Hello everyone !
I have a serious problem on my cell phone and I am desperate to solve it, I am even willing to reward for help (I mean it).
I have a Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U1 SnapDragon), I bought it at BestBuy Mobile and unfortunately do not know which carrier it is.
I was trying to do Root in it, but it was giving failure, it appeared the following message:
Error SW CHECK CHECK FAIL: [aboot] Fused 5> Binary 1
From what I understand I'm trying to flash an AP / PDA / Firmware in a different version, but how can I find out which version to download the correct firmware?
Thank you !!!

Hello!
I'm new Android User coming from iOS. I rooted my SM-J510FN and by mistake I unchecked the OEM lock so I can't run Android now.
It shows me Custom binary blocked by FAP. Secure Fail: Kernel.
I've looked for some solutions on YTube and Google, and all say I have to reinstall the ROM Stock. I tried to do this, but when I'm going to Start on Odin it gives me the next error. FAIL. In the device SW REV CHECK FAIL [aboot] Fused 2 > binary 1 and I'm not able to fix it.
Anyone could help me, please?
Thanks in advance!

If you can boot it in download mode (volume down, home and power for a few seconds while smartphone off), i recomend you to install smart swich on your pc and use its recovery tools.

Im having a very tedious problem with my galaxy s7 model G930P So before flashing this combination firmware : https://samsungcombinationfile.com/samsung-sm-g930p I Flashed the one at the very top Its file name is VZW_FA60_G930PVPU7ARI1 the problem is I forgot to check what current version my stock firmware is before flashing the combination firmware itself doesnt give me any substantial info, and all that download mode is giving me is a model name : G930V (Which im sure is incorrect because it literally says G930P engraved on the back of the phone) and it says RP SWREV: B7(2, 1, 1, 1, 1) K2 S6 Im pretty sure my stock firmware was android 7
Now what ive been doing is basically going through all the android 7 stock firmwares for my model and trying to flash them but one of two things happen 1.I Get an SW REV CHK error saying Fused 7 > Binary 6 or 5 or 4 it depends 2.Download mode disappears and phone boots into a SBL ERROR UPLOAD MODE screen with the green android in the center and some text at the top left corner saying
SBL Error!
rdx_init!
skip print_summary_to_lcd...
I Have no idea how to fix this, any help at all is greatly appreciated!
Firmware model is shown on top of the recovery screen, boot into recovery and check your firmware.
