Hello, I have had Jiayu S3 for three years now and for the past few days it turns off on its own. Then it turns on on its own, I give the pin code and then it stays on for 40 seconds and then it turns off abruptly on its own. Then it turns on, on its own .
Perhaps someone could give an explanation? A speculation of what is going on?

Hi i have been using the Cingular 8125 for awhile now..and a few days ago the phone just died.. It was almost fully harged and have replaced the battery.. The screen flickered and then just shut off and wont boot back up. On occasions if i let it sit it will turn on for a few minutes but then the screen seems to fade and it wont turn back on.. is there a way i can fix this issue? I have tried letting it sit for 2 days and it worked for a couple of minutes but it always dies.. any suggestions.
Now whenever i try to turn it on it goes all the way to the today screen but then shuts off and gives me a red blinking LED..
Try replacing the battery. They don't last forever, and replacements are much cheaper than new phones. It's worth a try, anyway.
Hello all,
I have a little problem and would like to know of someone has hsd the same problem.
After use i put my tab in standby and it turns off. I can't turn on the tab. I have to press the power buttom 3 times for 5 sec before it starts up, normal boot i see the acer logo.
I'm not rooted.
What can I do?

Ya, definitely not normal. Take it back.
Hey guys, been using my Focus for about 2 years with no problems, last week it randomly shut off. I plugged it in to let it charge, I got the Samsung logo for about 4 seconds and then a black screen. Every now and then it would turn on and show a low battery screen for a few seconds, then shut off again.
Plugging it in and charging it did nothing, so I ordered a new battery
Swapped out batteries and nothing, same problem. Sometimes when I plug it in, I don't even get the Samsung logo. It's all very hit and miss. Not sure what to do here, seems like the phone is a goner but I'd figure I'd see if anyone here can help.
Cheers.
Hi all,
Hoping i posted this in the correct section but i'll start off.
So i've had my S4 for about a year and a half now, a couple days ago the phone's started to act up. It turned off, wouldn't turn back on, i did the typical battery pull but the weird thing is when i did, the phone would vibrate right after i put it in, the GS4 logo comes up and then it just shuts off. I've tried to charge it and it won't work, tried doing a battery pull and then putting it back in then quickly plugging the charger in before it vibrates and nothing. Does anyone know what my issue could be? I can post some pictures to help reference but any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm on the latest Kit Kat update, running on rogers.
I hate to bump such an old thread, but I've looked and looked and haven't found many threads with this issue. So, might as well bring the issue to the front so it's visible.
I'm having this exact issue as of this morning. The phone shows the Samsung logo after booting up for a bout 1-2 seconds before turning off. Won't power on until the battery is pulled/replaced. Only powers on for 1-2 seconds again.
If it's plugged into the charger, the same thing happens, except instead of the Samsung logo, it's the empty battery logo with the cogwheel, before turning off 1-2 seconds later.
Worked fine last night, this morning, nothing.
Anyone experienced/resolved this issue?
Unfortunately, the exact same thing is happening with my phone as well now. About two hours ago I was playing a game and then the internet stopped working. Less than a minute later the phone turned off and now I can't boot up past the logo that is displayed for like a second.
Can you guys get into download mode? If so I'd Odin the stock firmware and see if the problem goes away.

if all else fails you could pm OP and see what he did. he never posted again so may have got it working.
Hi, I have a Moto G4 XT1621 bought almost 6 months ago. Never had any type of problem, but two days ago I woke up, saw the hour just fine, and five minutes later I grabbed it to check notifications, and it was dead. The only sign of life the phone gave me was the blinking of the charging LED and the phone vibrating randomly when I pressed the power button. That night, the phone turned on, but the screen was always black, no backlight. I heard the boot up animation sound (the classic "HELLO MOTO!!!"), but the screen wasn't turning on.
Thinking it was a software failure, I've flashed the stock rom via fastboot (the phone connects in bootloader mode, but I can't see the bootloader screen), but the problem was the same: I can hear the boot up sound, and if right after the phone boots up I press the power button, I can hear the lock sound about 5 or 6 times, but apparently it turns off itself.
Sometimes, it can't boot properly; the boot up sound is cut before it ends, mainly in "HELLO MO...".
I really need help, I've tried everything: leave it charging for hours, tried a major amperage charger, pressing the power button + vol down for 2, 3 and for 5 minutes, disassembling it and reconnecting the battery, tried to turn it on without the battery, flash stock ROM, all kinds of wipes, etc.
The phone hasn't suffered from water damage, I didn't dropped it or anything like that. The screen connections nor the motherboard connectors does not presents any damage.
Any help is welcome .
PD: Sorry for any misspelling, english isn't my main language :silly:.
Could have been the screen or the GPU

It seems weird because the phone didn't have any issues, it just turned off and bye bye. I'm running out of options
Edit: needless to say that the phone don't stay that much powered on (5 seconds aprox. for the sound that the lock screen do), so I don't think this is a screen problem. If it was a screen failure, the phone will stay on.
Bad/good news?
Almost five minutes ago, I noticed that the screen on the phone is on, but slightly visible, almost impossible to see: you have to be in a fully darked room, and its backlight it's on, but it shows no sign of letters on the bootloader or boot animation whatsoever, it's just backlight.
Any ideas of what could it be? I'm almost decided that I need a screen replacement, but any ideas will be welcomed.
