Hi,
Am using my Note 3 (SM-N900V) with KitKat OS only for watching videos and listening to music (No Internet, WiFi, or Phone).
There is some bloatware that would like to remove and have used Application Manager to stop them and does not cause any problems but have to do each time I start.
Recently found "[Tool][Universal Debloater][02.03.2017] Brought To You By The Phronesis Team...." https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/tool-brought-to-phronesis-team-t3566156
and am wondering if anyone has any experience using it?
Thanks
Ken

Hi all, I come from a Note 2 which I loved, but it was asking for a replacement..
So I have recently bought a Note 4 SnapDragon (N910F), It came with LoliPop 5.01,
LP5 is not that bad, but I haven't been able to make Xpose run on it..
So I decided to go back to KK4.4, tried several 4.x ROMs, but the only only one that has worked so far is the X-Note Rom.
(Some KK4.4 I tried to download just are not available anymore, or they didn't work on my phone,
others asked for Samsung activation, the download audio trick doesn't work)
Now (with KK4.4) Xposed is running flawlessly (same as on my old note2), but..
I'm having some issues with screen lag when writing or browsing, and a factory mode message every reboot
(tried the rm efs subdir, but it just isn't there)
I also have no clue how to make my home button wake up the phone (with LP5 it was doing it)..
So besides that, I would like you guys to recommend me a ROM for my note 4, that just works fine with Xposed.
I don't care if kk4.4 or lp5..
Thanks in advance,

I've had the same issue with every Rom both kitkat and lollipop (factory mode). It's your WiFi. If you reboot your phone with WiFi switched on this message appears. I think the problem is Knox related. The only solution ihr found is to wait twenty seconds after your pin code and then switch WiFi on.

Actually every deodexed Lollipop is xposed ready so you are free in your choice. All of available roms at Snapdragon section are good so it depends what you want. Some are more design oriented, other tend be as lightweight, as smooth as possible and so on. So it is difficult to suggest you something with just xposed compability Provide more info what is important for you or just look around in snapdragon development section
Hello everyone.
I have an SM-N9005. I tried to use Soundcamp on ROM DarkLord Note 5 Full Port RC2.1 and i found out that every time i tried to open it, after some seconds of loading, it Force Closes. After some research i found out that this might be connected with SoundAlive. When i tried to enter the SoundAlive settings from stock music player, it also Force Closes. Do you have any idea how i could restore the SoundAlive functionality so i could use Soundcamp?
Thanks in advance!
I'm having the same problem, but I think this happened because the device recognize itself as note 5 (sm-n920c) which have 64bit cpu. when you install the app, it load the this version which is not compatible with the n9005.
Same go with the new s note app.
As above and you can use the included Viper4 Android sound mod .
Thank you very much for your answers @golalmo and @JJEgan!
Greetings,
I have recently purchased my wife a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" tablet (model SM-T230NU). We are pretty happy with the tablet however I would love to get rid of all the bloat that Samsung adds into the OS.
Years ago I installed a custom ROM on a ASUS tablet that not only upgraded the OS to a more recent Android release, but also was clean stock android install. I am interested in a recommendation for a stable
Android ROM for the Galaxy Tab where I am not loosing any functionality. The Galaxy Tab ships with Android version 4.4.2. I'd also be interested in going to Lollipop or Marshmallow if there is a stable version available.
Appreciate any recommendations!
Cheers,
Torbuck

Hi,
My Tab4 SM-T230NU is only booting up to the Tab4 screen and just hangs there.. I downloaded the Acheron rom and a few others as well to try to get this working again.. I have installed the latest Odin software and the USB drivers, but can't seem to figure out how to go about installing the Rom using this. I also tried the Kies software, and it tries to connect to it, but never does, so that's out.. I also can't get it to go to "recovery" mode using the pwr,vol up,Home buttons, but it does go into the "download" mode.. There's no way for me to turn on USB Debugging in the developer options, so can I still install this rom using Odin? Thanks for any assistance.
Have a note 5 with rooted stock 6.0.1. Smart switch opens on this device.
Have a note 3 with Resurrection Remix and Open Gapps installed - working fine. Smart switch will install on this device, but when ibtrybto open it, it flashes, closes, and I very briefly and see a toast that says ”signing key is mismatched between apk and firmware". It might say more than that, but that's what I can make out as the toast is only half a second or less.
And help to fix this?
Same Issue
I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to switch from a S5 to a S7e. I'm running CM13 13.0-20160412-Nightly-klte and GApps.
I was able to screenshot the error message.
Any help please? TIA
I'm quite sure that this won't work, because it needs a Samsung framework (Samsung rom).

I thought about that, but it says Android, iPhone, Blackberry as the origin platform choices. I wold take that to mean that it can be any flavor of Android, whether pure, CM, HTC, Sony, or Huawai.
I can't think of a reason that it wouldn't work because of that.
Anyone found a fix to this yet? I'm running an S5 with a marshmallow resurrection remix and Gapps as well...
I'm having the same problem and the solution?

no need to be so territorial, doesn't change the question if any solutions were identified for note 3 I can try them on note 2
I installed custom rom AISP to a note 4, one bug only, if switched OFF not standby the battery runs out 3 days, if battery removed replaced its allright, so unusable.
If I now flash the samsung s4 am I likely to have the same problem,.
(I loaded loads of other roms on note 4 but all had bad bugs, freexing camera, bluetooth not work etc,)
May I have a recommendation for a custom rom for s4 if anyone has one loaded with everything working. Ideally pie or orio .
If anyone has found a rom which works properly on note 4, grateful if ud recommend.
