First of all I want to clarify that I am new to this, so I would be very helpful to help me understand this world, I am from Mexico, let's begin.
Good companions I previously had a galaxy s7 model SM-G930T, the device was with the T-mobile company that is from the USA but it was unlocked so I could use it normally in my country, the device had its T-mobile bloatware so that everything normal, well I decided to use samsung pay on that mobile, practically everything worked perfectly, then I sold that phone and bought what I now have that is a galaxy s8 model SM-G950U1 out there I have informed that it is an unlocked mobile from United States with CSC XAA, I find that I can not use samsung pay, when wanting to make a temporary transaction of my card to activate it does not do it, the truth is confusing to me as if I could use sPay with the s7 and now with the s8 No, if both were from the USA, they could help me. :crying:
I am very new in this of Roms of other countries, csc, etc ...
Thanks for your attention.

Hello everybody from this part of xda. Personally i do not own the device but here is my little story:
My uncle lives in United Kingdom and his service provider gave him Samsung Galaxy S5 as a x-mas gift for renewing his contract. It was too big for him so he sent me. My sister fell inlove with this phone from first sigh so i didn't take it. Unfortunately the S5 is locked. I searched a lot of threads about unlocking S5 and all i found was at&t problems without any good results. We live in Bulgaria and in my country there is no such a service which is unlocking phones from IMEI. My father's network provider is "EE" - united kingdom.
So here is my question:
Is it possible (Any way?) to unlock Samsung Galaxy S5 locked to EE (UK Provider) without buying unlock code online?
If root or recovery is needed for any method, okey, no problem, i will do it. Atm the phone is totally stock!
So far there is no way to unlock it for free like all the other Samsung's, you have no choice to buy a code, unless you can convince the carrier to hand over a code
Hi guys,
I ordered my galaxy s7 edge online, it was a refurbished phone from America but came unlocked. Everything works okay with my Vodafone UK sim but the phone still has a lot of the AT&T carrier stuff and automatically sets my billing address to the US and my currency to dollars when I downland an app.
Is there a way I can totally wipe the phone and load Vodafone UK's version of the software onto my phone?
Thanks
Ross

As per the information provided by you,your device model is G935A which is ATT Model. In order get rid off all the stuff(Bloatware), just flash G935U Firmware through ODIN
Will Samsung Pay still work with G935U?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N930A using Tapatalk
Hi thanks for the reply. How easy is that to do?
I have samsung pay on installed on this phone but unfortunately samsung pay isn't available in the UK yet. Android pay does the job though.
I just read a bit into it... Am I right in saying that flashing it to G935U that will give me a carrier free firmware but that will still be USA software so only solving half the problem?
I’m from the UK and want to buy a Samsung s7 edge from eBay to give as a gift to someone in Pakistan. How do I make sure the Phone I buy will also work there as I think these are European models? Is it just any S7 edge with a G935F model number?
Thanks in advance, really would appreciate some help as I don’t want to make a £400 mistake. Thanks
Pakistan will support the G935F. The person that you are gifting may need to change the CSC / firmware of the phone to have features such as Video over LTE, Voice over wifi or Voice over LTE working, depending on where the phone is from and therefore its firmware/csc. This can easily be changed through Odin and does not trip the knox e-fuse (what voids your warranty and stops Samsung pay from working).
What is CSC? it stands for "country specific code" and is responsible for the set of features a phone provides based on its country and sometimes carrier within country. Different carriers within a country may have different codes for different feature sets.
3G and lower calling will work fine. 4G for internet should work fine, they should be always enabled regardless of CSC.
Hope this helps. Any questions, let me know.
Hello guys,
I want to buy Galaxy S10+ in UAE for use in India.
Can someone please tell me what features will I get more or less in the device purchased in UAE compared to the one purchased in India?
I will purchase it directly from a retailer, so there won't be any contract with any service provider.
Regards,
Babloo

Each model of the S10 has only 3 variants
U = North American snapdragon
F = Exynos
SD = Chinese snapdragon
Both india and UAE have the Exynos variant, which they are identical, same bands, same layouts, same everything.
As pointed, you will need to flash the indian firmware for any samsung app to work properly, but it is not a complicated process nor does it trigger warranty / knox / etc
Ok. When I got my S8 from UAE I went to Europe for a trip and had to format the phone there with a European simcard... I didnt flash anything and all Samsung worked as if its purchased from Europe. I mean places in the contacts app. The European theme store which supported purchased items and by that time it was only free stuff available in UAE store. Samsung pay worked etc
Are u guys sure he has to flash India software?

The phone is not rooted, and google pay works fine. I was just wondering if there is any way I can get Samsung pay to work instead by changing the csc. Thanks
