Lineage for OP6 on 6t? + Stats - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Anyone tried running the LineageOS build meant for the 6 on the 6t? At https://stats.lineageos.org/model/fajita it looks like there's been some movement back in December but nothing recent. Anyone know who the dev for it even is?

I ran OP6 build a while back, it ran fine, only minus the FP sensor obviously. It would definitely be nice to get a dedicated 6T build. Im definitely waiting for a Lineage build.

I just attempted installing the non-official 6t version of lineage. Generally seemed to work OK, except for making and receiving calls (which I thought was important for a phone), so I am trying something else.

Best/Most Stable ROM for OP5

As much as I like Oxygen OS, I do miss the Pure Oreo of the Pixel (which I used when my phone was RMA'd for the Netflix Patch).
Can anybody recommend a stable ROM where everything works as intended and is a bit more stock Oreo (Google Dialer, Google camera, white quick actions, etc.?)
I don't need root or anything else, I just want a stable ROM.
LineageOS, i think that is the most stable
Validus.
LOS is good, but still has a few quirks.
Codename Phoenix. Stable....dude doesn't even need a Thread in xda and its popular.
Omnirom is quite clean, it works without any issues
So I tried LineageOS but it seems that the issues I had with my Pixel weren't phone related and rather ROM related. The biggest issue being that auto brightness is complete trash in Oreo, it seems to only auto brightness a bit from whatever you have set, it won't auto brightness from complete 0% to 100% like Nougat did. Anybody else have this issue?
I am using crDroid. I find this smooth and better battery.

Snapchat/Instagram Camera issues in Oreo Roms

So far the only Oreo Rom, I've flashed was the xxx-no limits one however the Snapchat and Instagram cameras are Zoomed in and audio is very low. It feels like they're functioning at a different aspect ratio. I wanted to know if there's a fix or if all the other Oreo roms have the same issue?
P.S My first time posting so I'm sorry in advance if I did something wrong
This is there on every OOS based ROM, including OOS itself. Not sure what they did with the cameras on those apps and why it's not fixed.
Yes, thats why i reverted back to nougat. Probably its not optimized for op5 oreo...
I hope they get it fixed soon, It's the only reason I'm not upgrading to Oreo

Quick question on what to do with my H910

I bought a H910 V20 off ebay and have been looking at the different options. I've flashed the Gamma Kernel with Lineage OS 15.1 and like how it's running but have a two general questions.
Is BoredSign compatible and if not is there a more recent version of the Signboard Widgets app? Or are they just the same? I'm having a lot of issues with the SignBoard in lineage, particularly it being unresponsive when the phone is asleep which seems to undermine it's inherent functionality.
Are the advantages of the gamma kernel significant? If I wanted to go back to the Oreo stock(or alpha omega rom whatever you guys recommend) with the MK2000 kernel am I going to have a performance hit? Of course this question isn't as big of a deal if I can get the sign board working better.
I like LineageOS and I feel like the optimized kernel has serious advantages, though I like the idea of the sign board and it just doesn't seem like it works quite properly on LineageOS yet. Since I just got the phone I'd at least like to try to get used to using the thing before I accept a sort of buggy version of it.

Which ROM has the best Fingerprint working?

So, many ROMs are out with Fingerprint working.. for anyone who tried some of those ROMs, which ROM has fingerprint working better?
They are all using the same patches. I've tried Pixel Experience and Omni, didn't really notice a difference between the two really. Honestly though, other than sometimes having to lift and press right back down sometimes, I might be tempted to say recognition might have been better than OOS with a single print registered.
Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it's off to a very good start. It definitely still has it's bugs.
I have been using carbonrom since yesterday. Fingerprints seem to work equal to stock. I do not think you will notice much of any bugs. I am sure in time things will get better but even stock sometimes I had to lay my finger down twice. Much better finger print than the sony xzp.
Sidenote: I used carbonrom on my Sony xzp with microg some apps like CNN,credit karma and some others needed some shoe honing to get them to work without gapps. This newest carbonROM seems flawless. I sure there will be dragons but so far things are quite smooth.
My OP6t arrived today from Amazon {upgrading from my OP5 which I've owned since new}
Very much undecided on which custom rom to flash. Booted the OP6t up earlier and must say I do like the look of the OOS. But then again I'm running CNP on the OP5.
Decisions decisions.. ?
The stock ROM debloated with xXx is great so long as you don't mind not using microg. I was using the beta 7 for a week or so until the fingerprint patches came out.
I'm using the latest build of Pixel Experience. The FP works quite well. Still a little glitchy at times but not bad! I was on OB 7.

How's LineageOS on the OnePlus5?

Since software updates are now EOL on the OnePlus5 in the next year I'll probably be jumping onto a custom rom.
Out of curiosity how is Lineage 17 on the oneplus 5 are there any severe issues currently?
I'll probably ride out oxygen OS until android 11 is more common but I'm thinking this is where I'm moving to after.
I tried it for a day and it was really good, lots of features, but my problem was that the stock camera was not working, and the available cameras never worked properly with all the features (HDR, 60fps for video, slow motion, etc) so ended up going back to OOS.
I've been on LIneage 17.1, the build from 15th Feb and everything works wonderfully EXCEPT for the fact that my Oneplus 5 tends to die at a random points - it shuts down, black screen, the only option is then to hold the power button to fire it up again. That's quite a significant fail!
To be fair, it's a phone I received second hand and I never ran the last OOS (Oxygen) build for it that came from the manufacturer so not sure if there's an underlying problem with the phone or battery itself.
My next step is probably to revert to the last OOS build and see if the same situation occurs. If it doesn't occur again with OOS I'll probably go back Lineage once it gets to Android 11 or 12.

Just to put an update to my earlier post: the battery on my OnePlus 5 phone was a dud - I've replaced the battery, and the Oneplus 5 as well as Lineage 17.1 have been working like a dream! I highly recommend Lineage 17.1
