i was trying to update it while keeping my root but i did something stupid i rebooted the device before it finishs, so it happened

seems like reserve.img partition is not properly flashed.
do u use fastboot or recovery? i think this problem occur if you using recovery.
if root, you can flash reserve.img in magisk, font will fixed

Reflash your OOS ROM with 'local update' feature, like if it was a regular ROM update.
It will restore all those partitions needed for language and emji's
Best to do that than flash an .img file found on the net
Use the Man download tool, just read instructions and you'll be fine, worked for me several times. It's in the Guides forum.

thanks a lot, I didn't know that Android is kinda complicated
the original ROM that comes with the phone where can I download it? ( i looked the op site couldn't find it ) because I've download one it was for O2 UK
I don't understand yet, maybe i am more an IOS guy.
I want to format it and restore to the original rom came with the device.
Like I said, use Msm download tool. It will install global ROM and also format to new, and after that you can update.

If the method above is to comicated you can flash TWRP and make a system backup and upload it here. I can go ahead and make a flashable zip with that. Just backup your system and nothing else (privacy reasons).

Just boot twrp via fastboot and back up the system.

It's Ukrainian language and it was there from 2.0.0. Seems they still ignore Russians.

You would need to fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader then use fastboot boot twrp.img(image name for recovery) and then go to backup option and then select system, reboot your phone after and pull the twrp folder form your device.

You are from Germany, right? Would it help you if I would go through the steps with you, in German? PM me!
You would need to unlock the bootloader, but not more.
If you boot the recovery only, it will not get installed.
You can then lock it again afterwards.
in Spain people how ordered it from oneplus web site came with 2.0.3 too.....

My OPT came with 2.0.3 preinstalled. I just made a backup using TWRP before going through the initial setup of the phone. I don't know where people upload such big files to be honest. This is my first post on this forum. Someone from the OnePlus forums told me to check out XDA.
I'll explain it for you just take the nandroid and upload it to google drive I know it's tough but I'd appreciate it so much!

It's uploading as we speak. The file is 1.15 GB and my upload speed is only about 10Mbit/sec.

There's definitely a file that's causing the home button to not work when modifying the system with a new kernel. Or drivers or something of the sort.

Ive created latest pre root release of the latest D6503 Locked Bootloader Firmware things ive added are SuperSU v2.46 and NUT's Latest Dual Recovery v2.8.22 Enjoy
Issue Fixed*
There was a issue with the latest Recovery when pre rooting some reason the recovery didn't apply. Well ive sorted it using a manual fix requires a computer by manually installing the Recovery seemed to have fixed the problem
Step 1.
Download the Manual Recovery Below
Step2.
Make sure usb debugging is enabled.
Step3.
Run the Install.bat when it asks for a number press 1 then wait till it says now connect you're phone via USB and plug the phone in to computer its should say press any key then you're phone will restart and you should have Recovery p.s sorry for the problem's

Has always remember to:
1. Put the zip on your SDCard or internal memory
2. Boot into you're favourite recovery
3. Flash the zip
4. Wipe data/cache and dalvik
5. Reboot

Yes you can ive applied a fix that can be sorted apologies again :good:
I also wasn't able to boot into recovery after installing this version. I reflashed the recovery though and now it works.

That's what it said on mine on my Nod 32 Antivirus i just had to disable it my anti virus and then run it trust me there's no issues with it. :good: it was giving a false issue that easyroottool\libexploit.so its dangerous think they all do that cause of exploiting the root.

But can anyone give some detailed info about how to flash this? There are multiple options in flashfire, maybe a vide on youtube so everyone can see it?

Yes it works, but I haven't installed a custom recovery yet. No need for as long as there is no good custom rom in my opinion. I'm actually really hoping developers can cook a nice working android 7 rom in the coming weeks.

What?! No on flyme latest firmware. I HAVE DOWNLOADED the recovery it is ready but I don't now a way to check for 100% if it had worked so I don't want to flash it until there is a video or good custom rom. I don't have the cash to take a risk of brick in my phone

What kind of info do you need? Everything is in that forum post. I can understand the majority of the stuff with help of Google Translate.
What bugs exist, what doesnt work and is it safe to flash it.
Also is it still in development or is it discontinued, and if its needed a special flashing procedure.
Okay, from what I can understand:
Bugs:
- cameras not working
- GPS not working
- no music at maximum headphone volume
- Setup Wizard crashes at startup
- at boot SystemUI will reboot once
- something related to communication

Hmm, i think there's no point in extracting the zip. If you could get someone to translate things for you to Russian and ask in 4PDA, that'd be great.

I would not advise you to put the firmware, as it is very crude. And updates are unlikely.
Can I flash my H440N when this ROM is on H420/H422 ?
Good evening to all xda communities, I have always had deep esteem for you, for what is published here, and I didn't think that one day I too would have written something here but hey, here I am. Two days ago I installed the Pixel Experience (very nice rom, very fluid and stable) but today I wanted to put the stock rom (xiaomi redmi note 7) on my device. Only I can't understand how to do it, there is some good soul who could explain to me step by step what I should do. I pay coffee to anyone who wants to help me, I'm still a good samaritan. Thanks.
When I want to back to the stock rom, I do this with miflash. Download miflash, download the latest fastboot rom (it's a tgz file, you must decompress it in your desktop in a apart folder). Connect your device in fastboot mode. With miflash search the ROM and press en clean and lock bootloader, or only clean. This process always works for me.

do I have to download the rom on the miui website and flash it as if it were a custom? I thought it was so ..

You can download the fastboot ROM in Mifirm (sorry xba doesn't allow me post links).
I always do it with miflash because I like to have the device as it were new. This is why I lock the bootloader. This installation is cleaner than the recovery one.
By the way you can download the recovery version and flash it by recovery as if it were a custom and don't lock the bootloader. I have never done it in this way.

Which version did you have when you bought it? Mine is global version, so I download the latest global.

International is golbal version, you can try with global, but european version should work too.

They are practically the same, but as far as I know, the volume of headphones is lower in European version.

opening miflash gives me this screen and if i click okay I get that little square in Chinese but the program seems to be going, is this a problem?

installed but nothing, however the program goes, only when I click on the driver does I get that screen, do you think it can give me errors if I try to do what I have to do with that program, sorry for the pun

If you installed pixel experience before, you must have the drivers, don't click in install, ignore it. Click in refresh and when miflash recognize your device, click in flash.
