Possible? or not?
Can it be possible to connect my thermostats with computer? Is there available any software to connect it with computer or laptop?
I installed Win 10 Pro 64 Bit. I had wi-fi issues before it but after that, I had no problems.

How do you get this damn phone to connect to my Windows 7 laptop, windows does not find drivers for my device ?????
WM 6.5 and Windows 7 no talky to each other.
wont connect under Windows Mobile Connect, can only get the SD Card to come up in Windows 7 Explorer.
When I change the USB to PC settings on the SNAP to Active Sync then Windows 7 cant find the drivers ??
Windows Mobile Connect just says no device connected, under device damager it comes up as unknown device....
Please help a noob out
have you had the mobile device center installled in your PC?
check your AV software... on my laptop the firwall of the Mcafee block it. only when I turn it of, I can get it to sync
hi guys, thanks. Yes I do have Mobile Device Center installed and I will try checking my firewall settings.
Just want to copy the pics from the camera album to my laptop. Would suck if I have to move these pics in the phone from the phones memory to the SD card and then link to my laptop to copy them.
well I don't have W7 so I can't say. but you can launch the camera app, go to the options and change where the pics are saved.
Have you got the 'Enable faster data sync' ticked or unticked in the settings>USB to PC?
That should not be a incompatibility issue : mine works well with 7.
It just does not pop up the way ActivSync does. You have to click the WMDC icon in the process bar on your PC.
Hi guys
Sorry i did not reply sooner, got this working now.
Under device damager, it comes up as unknown Device.
Updated these drivers and all is working now.
Thanks guys

what drivers did you use? i have this same phone but cannot for the life of me get this to sync! can you post a link where you got the drivers from?
also, are you using 32bit or 64bit Windows 7?
try going to the htc website, support page and see if you can download new drivers for windows 7. If they dont have them try using the windows vista drivers if they are there.
Where to find driver?
I am having the same problem.
Windows 7 device manager can not find drivers for the HTC S521, and I can not find any on the HTC website.
I would appreciate if somebody could share a link.
Thanks
Start, Settings, Connections, More, USB to PC, take off the check mark (square has to blank), OK

Connect HTC to PC, Start ActiveSynch, on your HTC go to Start, Settings, Connections, More..., USB to PC, take off the check mark (square remains blank), OK

What I have is Lenovo N500, 4 GB of memory, 2 GHz dual core, Windows 7 64 bit, conexant high definition smart audio 221, 250 GB hard disk, Windows 7 experience rating 3.5.
I have upgraded my blue Angel to WM6.5_21888_EngV2. A. Before this I have the Windows Mobile 6.1. With both these operating systems, I have not been able to connect to my wireless LAN
is there a Walk through for troubleshooting wireless LAN connection
Any suggestions welcome?

Yes use my RC5!
okay first of all I am trying to upgrade the radio ROM. I downloaded the Radio 1.15.00 Update utility.
Tried running it in Windows 7, in compatibility mode, and I got the usual message that this does not work with this device. So I have tried the same update utility using a virtual PC in in Windows XP mode, and in that the program won't even run.
Any suggestions please?

Okay, I have already upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5 using the Windows XP virtual mode, so I am familiar with the process. However when I tried to upgrade, and I have put the new ROM and your Windows Mobile 6.5 version in the correct directory, the installation program does not register any programs being there to upgrade. There is no ROM listed, and there is no Windows Mobile 6.5 listed. Any suggestions?

If you can connect it to win7 pc, that should be ok to flash wp7.
maybe you can take a look at the tutorial how to flash a wp rom.
You have installed the Windows Mobile Device Center on your PC?
If the phone change from "serial" to "usb", the connection is working!

Also, just to add something here, if you are trying to connect the HD2 in bootloader mode to XP or lower, you need ActiveSync 4.5, if Vista or Higher (Maybe even Windows 8) you need the software stated above.

This not the point!
The HD2 is a Windows Phone and if you will connect the phone in bootloader mode with the PC, you need the Device Center or ActiveSync on your computer.

Guys, I installed that rom that was ported from the nexus 5 and now I can not connect the nexus on the computer, I've tried everything and nothing works, any solution?
Thanks
I am using the same port and I can connect to my pc with no problem. What computer you have? Windows 7 or Win 8? Or Mac? 32bit or 64bit? Did you install Nexus 4 drivers?
Also try enabling debugging mode. Settings > developer options > check USB debugging mode. Then reconnect to your computer.
Edit: if you don't see developer options > settings > About > keep tapping build number until you see a message developer option enable.

Your question is not much information. Tell us more, for example, does your PC have Android SDK installed or ADB and fastboot installed? If yes, have you tried to update to the latest version? And have you check in Developer Options to see whether USB debugging box checked?

Do you have a back up on the phone memory you can flash? If not use dropbox to get one on and reflash from that
if your problem is that you phone doesn't show up in windows explorer,
did you make sure you ticked 'media storage' in settings->storage -> three dots in the upper right corner -> USB connection?

Tried every way but the pc does not recognize it as a portable device
Already tried: Updating drivers, install the drivers manually, install and uninstall the adb driver.
Even with debugging enabled, it does not appear there in the area of notifications.
Any idea?
Open the nexus 4 device properties, delete/uninstall drivers, and install these

Open device manager right click your phone under android device then properties -> drivers tab -> update drivers -> browse my computer for driver software -> let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer -> next tab. it should recognize the phone now.

Use Wug's toolkit and uninstall all the previous drivers as stated in the toolkit's driver installation tab then do a fresh install as the recommended method in it while your phone connected to a different port then you used earlier. This shuld certainly work.
