use xposed alpha 4 apk for controlling xposed modules

Framework installed, but not active!
Hi! I am using Yu Yureka running Android 5.1.1. I have rooted the device, flashed the arm64 version and installed the Xposed (3.0_alpha4) apk. The app however says "Xposed framework Version 86 is installed, but not active. Check log for details". Any solutions for that? The logs in the framework indicates an error saying no such file found. Anybody else having this problem?

An update: In other forums, I have found an advice to delete a file at root/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf (using a root explorer) and reboot. I find no file to delete there!
Space in the system seems to be the issue
Guys, I deleted a few useless system apps->removed the framework and rebooted->reinstalled the framework....and Xposed is active!
I have tested this only on AOSP Extended(mido)
Everyone try and test on other roms and tell if its working.

I know that bro that we get most of the features inbuilt in roms and other can be added using apps and magisk....
but not all roms provides most of the features and also neither apps nor magisk can fulfill the needs of Xposed framework etc.
There are lots of Xposed modules whose alternative still not found...
For example adaway don't blocks all ads system wide as it only modifies the hostfile so thier still space left for ads even if it is blocked by the hostfile...
MinMinGuard removes the ad space which are left by Adaway.
There are lots of example but I can't explain them all to you.

xposed framework for nougat is only for 7.1.x(sdk25) for now
I'm facing so many force closes, it's not that stable i think.

It's a substratum theme problem. Im almost 100% sure.
Several apps keeps force closed when xposed is on.
(YouTube, Nova Launcher, Greenify, etc)
Turned off xposed by Xposed Installer option then everything alright. I think i'll wait for the stable official one.
Current rom : latest RR
Greenify, adaway and background playback is not working
Now that xposed has arrived for Oreo share which xda approved modules you have tested and I'll create a working/non working list. Thanks.
All xposed talk is welcome. Off topic is ok as well. ?

I got this to work. I installed the framework via Magisk, and then I used the Xposed APK installer found in the Magisk thread.
It installs fine through Magisk on the XL 2, just make sure you have the correct Xposed Installer version installed before you install Xposed through Magisk.

The one in this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268
It's installed and says it's active, but also says it's not compatible with the architecture. I can enable modules, but none of the few I have right now I've really tested, so I'm not sure if they're actually working.

If you installed systemless xposed then you need the material xposed to be working if i am not wrong

Well, I'll get things started and say that "Lockscreen Mods" seems to kind of work; I'm just unable to set custom icons. Double tap to sleep on the lockscreen does work.
X Screen Stabilizer also appears to work just fine.
Does anyone know if the SnapTools Xposed module works? I haven't had a chance to even set my 2 XL up just yet otherwise I would have tested myself.
Let me know if anyone has tried it! :good:

The description for the Xposed Magisk module said to install topjohnwu's specific modified version of the material installer:
Please install my modified XposedInstaller(3.1.4) to properly detect Systemless Xposed. The APK is signed by my personal key, you might need to uninstall other versions before installing mine.

It seems that if you install Xposed before installing this APK, it won't detect Xposed properly, but installing the APK before installing Xposed seems to work.
This is only if you're installing through Magisk, as I haven't tried installing it conventionally through TWRP.
I was able to install by installing the xposed app then letting the app download and install the framework.

What steps did you take to get it working? I haven't used it before, so it could very well just be user error. I'd like to confirm if it does work.
Snap Tools works for me too
Where do I find snaptools? Its not showing up in the closed app when I search it
Does installing this on Oreo 8.1 Pixel 2s break the SafetyNet (Android pay, banking apps, and etc)?
Hi Guys,
We should make a list of xposed modules which are really working with the xposed on oreo. As we know the new beta21 is out now.
Greenify
Statusbarsleep
OnePlusExtension
I have used these modules on Open beta 21 on Op3t
Minminguard works, but for Amplify is a bit strange. All menus are working, but very few alarms and wakelocks appear.

Search for "[O]GravityBox" (without Quotes) it should appear as soon as you type "[O" it's still in the beta so maybe you also have to change your settings in Xposed to be able to install Beta Modules
