I have a problem with my Nubia Z17.
My device has suddenly gone out at night and is no longer on. It was pluged in, but it was still out.
When I try to load the device I get no reaction, just as I connect it to the PC.
I think that the battery is defective and would like to swap it.
Unfortunately, I have not found any video yet how I can open the Z17. The only videos I found were for the Z17 mini or the Z17s. I think it is similar processed as the Z17s but it does not get up.
Can someone help me?
Thanks

Yes i think the problem is the flash (ROM) chip. It is on motherboard so yes you must replace "insides". And i am sorry for your phone.:crying:
Have you tried to uninstall the drivers for the phone? And if your computer is Asus, do you have an app called Asus usb charger or something like that?
I had a problem with an Iphone which was not recognized by Itunes. And the device manager was going crazy, bcs the computer kept switching off the connection with the phone. It turned out there was an Asus app, called Asus usb charger or something like that, which was causing the problem.
So, check everything on your PC and find out why the connection keep getting switched off, format your memory card with SD formatter and after that try to flash it with Windows 6.5.
Best of luck!

Guys, Need your help. You are my last hope !
Just bought an i9505 to a guy, via internet... I know it's risky... The guy was saying the phone got stuck after he had a power cut (his PC shut down) during a Kies update., but that the phone was able to go to download mode.
So I thought it would be easy to flash.
The bad surprise was when I received the phone : nothing happens, no sign of life. No sign when pluging the charger, no sign when trying to boot whatever mode I select, no vibration, no sound, no nothing... I even tried a Jig USB dongle that I had purchased a few years ago for my i9000 : nothing.
I contacted the seller who pretends I broke it as he checked again the download mode before sending me the phone.
I tend to believe he is saying the truth as he could simply have not responded.
Is there any experiment I should do ? I read that getting the battery off and pressing Power for 30 sec might help... Did not work either...
Any other ideas ???
Thanks
Edit: oops sorry, this thread should have been created in the "Q&A, Help and Troubleshooting" section... Moderator... could you please move it there ? Sorry...

Plug it in to the wall charger for a while and see if any thing happens, I've had a battery dead flat before and it took a couple of minutes before it started charging.

Thanks ph0n3n3rd. Trying right now, but not real hope as I have another S4 with a fully charged battery which I already tried with no success.
I also have tried charging the original battery for hours today both from my laptop and from and external battery (branded Anker) which usually charges even faster than the wall charger...
Also one of the first things I tried when I received the phone without being able to boot it was to try the other way : the new phone's battery in the old S4. And it booted. The new phone's battery was about 40%...

Hi GDReaper, thanks for the link. I had actually seen it yesterday. I have installed (this was not easy as I was getting an error when try to install the .inf files) the QHUSB drivers... in the hope that this would help the PC not only recognize, but detect (!) the phone. Indeed the phone is not even detected by windows : no sound, no "drivver installation message", nothing that I can see in the Device Manager. And the phone too does not show any sign of connection to the PC...
THe guy who sold me this phone keeps telling me he could go to download mode just before sending it to me. He is even getting pissed off and pretends i'm a liar...

Unless it somehow got damaged during transport, then he is the one who is most probably lying.
You will have to take it in for service if you can't get a refund. I doubt it can be fixed without any specialized equipment.

Hi bes1de, thanks. I can only find this one : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f777/hot-hot-easy-repair-boot-samsung-s4-i9500-via-sd-card-1693343/ for now but this is for i9500.
BTW... I realize the phone does not seem to be an i9505 but an i9515 ! I got confused because of this : View attachment 3654348
As you can see, the sticker shows i9515 but the "housing" is i9505...
The SIM card reader also shows i9505 : View attachment 3654337
And... the charge flex cable shows i9500 (yet another S4 model !) : View attachment 3654338
Do you think Samsung uses parts from different phones like that ? Or that the seller kind of rebuilt a "phone" from various parts found here and there ?
I'd like to be able to test the parts of this dead phone to see if I can sell it as parts.
I was thinking to tear down my own personal S4 (i9505 perfectly working) and use its motherboard to test the dead phone's screen.
I read that the LCD is different...
Do you think I might break my i9505 motherboard trying to connect it to the i9515 display ?...
Edit: OK I did it ! Installed my personal S4 motherboard into the dead one in order to check the display, the buttons (incl. touch ones) and the USB/charge port : all is fine. The PC detects ad recognizes it, so the USB connector and its flex cable are fine.
I could now swap the cameras, the proximity sensor, the SIM and SDcard readers and see if they are OK...
Edit 2: Loud speaker works fine too.
Thanks and regards !

Edit: Anyone used the SBoot clip here ?
As far as I understand it only works with Exynos phones, so not for my i9515. Any information about that ?
Thanks
Hi guys,
My beloved Priv has became so slow to the point where it's not usable.
The problem came from nowhere in the middle of a working day. I just pick up the phone and unlocked it when this problem occurred.
The phone is never-lock version bought on the European marker but I don't know exactly where because I got it secondhand and I'm not able anymore to get that information.
Restoring the OS and also 3 times re-flashing of "bbry_qc8992_autoloader_user-common-AAH995" didn't help and the phone is slowed down even at blackberry logo on the early startup of the phone.
You can see what am I talking about in this video:

Please Help!
Video does not work.

fixed!
that looks normal to me, low battery and charging causes that. it doesn't matter if it's a fresh reset or not. it's a normal android thing. In my truck I mount it next to the rearview mirror, the sun hits it and it will not charge.
at first my phone works perfectly i already used it 1 year, While I'm surfing my phone suddenly Shut Off then when i connect it to charger it only shows red light and Cant power on anymore no signs of life. I google search if someone had a problem same as mine but on their scenario their phones are blinking red light that like charging but mine is not like that also theirs can be detected on PC PORTS while mine is not working.I Find a same problem like the LETV L1s where i only need to pry open then unplug and plug the battery i tried it on mine and still not working, I'm at my wits end now i If anyone here knows how to fix this please help me before i give this to repair shop that wants me to pay 70$ when i only bought this phone for 100$:crying::crying::crying:
note:
SOLID RED LIGHT(not blinking like the others had) when connected at usb cable either on power brick or PC
Can't detect on device manager Ports and Usb Ports
Already tried Combination buttons like 1min. POWER BUTTON,VOL DOWN
Already tried pry open unplug and plug battery
this happened while i'm charging with 67% bar
this device already survived the common red light of dead where the led blinks, then after 2 days of using the solid red light came.
Im not really good at electronics but i can understand properly others instruction so feel free to help cause i really need i cant survive to wait for payday without any phone
Hey, can you send a screenshot of what your PC says when you connect to it?
Also, just try Power +vol up for 20 seconds and see if anything comes up (Connect your phone to the charger connected to AC wall outlet while doing so) .

Hi RandomDelta
Thanks for replying
I dont know how to send a Screenshot here lmao. My PC doesnt respond when i plug my phone i even check device Manager even tho i already installed the Drivers and also it must show Unknown Usb but there's nothing showed,I tried to plug another phone and the device manager lists refreshed unlike in my leeco phone it doesnt,I also tried the 20 sec POWER + VOL UP.
In repair shop they said that the motherboard is already dead
Thats why it need a replacement now I'm planning to buy a new phone instead.
I wonder if it's good to invest for another leeco phone like the QSD LE 2 or Le Max 2. I hope it doesnt happen again
The le eco company is dead. They went bankrupt. I'd suggest you not to buy Le eco devices because you will get no warranty support . Sorry to hear about the sad demise of your phone. Btw, if the mother board was dead, there shouldn't be even the red led working. Solid RED led means you are in engineering mode and have cleaned all device memory. So there is no kernel ,OS , recovery or even drivers(hence your PC doesn't recognize it). If you can get hold of Le eco's proprietary flashing software(It's available for windows I guess) and flash everything , I guess it might work. Your motherboard seems fine.

Have you fixed it? I have the same problem with a x626... solid red light.
Spflash does not work.
Device Manager switch between two states... it recognize MTK port But does not recognize MTK Preload Vcom.
Only at first time windows has recognized MTK Preload Vcom but spflash failed the flash. After it, the port has not recognized anymore.
I have installed drivers with no luck.
Do you have any news about it?
Sorry about my english
