i have PX5 android head unit and its FYT6026 ( not joying android unit ) i have been updated by joying firmware and every things is working fine so far but i got message in the top that UI and MCU do not match ! (JY)
i have been trying many firmware from joying but still this issue not solved
my unit is PX5
Ram 4 GB
Rom 32 GB
could you please help me in this regards
note:
i don't have old firmware for this unit since i am not make backup

I've got a headunit unbranded and written on the screen that it's android 4.4 but if I tap on the label android version I discovered that it's android 4.2
Anyway that's not a problem because it works good
My question now is how can I upgrade it to android 4.4 kitkat?
Other question is if I can't upgrade it so can I make a format to the software and install a 4.4 android to replace the 4.2????

No one can help unit youve shown us something that can identify your unit, post a pic of your settings/about screen that shows your MCU type.
What we can say is that if its got an Mstar processor its deffo NOT an MTCB/C head unit, it may be an AN21-U unit, theres a thread for them in the General forum.

informations about the headunit is full AOSP cedric3 on Mstar.. and I will be thankfully if you give me a link to catch any answers from it

You will have to look for a thread with "AN21-U" in the title in the Android Head Unit General forum (its a very long thread started at least 3 years ago with millions of views) - in order to post a link I would have to look, so you may as well look yourself.

and i had no luck of gating answers. my question is: is this because it cant be done or what?

You need to show the proper about screen that shows what MTCD unit you have.
All those screenshots are pretty much useless information which is probably why nobody is answering you.

You dont have an MTCD unit, as you have an Mstar processor I would guess you ahve an AN21-U, try that thread or the Android headunits general forum.

hello! maybe somebody can helps me! i have a HU MTCD_CT_V1.94_1 SOFIA3GR_CAR USERDEBUG 5.1.1 LMY49F eng.htc , quadcore 1.2 with 1 gb ddr and 16 gb internal memory screen resol 1024x600. Are there some mcu uptate for this unit? actualy my unit is on starting loop. someone knows how can i do the Hard reset? Mtcd_ct_v1.94_1 sofia3gr_car

Theres a specific thread for MTCD Sofia units, try there.
Hi Guys I just brought a new Hyundai venue S 1.2 model in India which dint had touch screen music system instead a bare bone 2 din music system, so i got an android head unit with 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage for 14500 INR (204 USD) the seller told me it has DSP but the sound of the original 2 din music system from Hyundai sounds more better than the android headunit with stock company speakers.
The android headunit says it has android 8.1 go but the android API level level suggests its android 6.0 Marshmallow.
I want to root the system and install custom ROM or may be even upgrade the android version the problem is i am not familiar with the android head unit community i did search for custom ROM 8227L but those were for the HI-FI version not the DSP one. It would be good if some one could guide me in the right direction or give a link to the thread which has all the information regarding this headunit.
Also I am looking for the link to the launcher screenshot attached.

Hi, your unit isnt an MTC(B/C/D/E) unit, so you might not get a reply in here. Try searching for '8227L' and see what threads exist.

I just bought a second hand Kia picanto which came with an px5 2Gb ram/ android 8.0.0 multimedia system.
There’s an app there named easy link for Apple CarPlay but it won’t work.
