I'm using the system with phones Android Auto and it's working great.
The problem is that I use the phone in dark mode, and every time I connect the phone and use android auto on the A-IVI system, when I disconnect it or during being connected, the settings and the menus are changed to light-white. And while I see the menus in light-white background, when I get in the menu to change to dark mode, dark mode is selected but the display is white.
So I have to select dark mode again and do all the changes I want to the clock, the tone, the fingerprint etc. from the start. And this is happening every time...
Anyone has a solution for this?

Just bouch myself an AvinUSA player for my BMW.
But one of the function is a pain in the %&ยค. The function is that it dims the screen when lights are turned on.
Witch is useless, live in Nothern Norway, where there is sun 24/7 at summer. But we must have headlights
turned on at all time by law.
Ive Rooted the device and looked at pretty much all files there is, but cant find the file where i can dissable the
unit from "sensing" my turning on/off lights on the car.
The Android screen light is locket at 100%, so its the cars system who is adjust the lights outside the
Android system.
So my question is, HOW can i locate the file or make the unit NOT adjust the screen dimming when my lights are on.
All help is welcome!
Send them an email. I've heard they respond well to questions. I'm planning on buying one and i'm gonna have this problem as well (i don't live in Norway but I need my lights on all the time, even coded them to be on, on auto setting)

Unfortunately, there is no setting to disable that.

So i need to do this on my own. iknow its the "interface app" who is overriding the Android brightness. so its some codes in that
where i need to remove the dimming function. But cant fint it :/
hi had the same problem.
u need to go to settings then factory settings. it will ask you for a passcode. its 1314. then under arm settings on your left hand side scroll all the way at the bottom. u will see a setting option that say "whether the backlight is controlled by the original car light" its set to default "controlled" change it to 'uncontrolled"

Weird issue when I connect my note 9 to my Dasaita Max10 w Andriod 10 it has a moon symbol on top of screen in the Android Auto main menu but maps still runs with daytime mode.
I unplug cord open maps and switch to night mode on the phone re plug in and voila night mode.
Setting maps to Automatically switch does not seem to work is this a glitch in Andriod Auto?
If anyone has a solution I would be grateful ?

i have a ts10 unit (128 gb/6gb ram) i am pretty happy with that. I'm tryng to obtain an automatic function to switch to dark theme ALL the car radio when i turn on the headlight. The screen just go darker automatically when headlight on but it doesn't switch to dark theme. I tried some app on play store to force dark theme on sunset/dawn but no luck with that it won't work. Any help?

recently installed an android unit 8.8 with os 11 and snapdragon 662, quite happy with the performance, but when I use android auto wireless with the related app ZLINK5, i got a black screen, i have a normal screen when only I switch the zlink settings from high definition to normal definition.
I tried to uninstall of the app and reinstall, the same black screen when it is selected to high definition setting only
any ideas?
What did the reseller suggest
well I haven't mentioned the issue to the reseller yet, as it looks clear a software issue, it connects at the high definition setting when initially selected, but when you shut the engine and restart the device sometimes you got a black screen.

Do you also the problem with zlink5, that the audio gets muted after you received a notification or google maps speech although the music is still playing?

How can I fix this problem?
