I used the oxygen updater app from google play to install it. EDIT soft bricked don't use it.
When will the notification of the update arrive, to install it I have to follow a particular procedure or can I install it as the previous updates simply giving the ok?
I went from the global stable to this and now my phone is bricked, it won't boot just says "build version and hw version is not match". I have a T-Mobile OP6T that was flashed to the global stable version.

The link posted on a few pages back is not meant for carrier phones like yours that's why it's soft bricked. It is meant for unlocked non carrier OnePlus 6/6T phones. Sorry that happened to you.
I tried to flash the zip from the Oxygen Updater , and it doesn't fit.
ERROR : 7
So, let's wait for OTA/ OnePlus will release ZIP

Installed it through Oxygen Updater and everything is working except WiFi on my 6T. Factory Reset does NOT help - I tried it ^^
The t-mobile softbrick is being pretty stubborn. There's no fastboot, so I am trying to use the MsmDownloadTool. Unfortunately it is failing to flash for me. I'm getting error "FirehoseReadData Failed, Errno: 31". I get the same error on both the patched 6T_MsmDownloadTool_v4.0.58_OOS_v9.0.11 and on "fajitat_34_O.13_190725_repack".
Looks like this brick will be more difficult to overcome than expected.

Not sure if you know about it, but your phone is basically showpiece from showrooms or shops, that's the X in your version number. This kind of phones are not intended to be sold for customers.
You will never got more updates as you already have, so your only option is to flash it manually.
Bootloop problem is not dependant on software version. It doesn't matter if you have 5.1 or 6.0.

Do you have an accurate source to backup your wild claims?
My EU (UK) H815 v20d-EUR-XX is currently downloading the update.
No need for a manual flash and my device certainly was not a store demo model.
Hello,
My G4 is unlocked and ROOTED and the update is available and in downloading atm.
There are something I should to know about the fact that my smartphone ROOTED evening before applying the update?
Could this affect my G4?
Thank you! =D

Sure,
We are not talking about the same thing.
Look again, and maybe twice at his version number: It's is VX10c-EUR-XX
I'm not talking about XX, but about the first "X"... see?
Sure, your device is the same as mine v20d-EUR-XX which is a retail model, but this is not the case for VX10C-EUR-XX which is unfortunately a demo model
Ok, finally, it seems that I can't update automatically with a G4 ROOTED.

Off you can't. You have another recovery. Use LG UP and flash it. Easier can't be. Note you will lose root and the recovery.

Go to thread about the Portugal update and download the KDZ from there. Any link from that thread is the international H815 update. Don't worry about countries and shenanigans is the same firmware for all. V20g-EUR-XX. Install LG UP on your PC. First the DLL then the program. Place the KDZ in your LG UP install directory (Crogram Files (x86)/LG Electronics/LGUP/model/8994). Put your phone in download mode. (With phone turned off press Volume UP and with it press plug in the USB cable). Click refurbished option for a complete wipe and clean flash. Before all this make a backup. You can also select upgrade option to avoid wipe but I always recommend a clean flash. Read the according threads in XDA for further information if you need.
It seems the h818p will not be updated(yet)?
@src151 thanks for the info. I didn't knew that demo phones can have the GSM module. At least I got it at a very good price
I will upgrade manually then.
Saw many post from new users and senior members as well and most of the time there are lot of confusion on the OTA part, especially for the rooted phone. Few says it gets (I am one of them) and few says it doesn’t as rooting capabilities modifies the system boot.img and also we have unlocked bootloader so device wont get the OTAs. I have been using the Huawei/Honor phones for 2 years now and have been getting all the OTAs on rooted phone and confirmed the same many time but still there are lot of confusion and users thinks they wont get OTA on rooted phone.
Just confirming here that you will receive OTAs on rooted phone without any issues. This is 2nd update on my phone since rooted in past 2 months.

Note- I am not using any firmware finder or other things for this as I dont trust on FF as it messed my Honor 5C in February and I given up on it.
Instructions-
If you are rooted but then rolled back to stock recovery, just download the OTA and update.
If you are rooted with TWRP recovery, flash the stock recovery first and then download the OTA to update. (TWRP wont be able to update OTA)

It will remain intact. No data loss. Well Chris, i can confirm on the OTA part but you never know the unforeseen consequences. I mean can run into trouble sometimes as Huawei/Honor phones are prone to brick in seconds. I would say to not update in such scenarios.

Reflash your OOS ROM with 'local update' feature, like if it was a regular ROM update.
It will restore all those partitions needed for language and emji's
Best to do that than flash an .img file found on the net
Use the Man download tool, just read instructions and you'll be fine, worked for me several times. It's in the Guides forum.

Good evening to all xda communities, I have always had deep esteem for you, for what is published here, and I didn't think that one day I too would have written something here but hey, here I am. Two days ago I installed the Pixel Experience (very nice rom, very fluid and stable) but today I wanted to put the stock rom (xiaomi redmi note 7) on my device. Only I can't understand how to do it, there is some good soul who could explain to me step by step what I should do. I pay coffee to anyone who wants to help me, I'm still a good samaritan. Thanks.
When I want to back to the stock rom, I do this with miflash. Download miflash, download the latest fastboot rom (it's a tgz file, you must decompress it in your desktop in a apart folder). Connect your device in fastboot mode. With miflash search the ROM and press en clean and lock bootloader, or only clean. This process always works for me.

You can download the fastboot ROM in Mifirm (sorry xba doesn't allow me post links).
I always do it with miflash because I like to have the device as it were new. This is why I lock the bootloader. This installation is cleaner than the recovery one.
By the way you can download the recovery version and flash it by recovery as if it were a custom and don't lock the bootloader. I have never done it in this way.

If you installed pixel experience before, you must have the drivers, don't click in install, ignore it. Click in refresh and when miflash recognize your device, click in flash.

Nice! Which boot.img did you use? Could you post it?
I first put this IMG into magisk to patch. Boot the patched one into the system disk via fastboot.

It's the same way for all device without custom recovery. I come from OnePlus 8T, Mi 11 and all this device using this method or by sideloading apk from recovery (but not available
Enjoy your Nothing Rooted !

GSI is not recommanded, above all on a new device without a knowed tools for Unbrik / Reset default rom/settings if you encounter problem.
I advise to you just waiting, time to know when / how this device can be brick/unbrick, if it's free (Like Odin for Samsung or MSM for old OnePlus [from OP 10 it's now paid lol !) or paid (like EDL mode Xiaomi)
Somebody needs to make a tool in order to shrink the comically large status bar and remove the ugly google search bar on home screen

It's premature to say whether this is possible or not, as the Phone(1) was released only 5 days ago.
But knowing Carl, I think that everything will be allowed on this smartphone so that it can be used by many people.
It will be necessary to wait a little before having a personalized recovery and thus being able to develop around the Phone(1).

No. Even in old OnePlus unlock bootloader don't void warranty.
Only desimlock a device is not legal/void warranty on a lot country.
Also SAMSUNG devices have warranty void when Knox is 0x1 (Root once, never retrieve 0x0 even after relock/install untouched/genuine rom)
