Xiaomi announced that they won't make new Mi Max phones. I hope this is a joke.
Xuaomi said they have no plans for max this year..... Its the media who used the word discontinued.

As a consumer, it sucks to lose a potential choice, especially when LG and HTC have clearly given up trying outplay Samsung, but their Le Pro3, even at $300, fared terribly against my OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, so I returned it. You couldn't even unlock the bootloader back when I had it... The Le Max 2 on the other hand is a fantastic choice at $196, and arguably a better phone than the Pro3. I bought the Max 2 as a placeholder for the OnePlus 5 after I sold my 3 and 3T, but I just skip the 5, and wait for the OnePlus 6, that's how good the Max 2 is. It looks like LeEco has given up too considering how their upcoming phone's are very similar to the Max 2...

Yeah it would be nice to see another strong competitor in the game! I'm surprised you sold your 3T it's a way more stable device than Max2.. I guess for price/performance ratio le max2 is pretty good positioned especially with the few good roms around.
Hopefully they'll still continue to push updates and devices... but I'm wondering about a potential Nougat update unless they decide to jump to Android O right away :silly:
Its not looking too good for LeEco lately, see all the recent news reports.

Yeah i saw that, would be nice if they could manage their company wisely cause the clearly had a good potential.
Hi guys,
I am coming from the LG V30+ which didn't really rock me, changed it for a Huawei Mate Pro 10, which isn't really my choice to be honest because of EMUI and the nailed up system.
Now I am thinking of the above-mentioned phones:
Nokia 6
Nokia 6 2018
HTC U11 Life
Xiaomi Mi A1
I'd just like to have a good phone, no need for high end range any more, with a good visible notification light and/or active screen, some big internal and/or SD slot, which gets updates regularly. I do not want to buy some iOS device for some regular system upgrades, I just love my Android freedom, tbh. It should also work flawless with my Pebble Steel and Mi Band 2 or other smart devices.
THank you for your help, I am sick of burning money for the wrong phones

Wait for april, nokia 7 plus is going to be launch, its the best phone that matches your demand
Xiaomi Mi A1 has no NFC, also it does not support some LTE bands in US/Europe. So it depends where you live and whether you use Google Pay. Re Nokia 6 (2018) don't buy Chinese version unless you live in China.

Nokia 6 2018 is also announced at MWC 2018 Globally,
Just need to wait to be launched soon
Hi,
What would be decent replacement for our x2, but not to cost double than amount paid for x2, most paid 120-150eur.
Will there be such device in near future?
Maybe Poco F1 after 1 year, if price drops to 150$, or Xiaomi redmi Note 8 pro .
Doubt you'll get a phone with flagship grade (SD8XX) chipset for €120 probably ever, or at least not until it's over two years old. Even still now, HTC 10 Evo, with ****ty SD810, is minimum $150, and Moto Z with 820 like Max 2 is $200. Doubt the Pocophone will get much cheaper than its original price either - it's already ridiculously cheap, Xiaomi wouldn't make any money on it at all if they sold it for less.
So I have a mi mix 2s at the moment, and I was offered a meizu 16th.
I'd have to give my Mi mix 2s + 90€... Wondering if such a trade is worth it and why?
Cheers!
