I have a DM09 smartwatch and i want to install applications for my Smartwatch, but I can't because DM09 smartwatch doesn't support SD card so i am left with applications writing it into the smartwatch memory (500k) and I can't find a way to connect the smartwatch to my laptop, so is there any way to edit android application code to add your own apps ? Or is there an app that you can use as an appstore ?

Hey, I'd like to know some apps that you install using the phone, but which can be used when the phone is disconnected (not with you), so run natively on the watch.
Like, I install app A when I have my friends android phone, when I go home, I still want to use app A. I know there is a possibility for this as google said it. I know of the 2 apps: wear calc and wear compass. But surely, there should be more right? Anyone know some Watch-specific/native/standalone apps?

+1 - I have been reading what I can find on the internet about hacking/updating K88H but unfortunately there isn't a satisfactory amount of resources regarding this smart watch.
It's a great gadget though - if in doubt, just buy it, a great value for the price!
Back to the topic of this thread - There is value in looking for resources that talk about hacking/updating nuclear os as it's operating system that the watch is using.

1. Which app do you suggest to be downloaded in iPhone, which is stable and can be used to access all function in watch.
2. I am unable to read my text messages from watch (which i can if i connect from Android phone)
3. In android I had "Mediatek SmartDevice" and "Fundo Wear" app which had the folder called "Applications" in the app. I was able to download few other watch faces or yahoo weather from it. However i am unable to find it in the iOS apk of "iOS Mediatek SmartDevice" and iOS Fundowear" am i doing something wrong?

How can I install watch faces using my iphone? What app on iphone that can install watch faces and apps on k88h? Mediatek Smartdevice by Liang Lv from App Store can't install watch faces unlike Mediatek Smartdevice by Mediatek Inc from google play.

I also have the K88H. I did not like some of the screens on the Notifications. It has a huge "BLOCK" button that if you touch it the screen pops up asking if you want to block these kinds of messages. I blocked all the apps I wanted in the Mediatek SmartDevice app on my Android Phone. So why would I want that second button in the way?
Long story short I used Golem_'s tutorial and found a better firmware. Follow his instructions to the letter. Make sure you back up your existing firmware before continuing. Our watch is the MTK2502A 128MB. My favorite firmware so far is the X-Watch firmware. Golem_ also has a collection of firmware for you to begin with. Engjoy...

I have in mind to create a smartwatch OS. So, I was wondering if it was possible to fork or customize Android wear OS for instance.
The idea is to remove all unnecessary apps, services, and notifications (to save RAM, space, and battery), install some default .apk and watch faces, create a service to keep the .apk and watch face up-to-date automatically from a repository, enable remote access, etc.
If you know whether this is possible or not, and have some resources or tutorials about it, let me know!

Sorry no. It’s not supported. It would also have to be apps that don’t require any network connection since the mtk2502c doesn’t have any WiFi or data support except for Bluetooth. If you ask me the mtk2502c is the worse cpu to put in a clone. They should at least have one that can connect to WiFi

Hey , I did install a pdf reader. It's working with small sized pdf's. But there is a problem that my watch looks 1 MB. (Normally it's 128 MB) I connected my watch to my computer. Looks only 1 MB memory. I can't see system files and apps from my computer when plugged with USB. I downloaded 15+ 240x240 supported ".vxp" games and apps. But I find just one game that is working in my watch. But I can't play because my watch is round. Game menu asks: "Do you want a voice?" I can't click to yes or no because these buttons are under of screen. And i can't touch them.
Do you know a way to see my watch's all files? Only there is 1 MB storage that I can use. Thanks...
I bought a f-1 smartwatch with mtk processor. I installed mediatek smartdevice on my phone in order to connect the watch via bluetooth. My question is why i cant intall anything on my smartwatch. I want to add some new faces. From app pics from google play i can see that faces can be installed but i cant see them in the app.
I can only see 3 apps (yahoo weather, digital clock and codoon). I cant install any of them...it gives me the error: "cant install. Unknown error"
Can i install any apps on my smartwatch or faces? How?
