Hi.
Everytime i flash decrypt.zip on PIE based Stock ROM MAC address of my WI-FI card is changed to zeros and WI-FI is not working (obviously).
Probably it has something with vendor partition which decrypt.zip changes.
I didn't checked how things are on custom roms because of their early development and general buggyiness.
decrypt.zip is working fine on pie custom roms (Tested on ArrowOS)...

I'm using SD615 variant .. ...
First make sure twrp is latest i.e 3.2.1 ..
secondly wipe everything except sd and otg
Try flashing some other rom ... i'd suggest aex or bootleggers ..
let me know what happens then
best of luck :good:

yes dude each and every one is working properly !!
Ok follow this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...601kl-t3333482
ASUS upgraded the firmware for our device recently ... follow this so you get on the latest bootloader (which i'm guessing you have unlocked)
then try wiping then flashing then hit me again if problem arises

2018? Im on stock rom already flashed through stock recovery. I flashed those custom roms on latest 2196 firmware also tried that on older firmwares still no luck
ok then try this ... use adb sideload to install the rom .. google it its pretty easy to do .. then tell me what happens
i tried all custom roms and my phone was fully dead but i managed to get it alive again
here's the solution
after installing any custom rom
go to mount and mark on system
then go to file manager from setting in twrp
open system>etc>firmware then delete the first three folders, i have stock rom now i can't remember wat exactly it's name
enjoy your rom

Hello!
I updated my OP5T to 5.1.5 and was expecting to be able to flash Resurrection Remix GSI. But after booting up the phone did not detect my SIM card and was unable to connect to a WiFi network.
Is there anything special to consider when installing such a GSI on the OP5T? Or are there any tutorials on how to do it?
Thanks in advance!
Wi-Fi and Mobile Networks not working
Hello, I've seen your message about WiFi and mobile networks not working after updating. I'm facing the same problem and this began when I updated from Oreo to Pie (through OTA and phone wasn't even OEM unlocked then). The service centre says they've fixed it but the problem arises after using the phone for one or two days.. Did you solve the issue? if so, how? I'm tired of this shuttle game with the service centre.
I went thru every single thread, i have the latest TWRP 3.2.1, so no Error 7.
The ROM's install (i've tried Unofficial/RR/PixelExperience/BootLeggers/Cosmic/AOSIP) and the install goes smooth, but all stuck on Bootloop!
What on earth am I doing wrong? I can't find anyone mentioning specific Kernel or where to get an OREO specific Kernel.
Is there a Boot.img ? do i need to flash it as well? (no one says so in instructions)
The last rom i've got is the Official 7.1.2 which boots without a problem.
Note: But only the 20171025 build, nothing after that even of 7.1.2 doesn't boot (just has bootloop)
Device Specs as Appear on the back: YU4711, H/W ver V2.0, S/W ver: V0.0.9_171215, (2+8) GB
Have you updated the modem from cyanogen 14.0 then try again.
BTW you should made in discussion.
Flash your Phone with stock ROM
YU_YU4711_SW_V0.0.9_HW_V1.0_171215_2016012715.zip .
This can resolve your problem.

It have some other files also including android 5... So flash this
And then flash twrp
Reflash the entire stock firmware *except system, userdata, recovery, cache* through fastboot, then you should be good to go.
ask in Q/A thread

I honestly don't see the logic in putting the phone back into Stock ROM of Android 5.1.1, when I can use it with 7.1.2 without a problem and only flashing of new ROM's is an issue.
But I have found something that may give more information, this is HW_V2 , so i'm assuming this device is the YU YUNIQUE 2 which is basically identical but with 2GB ram instead of 1GB ram.

As I mentioned, I can boot into 7.1.2 (that's LineageOS), but the latest i'm able to boot is 25/10/2017 and any build after, goes into bootloop.

I resolved the issue after way too much digging around, the issue was flashing the specific NON-HLOS.bin and now I can flash v8.x and v9.x roms

You need to flash it using: fastboot flash modem non-hls.bin
Then reboot and flashing of the ROM should go correctly and for me atleast, it booted up.
bluetooth or wifi and cellurlar network aren't working after flashing twrp and roms...
I've also restored stock roms with fastboot method.
anyone has a fix or solution?
flash deluxekernel, Maybe solve wifi at least.

I believe it will solve in the next builds, if it's not a "temporary" problem with your phone when installing ROMs. Other than that, did she solve any of your problems? If it persists in all customs you install, check the stock ROM to continue with these errors.(Google translator)

It worked at first, but after erasing partitions (also a-b thing), restoring and stuff bluetooth and second simcard are not working also not on stock. On latest Bootleggers rom, I think. Is there a official Motorola recovery tool that works or do I have to restore stock ROM and then the Motorola tool??

What's the issue you are experiencing?
I fixed it by flashing a custom ROM but now my J7 doesn't recognize my SIM-Card (using Clear_Pie ROM right now) should I just flash back to original ROM?

You could always just add that line to the build.prop.

You probably need the patched secure storage libs or the secure storage magisk module.
