Can anyone tell me if my phone is beyond irreparable? It is not booting up no matter how much I try and even resort to hard resets, etc(Volume Down/Up + Power Button). Tried going to the safe mode or the factory settings to hard reset and failed. Tried connecting it to an outlet/pc and screen just goes like this imgur(.)com/a/l6UWB6J
Just remove the ( ) in the pic, sorry I don't know insert image
Go to download mode (Vol-, power button and home button)
If it works you should try rebooting fro there (just press volume down)
If not i recommend you to reinstall the stock rom

My A500 is not booting in Normal mode.. If an SD card is inserted, it is always trying to to go "SD update:cmd recovery" and try to install but fails after 90% and start again the same procedure. If SD card is not inserted, same recovery mode run again but stuck with yellow danger sign.
If i run in safe mode, by pressing power + Vol Up, OS loads. But after login, i found that VOl down is not working.. Is it a case that Vol Down is somehow pressed or malfunctioned inside.. and thats why it is always trying to load recovery mode after each reboot ??
I tried with reset button and also factory reset from safe mode. but no luck !!
Please help..

What rom you running.
What have you done with tab, history.
Android Version:3.2
Kernel version: 2.6.36.3+
Build Number: Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN1
I don't use the Tab that much.. only to check emails, Docs, and may be some games. I installed a new game GT Racing. Then I powered down the tab. After few hours, while i tried to power on again, those issues started to happen..
Try a factory reset:
1. Power Down
2. Make sure the Screen orientation is off (slide to left while landscape mode)
3. Hold down the right volume key (Volume up (+)).
4. Hold down the Power Button.
5. When it buzzes let go of the power but keep hold of the volume up button (+)
rock the screen orientation switch quickly back and forth once.
6. Should say :
Erasing Userdata....
Erasing Cache...

You should now back to factory.
Tried.. But no luck..
I recently (successfully?) rooted my phone, but couldn't make phone calls or texts so I tried factory resetting it. The factory reset worked but I still had the root and I couldnt make calls or texts, so I tried multiple times to unroot it through Odin and it said it worked on my last attempt, but now my phone is stuck on a black screen and a blue LED pops up. I get no vibrations or feedback from my phone. I've tried all the combos to reset, down home power, down power, power home up, home power, all of them. My only hope is to let the phone die of power and recharge it and see if it will work. Does anyone have any ideas? When I plug it in to my computer it wont detect it either.
check your IMEI with *#06#!
when you have no IMEI you need the EFS BackUp...hope you have it.

power button + volume down. When it reboots, quickly get into download mode the same way you would normally. And same as above post, EFS back.. if it's not resolved from factory reset.
I have had this problem.
If you just hold power vol- down it will reboot and when reeboting, just keep holding the same buttons until you get the Download Mode.
If not try holding power vol- up until geeting into recovery, then go trough download mode from there.
You just have to hold the buttons down, it wil maybe restart but just keep holding these buttons trough the restarts.
In download mode you have to do a fresh install with a rom of your choice from Sammobile, orginal firmware.
And remember to never Factory Reset your phone after innstaling ROOT and Recovery.
The best way to do factory reset after these are firmware flash trough Odin.

I kinda did a factory reset after rooting.. how does that affect it? And also i've held those buttons you've said to hold for over 2 minutes and nothing happens :/
So I dropped my G2 with original kitkat ROM, I don't quite remember if I had TWRP installed back. ( I cleaned everything back to stock from Cloudy G2 KK. So now top of my screen is shattered and I can't do **** with it, now it's locked out and I can't enter either a pin code or an email. So I just want to save my files to my PC and I can't enter recovery (If I had one) to mount storage and save my files.
Am I doing something wrong?
I tried going to download mode via USB 3.0 port (holding volume up while connecting the cable)
And I tried going to recovery mode (factory reset) by holding Vol Down + Pwr, after I saw LG logo I pressed and held them again. Or still held Vol Down and only pressed PWR again. And it always just restarts the phone.
What should I do?

After flashing my s4+ i9506 by odin3 , the phone continue starting without wipe data (fact. reset)
how to resolve this ( i need odin mode only )
Power off the phone, hold down the home, volume up, and power button. Let go of the power button when the phone starts to boot. This should take you to recovery mode to perform a factory reset.
Hi!
I've got an Samsung Galaxy S7 since 2017.
Due to an app i wanted to use i tried to Root my phone. It did work but not all apps worked properly so i tried to unroot it.
As it did seem to work but i was still a bit sceptic i decided to do a factory reset to completely empty it.
While doing the factory reset my phone crashed... also found out that i didn't have my OEM allowance on so i can't even enter my phone anymore as it says Custom binary locked by FRP Lock.
I emptied the data / cache and tried to factory reset but it wouldn't do anything.
I tried flashing my phone with the samsung firmware for the S7 with odin, BUT my phone doesn't respond at all.
it just keeps standing on Downloading... do not turn off target. Even if Odin tries to write onto the phone nothing happens, even tho the downloader should respond. Tried different Cables as well. As of now i have no idea what to do left to get in there. i tried for hours, tried different firmwares, but nothing responds... Anyone having tips for me?
When you tried with oden where you in download mode or still on the boot screen with the lock message?
You can't flash if your not in download mode.
to get in download you shoud normally by pressing the Volume Down, Home and Pose On/Off button together for about 3-4 seconds.
Once the Download screen appears, press Volume Up button to continue.
you could give this a try
Press the Power On/Off button and Volume Down button simultaneously for 5-7 seconds as shown below.
Wait for the phone to reboot and start again normally.
See that the Custom Binary Block error message does not pop-up this time.
if not then you could try .
Another useful way to bypass/remove the FRP Lock error is to perform a factory reset on your phone. This can be implemented by booting into the Recovery Mode. To do so:
Long press the Power On/Off, Home and Volume Up button together and was for a screen with multiple options appear before you.
Now use the Volume Down key to scroll down and select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” using the Power On/Off button as shown in the screenshot below.
Wait patiently for the process to get over and for your phone to restart normally.
Note: you will lose all your data and setting stored in the phone after performing a factory/ hard reset.
Be prepared to set-up your phone from scratch after the process is over.
