I currently have a xtrons TM705L
Im looking to root this head unit and have not found help yet.
Can somebody please guide me?
How can I speed up my device and and mods I can use?

I too am looking to root the TM705L. All that I really want to do is replace the startup animation with a custom one that I created to suit my vehicle (although it would be nice to be able to customise the home screen too).
As noobs, I suspect that we simply aren't asking the correct question here :-/

I have an XTRONS head unit for my VW Golf PR98MTVL MCU T8.3.19 and wondering if i can root the unit?
I'm also guessing that XTRONS is just a badge so if there are any alternative names out there or the name of the manufacturer, that would be a help.

Here on xda are a lot of topics for MTCB Head Units, are these the best ones?
On aliexpress are a lot of android head units with Android 4.4.4 or 5.1.1. (Quad Core, 1024x600 etc) with similar designs. I really dont want to buy crap so I ask you all - what is the best option to buy?

I bought a Head Unit from A-Sure and i would like to change the firmware. Everyone talks about MTCB and MTCD firmware and devices. However, i have neither the one nor the other ?
Now i dont know what firmware can i take.

I have the same one from A-Sure. It says it is a Android 5.1.1. I think they just painted it that way
I would like to flash malaysk image but I am not able to get to recovery.

Considering the MCU has the string "KYD" it does seem to be a MTCB/MTCC/MTCD unit.
Dunno how you can check for sure though, hopefully somebody with more experience with these units can chime in

I just got my android car head unit. I installed it correctly and everything is "working". But the software is pretty weird, i almost feels like it is using 2 separate operating systems. Some functions don't seem to interact properly with each other. The resolution of some programs is screwed up aswell. So

You should give some information about the MCU in this unit.
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a T3L head unit from AliExpress from a seller called "srnubi". All of their links directed me to another manufacturer called "jansite". However, neither the seller nor the manufacturer can provide me with the MCU and firmware for the unit that I'm looking for.
In addition, I'm also looking for the MCU and firmware for the T3L head unit to have as a backup for future use or for any updates that may be available. If anyone has any tips or suggestions on where to find this information, I would be grateful for your help.
I'm hoping someone out there might have some experience with T3L head units or know where to find information on their manufacturer, MCU, and firmware. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
