Barclays app with beta 22 - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

My. Barclays app stopped working with the latest update any one have the same problem?

Same problem here - both Barclays app & Pingit. Tried clearing cache & data, force stopping apps and re-booting phone, non worked. I had a similar problem occur once bofore when I rooted a phone (although my current phone isn't rooted). So maybe a problem with the Barclays apps security thinking the phone is rooted after the update? Either Barclays or Oneplus will need to tweak their software.

Market re-download problems since .602?

I think this issue started with .602, but I'm not certain. After wiping the phone (and yes backup was always checked off) my apps once installed from the market do not redownload. Some that were installed dont show up on the web version of the market either. Did something break in the second GB update and was there ever a solution for this?
It had been reported to Google. No fix yet.
See http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=17354
Apparently, the app download routine "quietly" crashes in the background, and subsequent apps don't restore.

[Q] G2 force closes new apps after reboot

A few days ago I updated cyanogenmod on my phone to a nightly build and found a weird problem. Whenever I installed any app and rebooted the phone, the app would always force close when it was opened. This problem kept occuring even if the cache or the data was cleared, and the only way to fix the problem would be to uninstall and reinstall the app, which would last untill the next reboot. Also, some apps would not appear in the app drawer. I tried to install a stable firmware, but the problem still exists. Is there a solution?
It even got rid of google play! The only way to get it back is to uninstall the updates and then reupdate it.

Crash when torifying all apps

I have rooted my device, and was looking to have orbot torify all apps. However, as soon as it finishes establishing a circuit, the the phone crashes and reboots, similar to what happens when the governor is set to msm-dcvs. The last event that occurs before this happens is orbot is granted superuser access.
The superuser app I'm using is SuperSU. The rom and kernel are stock.
Things I have tried to resolve this issue:
Uninstalling and reinstalling orbot
Clearing data from orbot
Changing superuser app from SuperSU to superuser.
Only torifying certain apps
Over an hour of searching Google, bing, and duckduckgo turned up nothing.
I am certain that the problem is local my s4, since I had no problem torifying all apps on my nexus 7.

Chase Bank App

So after updating to NC2 Kitkat all apps are functioning as one would expect, save for one: the Chase Bank app. I repeatedly try to log in and it accepts my credentials, forwards me to a confirm identification by using an authorization code screen. From there I click email/text/call to get an authorization code which comes promptly.
The problem is when I enter it in, it accepts it then spits an error station that my accepted login credentials are incorrect (they're not) and I'm rerouted back to the login screen to repeat the cycle in futility.
Now what's odd is if I go to the mobile site using ANY browser on my phone (stock browser, chrome, Firefox, opera, tried em all) it will do the SAME thing. However, the moment I click "use desktop mode" and try to log in using the full site, it works perfectly, no hiccups whatsoever.
So, this means something on my phone is blocking the use of the mobilized versions of Chase's site. My first thought was my ad blocker. I disabled that completely and uninstalled it, rebooted, and still no dice.
Any ideas? Had anyone else had this same experience? I'm running stock, rooted, de-odexed Kitkat NC2 for reference. No tweaks aside from Wanam via Xposed framework.
Another thought was maybe it's checking my root status as ISIS Mobile Wallet does. Thus I downloaded a root cloak (aptly called rootcloak in Xposed download section) for just such apps. Alas, this too is not the problem.

I'm using NC4 rooted and Chase is working fine for me. I never had to verify though because I restored the app from titanium backup. It may be obvious but did you try clearing the app data? Maybe you have a backup to restore from when it was working?
Edit: Rereading your post, I also successfully used Chase on NC2. Also, you can use Titanium Backup to restore an app and data from a nandroid backup if you didn't backup through titanium.

Restoring System Apps without root.

Okay I ran into a weird problem which I can't fix on my own, so I hope you guys can help me there.
I own a Stock non rooted SM-N910F 5.1.1!
Now to the problem, the last Facebook update bugged the app somehow for me. (Forceclose on startup) So I deleted the last updates through the app manager and tried to reinstall the updates through the market. Got a strange 505 error. Now the strange stuff happened. The Facebook app wasn't to be seen anywere else in the app drawer, as if the botched reinstall deleted the system app.
The market says I don't have FB installed and when I try I get the same 505 error.
I downloaded the facebook apk from a mirror and installed it via ADB so I can get a more detailed error message. I got the: INSTALL_FAILED_CONFLICTING_PROVIDER as far as I know this means some leftovers of the system app are still installed which prevents the new install?
So what to do? I really can't root because of work policies.
Is there a way to flash the original firmware with Odin without loosing my data or tripping knox? (Like with the Nexus Toolkit for Nexus devices?)
