Joying 135N2 won't use external mic!!! Only internal :(

Hi guys,
Can't seem to find a solution to this but my HU seems to only use the internal mic on the front of the HU and not the 3.5mm one I have attached to the mic plug at the back.
Tried to wipe the unit entirely and reinstall latest 7th July firmware and also tried 2 different mics.
Is there a reason the audio is only being rooted from the mic at the front?? The first time I installed Viper4Android the other day ... could this have caused a problem??
Having completely wiped the unit I can't see how I'd still have this problem when it worked before

Joying are a seller only, they buy from manufacturers, attach a "Joying" badge and sell them on, so there are no "Joying" units.
To find out what unit you have go to settings/about device, the entry in the MCU field will tell you what unit you have, post a pic or tell us what it says, then we can identify your unit.

have you tried to check the connector on the motherboard ?

I have checked and unfortunately the connector is fine but it still refuses to use and plugged in external mic. With the bluetooth issues and this it might be time to give up and buy a head unit from a decent manufacturer!

I'm having this same problem. I checked the connector inside and it seems fine as well. 6021 motherboard, Android 6. Absolutely NO audio not even static coming in from external mic and when I use the external mic nothing comes in from the internal mic.

I cannot connect usb devices like Carlinkit (Apple CarPlay) or Dab+ module.
SD cards and USB flash memory works fine.

I downloaded a “usb host controller” in play market to see if the devices was visible, and they are. See picture
Yesterday After I rooted it, I had connected the Carlinket usb dongle (Apple CarPlay), nothing happened, but SuperSU asked me to update, so I did, and after a reboot the CarPlay worked for a minute, and the head unit system crashed, and system rebooted and usb devices still not working.
So what I think is that, the USB ports works, but it seems to there are something blocking when it’s starts up, and I do not know why?
Do I miss some drivers?
Are it due to license restrictions? Can I bypass them if so?
Android version now is 5.1.1

Hi! I'm sorry I'm not able to help with your USB devices not being recognised....but can you tell me how you rooted your device? Mine is similar (not quite the same) but I'm hoping your method works, as nothing I have found works so far.

The head unit worked perfectly for rear sensor but …. i tried to disable it with car button and now it is lock to off … I tried to put the factory radio but still lock, i also tried bsi reset :/ any idea ?

sp9853i TLink CarPlay Help

Just installed a new Mekede M400 4GB+64GB head unit and it comes with a TLink app (screenshot attached). CarPlay works intermittently over Wireless, but I really would like it to work wired (both for speed and for consistancy). As you can see in the screenshot, it says MODE: "Wireless-CarPlay".
Can anyone guide me on how to get wired CarPlay working, with this or any other app?

I found out some updated APKs in the 4pda forum, I'm sharing here if someone else needs it.
Beware this is for dingwei vendor, if you have another vendor and install this one you will get a mismatch channel error.

Is there any way of getting TLINK to stay on/open? Like if I use TLINK for applecarplay and then turn my car off and then back on again it just goes back to the normal android screen.

I recently installed my Android car radio for my Mégane 3 2009 with an original Carminat TomTom.
I chose this model, being similar to the tutorial on the forum https://cutt.ly/A2ElSIb
However, having made all the connections correctly, on the TomTom version, it is recommended to connect to the cable connected to the 1714 computer that must be disconnected, is this correct? Everything works except the steering wheel controls...

Also, when I install apps like Waze, it starts and closes immediately... (crash when starting the app)
I also have a problem the car radio doesn't seem to turn off when the car is off and locked, sometimes the screen turns on by itself, and it drains my battery...
I even think it turns off and for some reason it turns on by itself after a while...
I don't really know what to do anymore. I count on your help!
