But how to do this?
Phone is running something calling FACTORY BINARY - but what to do to bypass frp, and get back to stock FW?
Thank you

Did you factory reset in settings first?
??? I bought it on a fleamarket.
And after powering it up this happens.
There is no way to go to settings and reset them.
Wiping data partition and booting it says unauthorized try to reset device. Login to google account last used...
Tried a few things i saw on youtube but everything is for an older fw.
Google assist trick while setup wifi is no longer working...

I thought you said you'd installed the factory (combination) firmware?
This should bypass FRP and allow it to boot to the OS and access settings or are we getting wires crossed here?
Thats the Problem...
I flashed stock firmware again.
The same that was installed.
So i can reflash this factory binary fw again.
But there was only a screen shiwing hw infos and some test modes.
I found no manual what to do with it.
Do you have a manual? Or some advise?
I saw *#0808# and chosse adb but then i found nothing that helps.
Thx

If it's not there you can install 3rd party launcher such Nova using adb shell.
Put it on the device or sd card first then do:
adb shell
pm install <path to .apk file>

Did this and nothing changes.
After flashing stock i get same error again.
Also adb dont work.

But the app will deleted, as soon as I reflash the OEM Rom.. -> no advantage
Aha.
O.k. what do i need to install (google account manager 6.0.1? My combo fw is 6.0.1) and the apk is saved on computer or on phone?
Then start g a m and reset phone, flash stock - done?
Maybe step by step instructions.
Thx

i can see it in "apps" on the tablet.
But how to run it?
Also WIFI is not working.
i see SSID´s and i´m able to enter password, but there is no O.K. Button...
o.k. wifi is working, nova launcher also, but google account manager is only shown in settings apps, but i can´t run it...

If you can access settings just factory reset from settings or is that option not available now?
Sure, it is available, but then?
After rebooting, factory binary FW startsup again, and when going into download mode and flash stock again, it is the same as before!
unauthorized factory reset. login to google account last used...
We on the s8 install factory binary then enabled oem unlock then install stock firmware.
Oem enable?
What is this???

lready solved it - search for an 7.0 Android ROM with same bootloader and follow the common steps for frp bypass with Factory Rom (*#0808#) reboot - flash 7.0 OEM and you are done ??

Last night I decided to try MIUI so I did a nandroid then followed installation instructions (including formatting /system which I've never done before and could possibly be cause of problem?)
After deciding MIUI was a little too phone focused, I decided to restore my nandroid. However, now I can't even get into CWM. First, there's no option on reboot menu to do so and even if I power off and start bootloader the old fashioned way, it simply hangs on the "google" screen. I noticed also that once choosing "recovery" from bootloader menu there is no apparent restart...it immediately goes to google screen and stays there.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

i had a similar problem. i had to switch my device off, plug it into my PC and reflash my chosen recovery.
That's the direction I was heading but can't do it from work. Thanks... Good to know that worked for you so I'll give it a shot

Seems to me it has to be plugged into a computer to get to recovery from the pwr/vol button restart. Otherwise when you choose recovery from the bootloader screen it will hang at the Google. You don't have to do anything with the PC connection, it just has to be plugged in. Not sure why it works this way, but it does. Just tried it again with mine.
Try the app "ROM manager" second option from the top will take you to CWM without the need to be plugged in to the PC.
I d/l all my zips and nightlies straight to my N7 and flash and update using this system. However, I wouldn't use ROM Manager for any other functions as is not updated very often.
Finally was able to install ClockworkMod thorough ROM Manager (Yay! :victory I checked it out, looked at a few stuff, stopped using it for a bit, then I saw that it reset itself. My initial thought when this happened was "Hmm. Probably a standby thing..? " So I started using it and guess what? It reset itself again! Now my thought was "Oh no.. I must've bugged the phone! :crying:". Now what..?
You flashed the wrong unlocked bootloader file! I dont have it now, later ill post the link with the specific model files for the bootloader.
What model do you have?
EDIT:
Here is the post to unlock your bootloader, You have to do it before it restart again!
And... how did you installed CWM? I prefer install this tutorial

When it happened to me I had almost 2 min before a restar so i did this:
Go to settings -> developers and allow android debugging
Restart manually (to reset timer)
Once restarted i put the boot file in sd
Open adb shell in a cmd shell in windows
Get root (if its the first time, the root app will take its time, so i would restart again)
And exec the lines very fast WITHOUT a backup (since its a bad file). I had the lines in notepad ready for copy&paste.
Restart and it should never self restart again

Hi,
After upgrading to KitKat and a custom ROM I have been having multiple issues with sensors. I have factory reset several times and clean flashed a few different ROMs but with the same result. The sensors do initially work but then just suddenly stop for no apparent reason.
I have also restored from my efs backup but this has not helped.
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
Any help, please?
I would suggest going back to pure stock 4.2.2 off samimobile first the full reset from Samsung recovery and wipe. You don't mention which custom roms ? Try that first though... Let me know !!
Full wipe your phone in recovery System, firmware,... Etc then reboot directly from CWM recovery in advance settings to download(odin mod) and flash the stock ROM.
make sure you back up everything.
Hope it helps

Hi,
Did as both of you suggested but the problem still occurs. This is on X-note but also occurred on Omega. At a bit of a loss here as reverting to stock doesn't seem to help. I flashed the UK 02 rom as EE have not released 4.4.2 yet.
Any further suggestions?
Cheers

Hey there! It's well known that you should not be making a backup if fingerprints are enabled, but I was dumb enough to make my backup with the fingerprints enabled, so when I restored it, even if I put the wrong pattern/pass the phone won't pass the first lockscreen after boot that won't let you use your fingerprints to unlock the phone for the first time.
Thing is, I found a way to avoid this by wiping the lock from the samsung's web tool (Find My Mobile - Luckily I had this configured when I made the backup). So then you use that option, you can access your phone again and create another security method that will work at least using fingerprints, because it wont let you use your pattern as it will fail and reload the lock screen. The problem presents when you reboot your phone, because you can only use the password and it will be allways broken, even if it's different from the one that came with the nandroid backup.
Is there a way to override the password at the first boot so the phone can be unlocked with fingerprints even at the first boot? Or should I reinstall the rom and configure it all again so the lock screen works again?
Thanks in advance!
