Jack problem with lineage 13 - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm using my nexus 10 with lineage 13 (nigthly without the reboot problem).
But I have the jack issue, no sound when I plug the headphone.
One solution is to reboot with the headphone plugged.
But is there any other solution like an App or a anything else?
Thanks

Problem,with my audio jack

2 weeks ago my Optimus 7 suddenly had a problem with his Audio Jack. Whenever I plugged in some Headphones with 4 connectors(for microphones or/and buttons) my Optimus 7 restarts instantly. I tried other headphones as well, but only ones with only 3 connectors(without microphone/buttons) worked. Does someone has the same problem and maybe has a fix for it? It annoys me a lot, because I cant use my headphones anymore.
Thanks in advance!

Headphone jack only outputs right audio

Hi guys
After a year and a half of use I finally have an issue with my nexus 6p.
The headphone jack seems to be only outputing right audio. The mic works, volume control works. I did try cleaning the audio port, managed to extract some pocket lint. It looks all clean, but no left audio no matter which headphones I tried.
Now I am not sure if this happened after the latest security update or if this is a software issue. All phone audio only plays right audio.
I don't normally use the 3.5mm jack that much. Any ideas?
Everything is stock.
Thanks.
Nobody had this issue ? No possible causes? No possible solutions?

CDLA Headphones not detecting with Lineage OS 14.1

I cant seem to have the CDLA headphones work with the Lineage OS ROM - the sound always comes throuhg phone speaker. did not install any Magisk or xposed frameworks either.
the Bluetooth speaker work. Does anyone have a similar issue and how can it be addressed?
Model: Le Eco Le Pro 3 LEX727
ROM: Lineage OS 14.1
I experience this too and there are reports from others in the main LOS 14 thread. As reported in the below message, headphones work for me when they are plugged in at reboot.

I have the same issue, the problem is the device doesn't recognize when you plug-out the headphones so sound is still being routed to them. The only way i found to "fix" it was reboot without headphones or using the app musicabout and uncheck the headphones detection.
Changing SELinux to permissive fixed it for me.

I'm stuck in 21/07/2017 because i can't update due a battery problem. In this update the only problem i'm having is with the headphone microphone very low, i can't answer calls with them.
I have the latest update installed but it doesn't recognize headphones. How to make a bug report?
haedphone
I have the same. In order for the headset to connect you need to reset the phone to do. And to unplug the reset. My system is LineageOS 14.1
Yes, but how do we report this to developers because it was apparently working last month from what I see at XDA posts.
with this application you can hear the sound in the headphones

CDLA Earphone Audio Crackle When Screen is On (RR-v5.8.4)

Got my phone a few days ago. Unlocked the bootloader and flashed Resurrection Remix v5.8.4.
Camera is barely working (constant 'Could not connect to camera' error message), so I used Google Camera Instead (Panorama mode always out of focus, seems to be a common problem).
The touch screen has some problem recognizing touches near the top corners ( approx. 0.3 inch to the top). It's mentioned in another thread that EUI 20s fixed the problem but I'm not sure if the other custom ROMs contain the fix.
The bigger issue is I'm getting crackles/electrical noises while using the CDLA earphones with the screen on. It happens for a split of a second every few seconds and gets rather annoying. The relief at the moment is it does not occur when the screen is turned off. Audio is also fine when using the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter with normal headphones.
I'm wondering if this is a software issue (with RR?) or the earphone 's problem.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
I just plugged my CDLA headphones into my Pro 3 running omnirom and have the same issue (using Google play music app as a player). Minor clicks/crackles with the screen on. Must be something with this family of 7.1.x roms.
I am running the Resurrection Remix v5.8.4. and have the same problem hearing cracking noises randomly while talking on the phone or listening to music using the original LeEco CDLA OEM earphones. I think the audio driver of the Resurrection Remix v5.8.4. maybe causing the issue here. Hopefully will the Android 8.0 update with the new ROM would fix that.
Well, flash back to eUI. Still having those issues? If so, it sounds like a hardware issue. Maybe the ROM didn't flash correctly.

Nexus 6P speaker and Mic troubleshoot

Hi! I've recently been facing a issue with my Nexus 6p running Android 8.1.0 Oreo Stock. My phone's speakers and mic aren't working. When I connect a headphone jack the audio is able to come through just fine.
The issue started when I had flashed a aptX enabler module in magisk while running Pixel Experience custom ROM. However, once I lost audio, I flashed everything back to stock but alas I still don't have my phone's speakers or mic working which makes me think this might be a hardware issue. Any ideas what seems to be wrong? Any help will be appreciated.
