Hi, my Le pro 3 (x727) is stuck on the boot screen. It shows the leeco boot screen then vibrates twice and then shuts off and repeat the process. My phone was unrooted and completely stock. Is it bricked? should I try to unbrick using the methods on this forum?

Okay can you provide more info
You say that it has never been rooted and never on a custom rom?
How long did you have the phone?
Were you using the stock charger and cable?
If its just a Brick
You can follow my instructions to unbrick.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/unbrick-leeco-phones-leeco-variants-t3847220
Read several times and properly install the software and drivers on your PC,. ( I cannot stress enough that you read the instructions of the OP and the first post underneath) If your phone is bricked those instructions will repair it.
If its hardware
Unfortunately, your issue could be a bad battery. Which is no big deal they only cost $8
If you have always used stock, and the issue is hardware its probably just the battery alone and nothing worse.
If it is something worse, it could be the usb card which is $13, I doubt that you would have a more serious issue such as a fried motherboard.
Good Luck
Let me know how it goes, on the unbricking thread.

I had the phone on release date which was november 2016 i think. Yeah, I have never tried to root or install a custom rom. I am using an anker powerline+ since the original cable didnt last long, still using the original charger. I have tried both the cable and the charger on a Nintendo Switch and it seem to work fine.
I am currently downloading the files from your guide, the big one is taking too long though. Do you have any other link for
le_zl1_qfil_ufs_fix.zip?
Other observation/s:
The phone warms up when left on charge, no notification light though.
The phone's battery life was degrading which I thought was natural. Last time I check through Accubattery was at 84%.
Before the phone died, I checked the time through my phone which was 1:30 am and is less than 25% battery, woke up at 4:30 am and its dead. Phone was unplugged during that span.

Thanks, but i got it back alive just this morning without flashing . I left it on repair mode (vol + - power) for a whole day to drain the battery. Then once I plugged it to the charger, it was running normally again. Is there any way to reset the battery stats?

That's great news! So apparently you had built up static discharge. In the past you could resolve this issue by simply taking the battery out and reseating it.
To clear battery stats
Boot to recovery , open file manager, go to data/system the down at the bottom you wiil find the batterystats.bin delete it and then reboot to system.
I do this about twice a month.
Take care, I am glad you got it working.

You don't need those files unless you have a brick. Go to the TWRP website for learning about the functions of TWRP

Hey, sorry to bug you again but my phone went back to bootloop. I tried draining the battery again but this time it didnt work. I went on and flash qfil and was successful at it. The problems is, right after flasing qfil, I rebooted the phone by long pressing the power button, but it just goes back to bootloop at the leeco logo. What could be wrong?

Hi, I just got an atrix two days ago and today tried flashing a ROM via CWM.
After following all of the original posts instructions correctly, the phone rebooted, and would not charge, or even boot into android D:
No red LED or error message, it would just sit at the booting screen.
Another strange thing, whenever I would plug the AC adapter into the phone, it would automatically boot, also mentioned by another person which flashed the ROM...

I tried using RSDlite but it says the battery is too low to flash. Same issue with Fastboot.
What should I do? I can't charge the phone, and whenever I connect it to my computer I get a solid Green LED.
Please help me D:
I'll be available via XDA PM, skype (danstheman7 is my username) and e-mail at [email protected]
Thank you in advance
**sorry if this is in the totally wrong section, i'm freaking out a bit right now and posted here incorrectly. my apologies.
You could try and get a battery charger for your battery. Ebay or amazon.
Also if your battery is really low sometimes it won't power on just buy plugging it into the wall or computer untill it has more then 10% charge. So if you plug it in and get a green light let it set a while it may be charging. Few hours should do the trick.
I am impatient so I used an old usb cable, cut the end off that would normally attach to a device, and stripped the wires that were red and black. On the back of your battery there is a positive and negative sign just attach the red to positive and the black to negative. Using tape I taped them down so they wouldnt move, plugged it in, and waited for a while for the battery to charge. Monitor the temperature of the battery to make sure it don't get hot. If it does unplug it, disconnect and order a battery charger. Something isnt right.
Once charged for a while put the battery back into the phone which allowed me to flash fastboot and RSD. Now make sure you have a full battery before doing this again.
I am not responsible for damage you inflict on yourself or phone. This can be dangerous. Electric shock, fires, exploding battery, etc may occur. Please try at your own risk. But this is what I did, ive learned my lesson to never flash on a low battery. Always charge fully.
You could also put the battery back in the phone and not have to wait for the battery to charge. Although you risk destroying your phone. And not just your battery.

Hi. Like you mentioned I had the same issue. I managed to fix it!
Go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1163009
Download .zip for your carrier (Att or international) and then enter to CWM Recovery:
Plug your mobile to wall charger and hold volume down button. Then press volume down until you see android recovery - press up and it will lunch CWM recovery (I'm assuming You have got CWM installed for unlocked and you have unlocked BL). Then wipe your data and simply apply zip that you have downloaded. This Solved my problem.
I don't what caused the problem but What i did was:
1. I have Unlocked BL using pudidng for international.
2. Flashed via fastboot system.img for 2.3.4 OrangeFR
3. Applied fix for RAM
4. Installed CWM for Unlocked
5. Nand Backup
6. Applied cherry blur in CWM
7. Applied RAM fix for 4.5.91
Up to this point - no problems. I restored all apps via titanium. I went to sleep and when I woke up this morning my mobile was off and I couldn't switch it on.
I have connected to the charger and then the mobile went on immediately. After few sec went off again and then on. I thought the battery is dead untill I've read this thread.
Things I can do ONLY while my mobile is connected to charger:
1. Enter fastboot - but I'v got msg that battery is to low to flash...
2. Enter CWM Recovery
3. Once I'm in CWM I can unplug from Charger and connect to PC.
3. ADB sees my device

Faced same issue - fixed
Hey there,
i faced the same issue couple of days back. My battey was completely drained. As soon as I connected my phone to ac charge, it would star and stuck at the Moto logo without charging the battery at all. I was able to rebot my phone to recovery, but none of the recovery zip worked for me. I was not able to use flashboot since always got the low battery warning.
Finally had to order the spare battery charger from Amazon and charge my battey to boot into flashboot and flash the HKTW image. Once i flashed to HKTW i was bale to apply the latest 4.5.91 zip using CWM. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
SK

Hi Guys.
First of All i am sorry for my bad English. Hope that u will understand me. I have a big Issue with my Defy with Red Lens. I used to have CM7 running on it with Android 2.3.7. Yesterday I decided to flash CM9 from 19/03 with the CM9 Kernel. Everything went just fine the phone started up and ran perfectly smooth until it just turned off. I wasnt even able to turn it on again. I guess the battery wa empty because it was in use for about 10 hours. Now heres the PRoblem: I cant start my phone. If i push the button nothing happens. But if i plug it onto the charger it will boot until this charging screen and not more. There is than a white questionmark on the battery on the screen and its stuck there with the red LED above the screen turned on. I am able to get into CM recovery Menu but everything i tried didnt work. I tried Clear Dalvik Cache, Full Wipe, Clear Battery Stats and the Recovery from CM. Nothing works. I am really confused.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Even if you plug it to the charger, if it's not charging, well...it's just not charging The battery meter shows full, but it's neither full, nor is it charging, therefore the patch needs to be flashed

why?
just put it on the usb an laptop, go in Android Bootmenu (Stock Recovery, not Clockworkmod) and select: Tools!
There u can select "share usb" or "share SD Card". Don't know exactly, but the computer should recognize it so u can copy files to your SD Card (e.g. Roms etc).
greetz
My Note 3 is dead. I was flashing various ROMs, all seemed OK.
I booted into Phorensis 5, which I already used several times, with data+system+cache on f2fs.
On reboot, I got a message saying that data partition is corrupted. I rebooted the phone into recovery, TWRP (2.8.7.0),
and the TWRP screen came up, and then the screen went dead.
From that point on, I see no response from the phone. Power button long press does nothing, short press nothing, inserting power cable does nothing, powre+vol up+home does nothing, power+vol down+home nothing. No LED,
taking out battery doesn't help, trying to boot just with USB cable also doesn't.
nothing at all....

I'm not sure. I left it to charge for a long time, but nothing changed. Could the battery just totally died from one moment to the next (I mean without emitting smoke)? I don't know how/what to check. Does the phone
normally do anything when the battery is not in the phone, but the charger is connected?

I think you are right... I tested the battery with a voltmeter, and there is no voltage. Totally dead.
Yep, and I tested for a second with a battery from an S3 mini, and the phone powers up.
Hmmm... it was something more complicated than that.
It seems that the phone got to a stage where TWRP 2.8.7 does not boot any more. And, it also could not charge the battery.
Then it somehow did something to the battery (drain? I'm not sure... bat seemed dead, but eventually suddenly did have 62%..)
After doing various things that would definitely void my non-existant warranty,
(involving charging the battery from a USB cable, and running the phone on the S3 battery)
I managed to get the phone into download mode and flashed TWRP with odin.
TWRP 3.0.2 does boot, but 2.8.7 does not, even after I flashed it again from a new download.
I'm not sure how that can happen... recovery is supposed to be independent of the phone state, isn't that the whole point?
So, now battery is full again, phone does boot and flash and respond.... Thank you!!
Go to your local Samsung dealership
Now all seems to work well. There was a problem with the filesystems on data/system/cache - some where f2fs, some ext4.
Once I managed to install a new ROM using TWRP 3.0.2, I could finally iinstall 2.8.7, and now things are as they were before.
My Xperia M5 which was on Android 6 was on charging when this happened. When I removed the phone from the charger and tried to power on (as I remember the phone had around 60% of battery remaining and it had been switched on when I plug it to the charger; however the device had been powered off when I unplugged it from the charger), it showed me the Sony logo and after that some startup screen. Then it was all black. Phone was switched off automatically. I tried switching it on again and couldn't.
After a while I tried switching it on again and the same thing happened. Then I kept the device aside for couple of days and tried switching it on again. Nothing happened this time. Then I plugged that into the charger and it showed me the icon of charging. It started from 0% and went on to 100%. After that, I tried to switched it on again. The same thing happened, but this time, couple of iterations. But it was not a boot loop. I had manually switch the phone.
However, non of the attempts switched on the phone for me. I plugged the phone back to the charger and this time it did not show me the charging icon. But the red LED was switched on and it kept the color red all along. If the device was charging properly, the LED should gradually go to color green. But it did not. I cannot even power on to see the previously seen startup screen. But if I keep the phone away for couple of days to completely drain the battery out, i will be able to see the charging icon with a successful charging process again.
What I need to know is, what has happened to my device. Is it soft bricked or hard bricked?
To be honest, I can give it to the shop for the repair since I am still on warranty period. But I need to recover my data and completely wipe them out from the internal memory. I tried connecting it to the computer. but computer cant recognize it. But I hear the sound of new usb connection. It is like a loop. I hear it, then a silence for a while, and again I hear it. But nothing on screen of the phone or the computer.
One thing to mention is that, the device was once recognized by Yodot tool for android recovery when the device was charging successfully(As I mentioned previously). I scanned the device and the tool went through all the steps until the last step of recovery. In fact I did not have license for the tool.
What Can I do to recover my data?
And also I need to wipe off the internal memory too.

Another method is use Flashtool and flash the ROM again without wiping data.

Flashing a ROM will avoid my warranty. Isn't it? I tried a tool called Yodot android recovery for data recovery. I think it found the data in the memory, but it does not allow me to retrieve data with out license. Is there any other tool which can help me in this case.? I have a concern about the warranty too.

I thought that flashing a rom is going to void the warranty. I know how to flash a rom, but never have flashed a one to a xperia device. Is the Flashtool the official one for xperia devices?
Have you tried to hard power off, "vol+ & power button"? I've had to do that this morning after switching my phone off yesterday to charge it, gone to switch it on this morning and nothing happened when I pressed the power button, I tried vol+ & power button and it vibrated a few times, tried the power button again and it switched back on. Try that or repairing your phone with official tools - http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/xperia-companion/ - http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/flash-tool/

Try that or repairing your phone with official tools - http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/xperia-companion/ - http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/flash-tool/

Did u do a hard reboot? Plug in charger while hard rebooting.
Another method is use Flashtool and flash the ROM again without wiping data.

Now I am going to Flash the rom. But the concern is if I do not have enough battery, it will hard brick my device while flashing. I cannot check my battery percentage sine I don't have any way of checking that.
How can I check for my battery pls?
So, here's my situation, my phone suddenly turned off last night while installing a game, when i tried to power it up, it "blinking" on the boot logo, it keeps turned on and off, so i reckon its battery has run out, so i charge it, then it works, it can boot to system, after it shows around 80% i unplugged the charger but the phone then suddenly turned off and again, blinking on the boot logo.. so i charge it again just to see it boot to system and shows 80% battery.. i tried to charge it to 100%, but at 100%, the phone suddenly died, again..
at first i thought it might be a battery problem, or power circuit thingy, but here's the catch, it can hold for 30 mins + on bootloader mode..
can someone tell me what is wrong with my phone?
EDIT: flashed stock ROM and Recovery, still no use
EDIT2: Did the QPST as suggested as Rwepradeep, still blinking on lenovo logo
EDIT3: Solved! Battery was the actual problem

okay so i did the qpst thing, it can hold on at download mode until it finished, then after that the phone reboots, and it happened again...
i don't get this phone, it works well on bootloader and download mode, but not so long at recovery.. not to mention i can't even boot into system (can't even past the boot logo lol)
Okay so, i took it to Lenovo Service Center, they told me something wrong with the battery, apparently it hold up on bootloader because the bootloader mode didn't took so much power, so even a broken battery should hold up a little.. Changed the battery, now it works well, thanks for all the help..
