If the device can be seen by a computer, reflash the factory image. If not, no idea.

Dear friend if you have no OS installed and the Bootloader blocked the only thing you can try is using an OTG cable and a flash memory to download the latest version of the factory image but OTA and copy it to the flash memory and try to flash it from the stock recovery

i cannot do that. how can i access OTG ? booting into recovery reboots phone in endless loop of booting into Google written screen and Screen turns off...

Can you boot to bootloader? (With the device powered off, hold Volume Down + Power)
Then run
Code:
fastboot devices
If you see your mobile then you should be able to flash the factory ROM.

No worries. Normally I wouldn't dig into it... but who knows, next time could be me in the same spot.
If you can boot using twrp then you can get adb shell with root, right?
Code:
adb shell getprop | grep -i unlock
I'm getting
[ro.oem_unlock_supported]: [1]
[sys.oem_unlock_allowed]: [1]

I'm wondering if you set those props to 1 maybe you'll be able to flash images again.
Code:
adb -d shell setprop ro.oem_unlock_supported 1
adb -d shell setprop sys.oem_unlock_allowed 1
...
Spending way more time than I should lol...

Bootlooping Nexus

My Nexus 6P is seemingly bootlooping.
I can boot into the bootloader menu but not into recovery. My bootloader is not unlocked so I cannot flash anything.
Issuing the command: "fastboot flashing unlock" does not work nor does "fastboot oem unlock". I cannot flash a custom recovery. Because my bootloader is locked.
Any help would be great.

You say that your bootloader was not unlocked, so I'm assuming you didn't have developer options turned on and USB debugging checked before fastboot flashing unlock?

Do you remember if you modded anything prior to bootloop? The reason you can't unlock bootloader is because USB debugging isn't on. What version of Android were you on when it happened? I believe you can still use google factory Image to restore your phone.

Since you don't have twrp you probably don't have a backup, which what I'm going to suggest will bring you back to stock and may lose everything. Though it's better than a bricked phone. Since I never did the flash-all.bat you may lose your stuff on internal SD. In this link, download the correct image your phone was on (under angler) and if using windows use the flash-all.bat in fastboot. If you're phone isn't 32 GB, extract all from zip and flash everything except user data. Forgive me for assuming you may be new. https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

Tried that. Continue to get the "Remote: (device is locked)" error every time it tries to flash a new image.
I'm not worried about losing any data on the phone. everything is backed up in the cloud.

Do you get the error on all that you try to flash? Maybe just try the recovery img only to see if you can at least get that. If that works you should be able to sideload ota through recovery. With having a locked bootloader you might be at a loss. But on the flip side, having everything locked and not rooted you should be ok for warranty replacement.

Fastboot is useless since your bootloader is locked. Try to ADB sideload the latest OTA image from Google and see if it will boot.

Tried running through those steps. I can't even get a temporary boot of TWRP or stock recovery continues to bootloop even though WugFresh claims it was successful. Tried doing it manually via Fastboot and continue to get the error in flashing.
I just received my replacement phone. So I might just call it a day on this one. :crying:

Good to hear about replacement! There are a few people in these forums that have a brick and can't get out of it. I thought you couldn't Hard brick these phones unless that was your goal. And most of these users who have bricks don't even know what causes it. Just a random reboot then loops. Kinda scary.

Help! Nexus 6p is boot looped !

I`ve decided to return to stock and I wish I didn`t!
After flashing the files for the latest stock image , I was unable to pass the boot animation.
That was six hours ago.
I tried to reinstall another full image from google website.
I did and then my computer doesn`t recognize my device on adb mode.
Tried to update the drivers via Android Studio and through the usb drivers folder , it gives an error of not being able to download the update because of disabling the automatic windows update even though I did.
Help, people what can I do?
Should I just get a new phone?
It`s a very tough option for me right now due to some financial issues.

Hi... Explain how exactly you flashed your phone. Fastboot? Adb sideload?
What was your android version prior to your problem.
What version did you try to flash? Did you use the flash all.bat/sh? Or flashed each image manually?
Are you stuck in bootloader? Can you still access recovery? Or does it bootloop when trying to reboot into recovery?

No, unlocking the bootloader may make the difference in being able to recover your phone. Did you also enable USB debugging in Developer Options when you unlocked your bootloader? Was ADB working before and now has stopped working? I would first focus on getting ADB/fastboot binaries (and USB drivers) set up and working properly on your PC.

I flashed the latest version of Android 7.1.1 with March update
I flashed each image manaually
Not stuck on boot loader but stuck on the animation of booting without accessing anything on the phone so it`s a bootloop.
I flashed stock all and unlocked the bootloader afterwards....... Trying to unlock it now with no hope of how to unlock it and flash anything and save myself from this problem!

No you just need fastboot working to unlock (this is assuming you already had it unlocked before)... but again this depends on you having your PC set up correctly.
fastboot flashing unlock - try that and see if it finishes successfully or not.

I unlocked it before but now did a full recovery to Stock and locked the bootloader.
I need to access the usb debugging option before I can type in that command in the CMD
My PC is set up correctly .
My only problem is that I don`t have access to my phone in order to enable that option and don`t know how to unlock the bootloader with any other way.
That is all

7.1.1

The same version again after flashing a pure nexus rom , flashed each image manually

How is your bootloader locked while having TWRP installed? Boot to bootloader and unlock it again. Then proceed with flashing the stock image.

use fastboot, first unlock the bootloader with code fastboot oem unlock, then move the kernel of your android version to the fastboot folder and flash it on the boot partition, with the code fastboot flash boot boot.img, that's all.

Maybe a bricked phone

Hey guys, I need some help. I searched a lot and didn't find nothing that looks like my problem.
I had a OP5 with Magisk root and tried to back it to stock. Then I flashed OnePlus recovery again, wiped everything and install 5.1.3 again. Everything ok until I made some dumb ****.
I tried to re-lock my bootloader and now my phone says that it won't boot up because it's corrupted. I can boot into both recovery and fastboot but I can't install anything (I can only install through ADB sideload and it says install failed) and I can't re-unlock my bootloader because it says remote: Flashing Unlock is not allowed cant boot (but I can't boot so I can't enable oem unlock through developer menu).
There is anything that I can do to make my phone boot again?
Thanks in advance.

Thank u, killerex. Just one doubt: I see on the post about the tool that I need to have OEM unlocking enabled but, as I said, I can't do this since I can't boot. You're gonna lose all your data cos the phone will get a COMPLETE factory reset, take it as a life lesson to back up first
Oh...never mind then, lol

Bootloader gone

Hi, I've been using a Motorola Moto G6 Plus for quite a long time now. However, I can't figure out why it doesn't show any boot logo at startup, getting a black screen but a USB signal to my PC in fastboot mode (PC detects it at Fastboot evert S, which is good). Can anyone tell me or help me figure out why this phone isn't giving me boot logo's and fastboot?
First of all i wanna make clear that:
1. Can you reboot to system?
2. Can you reboot to recovery?
3. You have Root access in your phone?
Please consider answring.

Yes, the system works as normal. It runs stock Android 9, not rooted. It doesn't have any recovery installed, and when I try to reboot to ADB, it gives the same black screen as the boot logo and bootloader. The screen is slightly lighting up, so I know it powers up, but it doesn't give the screen I want, the default bootloader screen.

OK, try flashing stock boot.img through Fastboot or TWRP, this should work.

TWRP already isn't an option, and I don't know how to do it with fastboot. Could you guide me through that?
OK, so first of all i wanna make clear that you don't use this phone as primary phone because unlocking bootloader and Flashing have chances that your data might be erased, so BACK Up all of your DATA to a safe place before doing this.
If everything is set, Lets move ahead by unlocking your phone's bootloader and flashing. Watch this this tutorial:
Download boot.img file of your phone &
After that boot your phone in fastboot mode connect it to PC and, type this command in CMD fastboot flash boot (boot.img path)
Hope this helps!

I didn't read your message fully, so didn't back up my phone... Lucky me this isn't my primary phone and it didn't erase anything. It didn't help me though.
Edit: Now that I try booting into Android, it gives the same black screen as the bootloader and logo. I'm starting to think that it unfortunately erased my phone.
Maybe try flashing full stock?

Let's try that. How do I flash that with fastboot or adb?
