No, you can't downgrade your phone using local upgrade because it won't let you. You can either use the MsmDownload tool or unlock your bootloader and use the fastboot from here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6t-t3862516/amp/ to downgrade your phone.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to downgrade anyway?

In 9.0.7 i was happy ? with excellent battery same aps same usage 9.0.12 not good at 9.0.7 in my case

I only use 9.0.11 and 12 i got 7 hours usage in 24 hours in day that awesome for me so i do not know how was battery in 9.0.7. What I want to say if there is an hour difference of use is not a big problem

controllerboy's guide. But if you don't need root I'd advice you to update to B09 and stay stock. Oreo comes in April anyways.
If you will unlock, install maybe Slim4 or just B09 with jojoc battery mod
why you use it without a simcard?and how come you dont know where to find a guide to root your axon?sorry, realy frustrate me.
but i think the best is MIUI 9 rom,but it need updates

OnePlus 6t T-Mobile unlocked converted oxygen 10.3

Hi, I have a T-Mobile version of OnePlus 6t and it is unlocked. I converted to global room but Can I update to oxyen os 10.3?
I saw posts that T-Mobile version needs to wait T-Mobiles OTA but I am not sure this applied to post-unlocked one.

I went from 9.0.17 to 10.3 with a local upgrade - all seems to work fine. Except for Google certification that will not be available till TMobile release A10 and certify the device. So some applications will not show in Play Store (Like Netflix) and GPay will not work.

Yes, you can. You better install Netflix BEFORE upgrading. The reason is Netflix deployment is not one APK - you will need to use 3d party to deploy Netflix apk.

For those of us on converted TMO devices, you can only use full packages. The incremental will fail Everytime.
What steps did you use to root? Did you do it after installing A10?

May I ask, when you went from 9.0.17 to 10.3, did you use Oxygen updater? I have converted twice now from A9 to A10 and both times had to msmtool back to A9.17 due to various issues. I would like to update to A10, but don't want to have an issue and have to re-wipe everything and go through the ordeal of unlocking bootloader again as well as copying all my files back to my phone and setting things back up.
Did you have any issues with your upgrade or was it a seemless experience? I realize there is Netflix and google play (I do use Netflix but no Gpay).
If it worked good for you I may consider going to 10.0.3 from 9.0.17 in the next day or so. I realize the upgrading is all subjective, just curious

Worked well for me using oxygen updater and local upgrade option. No wipe or data loss for me. I am not root and my bootloader is locked. I did not see any issues with a10 apart Google certification that will be fixed when TMobile release a10 for this device

I just updated to the latest 10.0.3 last night. There were no major hiccups and I followed the ultimate guide method 2. There were some Magisk modules that were incompatible such as (OOS Doze) and my sms/MMS with Google messenger stopped working. The messagenr actually resolved itself and is now working and my Netflix works along with Disney plus. I am using the module safetypass to pass safetnet

Not true I went from 9. 17 to 10.01 and Incremental to 10.3. With no issues. Your mileage may vary.
I'm on 9.0.17 converted TMobile to international, can I take the 10.3.0 update , I'm understanding I'll most likely lose Google pay which I don't use anything else?
I went from 9.17 converted to International to 10.3, then rooted.
Yes you will lose Google Pay and Play Store Certification.

Notified I have an update to Android 10

So, I have a T-Mobile branded 6t. I was running Havoc OS 2.9 Pie. My device is full unlocked(bootloader AND sim). I decided I wanted to wipe everything and msm back to stock then go to OOS and then back to Havoc 2.9 Pie. I've done this so many times its easy lol. But the weird this is, I had something unexpected happen. After I msm to OOS, I did a local update as usual to the last version of Pie. After everything was successful, before I flashed twrp, I got a notification that OOS 10 was ready to install. Not a scam/virus/malware. My question is this, what would have happened if I upgraded to Over the air update instead of local? Remember, I have a T-Mobile branded 6t

Nobody is answering my question lol. My phone is T-Mobile branded, so will the OOS 10 update work? Normally we can't get an update notification because its branded and not from Oneplus, so how was I able to get this notification?
I read earlier this month that someone had tried to ota the way you're asking about and it didn't work. From what I remember they had to msm back.
I've been on 9.0.17 with 0 issues and got the update notice yesterday. I DLed the full update available here and did the local upgrade following the instructions in the ultimate guide. It went ok. My only issues are ctsProfile false and the Play store not certified. I would have rather stayed on 9.0.17. I'm not sure what those issues would mean for you going to Havoc.

Global conversion running android 11?

I acquired a t-mobile one plus 6t last month that is carrier unlocked and I have a few questions concerning converting it to global. First question is if anyone is running the android 11 stable release on a converted 6t? If so have you ran into any issues?
I do have a bootloader unlock token but I found the method that doesn't require one. Does it matter whether I use the conversion method that requires the token or not? Any pros vs cons of the different methods? Thanks for any input you can offer, it's greatly appreciated.

Battery drained much quicker than oos10.
Better wait for more reliable battery release.

Is your 6t converted from T-Mobile to global? Was you using a custom recovery to flash and did you do a total wipe for a clean install?
I read one report of battery drain after a dirty flash but they said after a factory reset it seemed to improve. I am still running TMobile firmware so I think I will go ahead and convert but only upgrade to oos 10 so I don't end up having to downgrade over battery drain. Did you end up downgrading back to oos 10?

Yes, but not for the EU version.
Welp, if it is safe I'll give it a try.
The EU version is the KB05BA? WWhat do those numbers mean? My phone says KB2005 although it was KB2003 before the ****ty update.

To my knowledge, you can flash any of the different variants (KB05AA,-BA,-BD,...) on any phone and they'll work.
So you can use the roll back zip, which takes you back to OOS 11.11, and then install the version you want (KB05BA) of OOS 11.13.
I don't know what they mean, but I assume KB is for kebab, and AA is for the global variant, BA is for the EU variant, and BD is for the Indian variant.
But that naming convention seems to have gone out the window with OOS 12.

It is a pleasure to inform you that I was able to rollback to Android 11. At first I used the EU MSM Tool but I got the DDR error, so I tried the International one and it worked without any issues. I must admit I was pretty nervous tbh. I used to do this a lot on my xiaomi mi max 2, but this phone is quite expensive to end up with a brick xd.

So I went to check what my phone thinks it is (I'm also on OOS 12) and to my surprise ro.boot.ddr_type doesn't exist!
So, now I'm asking "Why do you think you are now ddr5 (a physical impossibility)?"
