Hi everyone !
I've been browsing the web for the last 4 month to solve my issues with this Andream Head Unit on Android 8.1.

And I didn't find anything that could help me, so here is my two problems:
First one,
When I use the Z-Link app with the integrated Apple CarPlay solution, it may freeze sometimes and I have to wait until the application unfreeze.
It may happen when I drive with Waze or when I'm on the track screen. So basically, when something is moving on the screen.
I've asked for an update of this app but it seems that the guy at Andream wait till I forget the problem to answer me...
I thought it was a heat issue, but I've put a fan and a few heat sink on the cpu, now he stay between 40 and 70 degree Celsius.
Second One,
The steering wheel control doesn't work at all. I've got an Audi TT mk2 2010, and when I purchased the Head Unit, the guy sent me a BMW can bus decoder. Then after I tell him that I have an Audi, he sent me an Audi can bus decoder. So I manage the cable to have the Audi decoder working because it wasn't the same pins connector. Now, the head unit detect when I light on the car headlight, but when I go to the steering wheel control app, I can't register more than one control and when I test it, nothing happen...
So I'm wondering if I'll purchase or not the new Sony XAV-AX100. But I just wanted this thing to work ! :crying:
I hope you could bring me some help ! Best regards !

Either it is a head unit Systems setting, or it is in your Settings -> User -> Locales (or regional settings or whatever it is called)
Hy fellows
I'm wonder if anyone had experience with this type of unit ?
Bought in Aliexpress from Yulbro multimedia store, but I think that the unit is powered by Joying MCU
Is it possible to improve the unit ?, I have problems pairing bluetooth OBD2
Thanks for any help you can provide

Ok foud the solution to enable bluetooth devices recognition and allow pairing any OBDII bluetooth adapter or even any other bluetooth device (other than smarphones)
Copy that two files in a FAT32 formatted usb key as follows:
copy config.txt as config.txt (same name)
copy lsec6315update.bin as lsec6315update (remove '.bin' extension)
Plug the key into headunit usb port, it will recognize firmware update (message appears on screen)
Update and then follow onscreen instructions
The headunit will ask you to remove the usb key after update, and will reboot automatically
After that you can install any bluetooth app from playstore to gain acces to bluetooth functions and pair whatever (bluetooth device) you want
The solution is given in a russian forum
Found that unit is produced by https://www.zwnav.net/

Reseller, not produced by zwnav. They all make out that they manufacture, but the reality is they're all OEM like.
Could be another FYT unit with HYI variant firmware.
Yes you're right indeed
Hello, maybe there is some mod for this resolution?
Hello, I hope this is a good place for the topic I am opening. To get started, I need your advice on how to set up my new T5 head unit properly.
I bought this device online and according to the specification it should have 4 GB / 32 GB of memory. It turned out that the device was modified to show that it has 4 GB but actually only 2 GB and instead of Android 11 the device is actually Android 10. Quite a common scam committed by sellers from China. To cut a long story short, after a dispute with the seller, half of the amount was returned to me. My car is a Fiat 500x and originally the device was set up to use the CANBUS protocol for the FAIT Doblo car. There was no FIAT 500x on the list. Some car settings were not available to me with this FIAT / Doblo protocol so I found it to be a much better option if I use the JEEP - Renegade CANBUS protocol. With this new protocol, some previously disabled car adjustment options are now enabled for me, but I still miss seeing basic data on fuel consumption, mileage, etc ... The Air conditioning settings do NOT work either with this JEEP protocol.
Did any of you have experience with setting up a Fiat 500x car and do you know how to update the device so that in the end I have the original FAIT protocol for 500x.
Thank you all in advance.

Good afternoon everyone,
I just recently purchased an Eonon GA2189S Head Unit.
Build number: full_825x_Pro-Octa PPR1.180610.011.eng.root.20200426.093427 userdebug
Custom Build Version: android-trunk-p0.825X_Pro
First problem: One of the main reasons I bought this head unit was to use Torque to monitor engine vitals in my 2009 Infiniti G37 Coupe. The unit comes with a preinstalled version of Torque OBD, but when I try to download themes I am met with the following error (I will attach screenshot). It does not matter what type of Wifi I am connected to, whether its the strong signal from my home or the hotspot on my iphone.
When I emailed Eonon, they said their "Engineer" said its "not compatible with their head unit" and that they are "sorry". I sent an email to Torque customer service to no avail.
I'm really not happy, as I have had it running on my Android Phones for the last 2 years with absolutely no issue. But this unit doesn't even have a reboot button! I need a paperclip to reboot the system.
Does anyone have any experience with this android build, and im looking for info on what modifications I can make to the OS. I want my Torque themes to work and I do not want to be limited!
Please advise with any suggestions or tips - thank you all so much!
