Last Google Play (Services, Login,..., the 4 apks) makes 4K Stick Boot-Loop, don't know which apk exactly.
So be warned.
Have at least ADB activated and authorized (use it) before trying, don't sure it will help.
USB-Keybord <Alt> <Print> <i> seems not working, as remote <Right> <Back> not.
After Looping about half a day 4K came up once.
You have to do a factory reset then, otherwise another half day on next boot up.
Network was USB-Hub - USB-Ethernet, don't know if important.
Did you fix the bootloop issue on Firestick 4k?

Yeah, unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky. I let it loop for 50 hours and nothing, the loop still went on. Tried almost everything before. Back + right on the remote doesn't work. Connecting a keyboard using UCEC Micro USB OTG Adapter and pressing CTRL + ALT + PRTSCN + I, and other combinations that I saw, nothing. ADB seems to be the best way to fix it but since my stick has never been used/authorized on my pc, I'm screwed there as well. Suggestions would be highly appreciated but I think I went through just about everything there is.
For me it worked twice (about half a day) behind each other. (Didn't do factory reset after first half day success, but reboot, so another half day).

Home screen came up once after looping for about half a day like told and could use it as usual including going trough menue to factory reset.
But didn't do factory reset first time.
After reboot same looping again.

Did you leave your tv POWER ON in the half day process or you just turned it OFF?
I'm not sure.
But think my TV turns off after some hours of no Remote input.
So try a day with TV switched off.
Had the same issue. Waited for an opportunity and did the same workaround. Lesson learned.
4K Boot Loop Issue
Please help!
Have 2x firestick devices, both in boot loop mode...
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Damn, i have got the same problem. I think it happends after aptoide system apps updates. Now i have bootloop with adb connectivity (Firestick 4k). I have uninstalled all third party apps, tried fastboot -w and other factory reset / userdata delete options but wihout root nothing really works. It is bootlooping since yesterday evening, i hope it would start today. Are other posibilities while i can connect through adb? Any factory reset through adb without root access?
Unbrick fire tv ( Boot Loop problem)
Using a OTG with charger and USB conector, conect an multimedia keyboard.
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL(SUPR) for restarting.
When restart press CTRL+PAD key (square with lines) a lot of times.
Then the fire Tv go enter in SAFE MODE.
Then go to configuration and do a factory reset.
Good Luck.
Had this issue yesterday,
I am not sure if i was just lucky but after trying with a keyboard ctrl+alt+delete + several combinations after the stick restarted i tried <Back> and <Right> combo on a remote and it loaded normally.
After that i just uninstalled the google pay services from the fire stick apps menu and everything went back to normal.

Please be kind and tell me the specific model for otg adapter (a picture or where did you purchase it). Thanks!
Hello guys.
I just want to share you that i've just fixed my device using a regular "y otg cable", an usb keyboard and following the instructions described in this video youtu.be/rh9Jba5T8Fs
Hope it might help somebody else.
Take care, be safe.

I've fixed my problem via adb.
My problem was that I try to install google play store, so, I've uninstalled this apps.
I connect the firestick to my laptop USB port (I´ve put the firestick to my laptop HDMI port to, but I dont know if it is required)
Then, using the terminar a run
Code:
adb uninstall com.google.android.gms
adb uninstall com.google.android.gsf.login
good luck :fingers-crossed:
i was stuck on this like a week

Hey guys,
I've rooted my KF and got everything running. Haven't plugged it into the computer for about a week and now that I do, the KF does not show up and does not even make the dung dung sound when you connect up a device.
What can I do to fix this problem?
I have restarted both the KF and the computer without luck

There's a few ways to get to promised land, and not all require the files associated with this process. Worth a shot:
http://goo.gl/05PH4
Also, I assume the device is able to charge using the provided charger? Just checking the actual usb port...
Ya, the cable seems to charge but when plugging into the computer, there is no detection of a new usb device ...
Went through the video step by step. It's actually the same video I used to root. Get all the way till you plug in and have the device detect ... nothing. No where to go from there ...
Any suggestions?
Just connected the KF to a laptop and nothing shows up in the device manager either. No detection at all. WTF ...
Just tried a 3rd computer and no joy. Any thoughts?
This happened to me a couple of times where the Fire wasn't detected by the computer as a USB device and Kindle didn't pop up the mass storage message. After a hard reset it worked fine again. Hold down power for 20 sec and then hit power again to turn on.
Did a hard reset and still no luck ...
Just tried another cable ... it's not the cable ....
Can anyone offer any insight?
Have you tried a factory reset back to stock? Something somewhere is messed up, and it would end up being needle in haystack time trying to work out what the problem is. It shouldn't take too long to put things back to how they were post reset. If if doesn't work when stock, then you have potential hardware issues.
It's possible that one of the data pins is having issues on the Micro USB connector, especially if it still charges.
Looks like the USB port is hooped. It just stopped charging ....
Hi all, I've found that when I leave my Player on sleep for a while, I am unable to wake it back up. I've tried pressing the hardware button, the remote buttons, etc. The led is on, but there's no output or sound response from my TV. I have to unplug the NP and plug it back in. Probably a user error, but what's the process to wake the system?
Thanks in advance!

I am experiencing something similar, it started with restarts, then it would not boot without the button on the bottom and now it says no signal. Tried connecting it to the pc, pc installed drivers, and if you unplug a cable it says cable unplugged.

Bumping as I still haven't found a solution.
yep, mine does the same thing, every day i have to reboot it as the screen is black and the device is unresponsive
MIne I have to unplug the HDMI and plug it back in then magically there is a signal. I tried setting never go to sleep and that did not hep. Did anyone upgrade to 5.1.1? does that fix anything?
Bump. Got mine a few days ago and the same thing happens.
It's still on and running. It's still a little warm under the button. But no matter what I do with the remote or button or TV, nothing happens. The only way to get it back up is to unplug/plug the hdmi or power cable.
I've got the same problem, but I've unplugged everything and still nothing, tried different TVs, Different HDMi leads still nothing. Going to contact Ausu or go back to where I purchased it tomorrow. was loving catching up with Game of Throne haha

Still no solution. Tried 3 different ROMs and it's the same thing with each one. Could it be a firmware problem? I mean I shouldn't have to reboot it every time it goes to sleep. The hardware button on the bottom has no effect. I'm slowly giving up.

Hey, sorry for the delay, been busy.
But yeah I got my new nexus. Rang Asus with some struggle as the serial on the product wasn't matching up on the system. Useful haha
Then they said it would take 29 days to get a fix or replacement.... I then said I'll take it back to where I got it which in my case was Argos.
Took it back told them the problem, girl looked at me completely confused. Think I lost her at bootloader haha. But I might as well tell them how to explain to do a factory reset which I couldn't do anyway. Then got my replacement. Which I'm leaving in the box as I want to be a geeky guy and do a unboxing video this time haha.
I found if you turn the TV on and off again it will work.. no need to get up and pull the HDMI cable
I noticed this issue didn't happen with 5.0 but happened with 5.1.1 so I'm hoping a new update will fix it.
Random question but on 5.1.1 how do we get sideloader? As I can't find it on the store
Doesn't matter was being an idiot.

A sideloader? If you are asking how to sideload, you boot into the recovery and then choose install from sideload, then use the "adb sideload" command.

That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread
LOL
Also, you sideload using ADB
Turn on USB debugging, install the ADB driver on your PC, then use the adb command "adb install apkname.apk"
No need for root or recovery.

This doesn't work on my setup. But pulling the HDMI cable works.
This problem appeared on my Nexus player about a month ago, it was working perfectly until that time.
It looks like a problem with the HDMI CEC. Even if I put my NP in "Never sleep mode" as soon as I turn off the TV it will not then wake when I turn the TV back on.
Well, in my case at least, that is not accurate. When I turn the TV on, nothing appears on the screen nor is there any audio, but the NP is still responding to commands and working. I can blindly start a YouTube video from the highlights section while the TV is still "blanked" and when I toggle the HDMI cable connection the I can see that the NP was functioning "correctly" other than it wasn't outputting anything to the HDMI port.
I would say that the "fault" is just likely to be on the TV not implementing HDMI CEC correctly, but everything WAS working correctly until recently and the only changes are on the Nexus Player side of the equation.

Problem solved?
Before you take the device back to the store, I believe the problem is the TV; even those of you who tried multiple ones. I did the same thing; tried a different TV. However, in my case, it works. When I hooked mine to a newer TV, the device wakes up fine. I read in other forums (searched "HDMI won't wake up device") and to my surprise, there are other forum where people complained about the same with other devices. Apparently, something related to the HDMI port (maybe the version of HDMI?).
I did something a while back, causing my MOJO to get stuck on a boot animation forever. After doing this, I left it alone for like a year or so, so I have absolutely no idea what's wrong.
Boot animation is four colors (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green) moving around in a pattern.
I believe I have some form of TWRP installed, but no USB cable to connect it to my computer.
Edit: I have a USB Mouse and Keyboard, but I'm not sure that would help. Also have some unrootable Androids, which is probably just as useless.

If you haven't sorted this yet...
I have no computer, but I had a bootloop and had the pad dongle in usb 3 port and my keyboard in usb 2 port, and during the attempted boot, the key stoke alt-prt scr-I seemed to interrupt it to start again, I found this hapened while keeping hold of the first to if i let go of 'I' and pressed it again, it forced the reboot, which initially only rebooted it back to boot loop, but then I tried the 3 keys again and then immidiately hit ESC and it went into recovery properly, allowing me to wipe and flash everything again, the mouse and keyboard (2.4ghz wireless in my case) wouldn't work in recovery hence leaving the pad plugged in, but work fine again after re flashing
worth a try...

i was asked to fix this tablet after i gave it as a gift to someone years ago. it looks like they were using a non-standard charger for a while. the complaint was that the battery wouldn't charge. when i tried charging it, it went into a boot loop. i figured the battery was dead so I purchased a new one on ebay and installed it but it did not fix the issue.
the loop is basically the white amazon logo staying on for about 15 seconds then rebooting. i can not enter recovery mode. i can also not get my mac, pc, linux computer to recognize the kindle. i tried using adb to detect it with no luck. i even tried the non-shorting debrick procedure with no luck.
at this point i kind of just want to solve the mystery. i'm also in for $15 for the new battery so it would be nice to have a working tablet for a while. my guess is that it's in this loop because it thinks the battery is bad and that it can't charge it safely. if that were the case, can i reset that? is there anyway to watch the pre-load procedure via a usb port? is there anything i can do to manually reset it if I open the case? does anyone have any ideas? ty in advance.

I think that motherboard is bad and your Fire tablet caused a boot loop.
Hello evryone,
I'm a bit in a pickle here, i got a smart TV (zephir store brand) that costantly loops trough the zephir logo and smarttv logo.
As far as i know the tv fuction perfectly fine until the previus owner tried to performe a firmware update, during the update something went wrong and now we are in this situation.
Till now i have tried the following:
Turning it of and on
Un plug the power and wait for 1h
Tried to perform a factory reset via remote
Tried to perform a factory reset while holding the power button
Tried to perform a factory reset while holding the power button and the volume down button
Tried to perform a factory reset while holding the power button and the volume up button
Tried to connect an usb keyboard
tried to connect via usb to PC
Nothing of the above showed any sing of response at this point the owner has given up on the TV but i still wana try to use it as a second monitor or something, so with all of that i'm coming here to seek the wisdom of the XDA forums. Any and all help would be apriciated form jailbraking to rooting, turning it into a monitor with no android fucionality, how to access the shell file anything at all.
Alright, so I couldn't find any firmware anywhere whatsoever for the Zephir brand. Tried loading a differend brand one for the same logic board. Managed to boot it but the picture was inverted and doubled. Made it to the source selection screen. Attempted to load a different firmware. The tv crashed while loading the booter. Now it won't even turn on the power indicator LED. So I guess it's well and truly cooked.
I could find the board online for like € 40 but I'm pretty sure they come without any firmware or OS? Does anyone know if it'd be worth a try, especially without being able to source the OEM firware?
Does anyone know if there is a way of making just the screen run on an arduino or something, I only need it to run HDMI anyways, 'cause I was planning on using it as a monitor anyways. The logic board is a CV538H-a.
If anyone has a suggestion I'd be glad to give it a go, otherwise i guess I'll bin it.
