploit or something like that
Idk if this helps but I thought the same thing until I installed nova. For some reason the LG launcher did not show supersu
Hope it helps
Have you tried running the commands manually in ADB?
No I haven't yet. Would restoring the LG recovery help?
I tried manual adb command it just says waiting for device

Moto G4 Plus Bricked After Magisk

I've spent the past few days trying to install the new Nougat update on my phone, and I finally managed to do it. I heard Magisk works for Nougat so I decided to use it as my root so i could back up my partitions and whatnot for the next update. I download the Magisk installer using the app, use fastboot to boot into TWRP, and flash the installer. All seemingly goes well, but when I reboot, nothing happens. I can access bootloader, I can access the stock recovery that's still loaded, but it will not start up, and any attempt to start it while the phone is plugged in leaves it in a black screen with the LED next to the fingerprint sensor consistently flashing. I'm no expert, but this doesn't seem good. Is it bricked? Is there an easy fix? So far I've tried using the recovery to wipe the cache and used TWRP to do a full factory reset, neither of which did anything. My Moto G4 Plus is an XT1644, and my model number was mpj24.139-64, which I'd assume means it is now npj24.139-64, but I have no way to check.
I feel like my best bet here is for someone else to extract their system, logo, boot, and all those partitions and I can just flash those in, but I honestly have no idea. This is my only phone by the way, so help would be muchly appreciated.
You need a custom Kernel first thing after re-flashing the stock, recommend ElementalX. Only after that you can root (I prefer the latest beta SuperSU, in systemless mode).
The stock Nougat is locked up pretty good.
Solved
No worries, managed to safely flash the stock rom I had for the previous version and re-update. Seems to work fine now.

can no longer get root

so i have the us996 variant of the lg v20 and i just flashed the desolation rom, everything seems fine except when i try to use titanium backup it tells me i dont have toot now. I mean how can i flash roms if i dont have root? any help would be appreciated.
Try flashing the appropriate superSU zip file for your device.

I am not a smart man (Attempting to swap supersu for magisk and things went downhill)

LGV20 US996 (Unlocked NOT US cell) and i was rooted (Stock rom, i did not download a custom rom)
So i wanted to switch from supersu to magisk, seeing the top comment in this gave me confidence and made me believe it was easy, so much confidence that i didn't create a backup in twrp (I AM NOT SMART). So i went and uninstalled supersu by selecting the option "Switch to another superuser app" in the supersu manager. I then went into twrp, flashed magisk16 and cleared dalvik and cache before i made my way to my home screen to install the manager and the manager said i was not rooted. i've done a few other things like flashing a boot.img and magisk16. I also later tried flashing magisk14 as someone said 16 didn't play nice with their V20 but long story short i still can get into TWRP but i can not make it to the home screen, i would love and appreciate some help with this in either finishing swapping magisk out or (What i wouldn't prefer) restoring the phone to stock and losing root. Right now if i try to boot the phone it just bootloops between the first LG logo and the "Warning, your device software cannot be checked for corruption....etc"
So for anybody who tries to help, i am grateful and thank you for your help, i'm sorry i was stupid and made some bad decisions which makes this whole problem worse.

Hey, thank you all for your help, i finally got it to work by formatting my data and wiping it clean, flashing US99610p.zip and then booting, going back into twrp and flashing Magisk V14
congrats

Problems with bootlooping after installing TWRP on lg g2 d802

So i've tried rooting and installing root+TWRP over a script on my lg g2 d802 which sent the phone into a boot loop. Then i downloaded a Stock ROM (i didn't find mine so i just chose one from my country) and flashed it on the phone. I then rooted it with some script i found on youtube IOroot, which worked and and proceeded to install TWRP over AutoRec, which worked aswell BUT i was not able to get back into the system because of the phone boot looping again. I was able to go back to TWRP but not into the system itself. So i just reflashed the phone again.
Does anyone know what my mistake is here? I am pretty new to this. Could it be that because i have a different Stock ROM it doesn't work? Tbh, I don't know if i will destroy it by installing a american Stock ROM on a german phone. I've read a lot of tutorials but many are down and most of them lead to AutoRec or this Auto Script from here.
EDIT: Ok, nevermind. I installed some Stock Lollipop ROM and with that everything was pretty easy. Installed LineageOs 15.1, works great.
