If your phone came with aptX stock OS then you can still use aptX after flashing LineageOS (after some file copying). :good:
This was not the case with CyanogenMOD.

Do you happen to know where file libbt-aptX-ARM-x.x.x.so file (likely libbt-aptX-ARM-4.2.2.so) and any other such files can be obtained from assuming LineageOS 15.1 needs/uses them at all? (this thread tells us it should be there for AptX support) That file is not included into LineageOS 15.1 and doesn't come with the APTX-Enabler.zip patch from this thread either. This is for Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 (SM-A320FL). I already tried asking around here and here besides that thread and strangely no replies so far. I understand LineageOS does support AptX for a couple of years by now (on devices with AptX support in their stock ROMs). Many thanks in anticipation...

Just use the Magisk aptX module
a user sent me a PM with a link to a Russian forum that may contain roms for both T560 and T561.
I can see links for CM 11 to 13 and Lineage 14 but I am not sure if these are actual roms, fix or bug reports.
So anyone here speak Russian?
link here: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
Let's discuss here
Was able to download the firmware for CM 13 (MM 6.0.1) and Lineage 14 but haven't flashed them yet since the link for boot.img for the roms is dead. hmmm
Lineage 14: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
CM 13: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
I tried cm12.1, 13, 14.1 in my sm-t560.
Cm12.1 it works but then it restarts

Hi so CM 13 is ok from the following links? Did you need to flash the boot.img?
I read you said no bugs but to be sure, does the USB OTG work on the CM 13 still?
Can you lay down what you did exactly. Thanks buddy!

Do not install the boot.img.
OTG works.
Thanks buddy
Will just do a backup and flash this. We can talk about features here as well so others will know. I have a T561
Are you using TWRP 3.0 on your T560? It's a requirement for flashing lineage 14.
However, I'm using T561 and I can't find a compatible TWRP version 3.0 for my device.
Will try to flash CM 13 now. Will update.

3.0.2-0, the one that is published here.
Yes I saw T560 has a TWRP version 3. However T561 doesn't have it and the one on the Russian forum seems pouting to a dead link. Will try to contact the author. He was the one who sent me a PM.
Anyway, so CM 13 worked for me. Still testing but I find the animations a little sluggish. Not sure but in the early days of Android ROM flashing it was advised to let a new rom settle for a couple of hours, even days. I will be patient with this. It's a fresh sight over TouchWiz.
Anyway quite happy I found a working rom after months of searching (CM 13).
All essentials are working so far.
Wifi
USB OTG
Camera
Sim (t561)
USB MTP seems broken. My laptop can detect it and shows as removable storage but it doesn't show on the windows explorer. Not sure what's going on. Anyway not a biggie I can use the OTG to transfer files.
Attaching some pictures here.
Will update on performance.

Do you have the img of 14.1?
Nope non, haven't tried flashing lineage 14 since it says it requires TWRP 3.0 which I don't have.
How do you find CM 13 so far? Wonder if the lineage 14 OS is much faster. Haven't heard from the creator yet. He did mention he isn't as active here.
One thing I noticed is the CM 13 (marshmallow) does not support moving of app from internal to partitioned SDcard via App2SD or Link2SD.
Not sure if it's a Marshmallow thing (adoptable storage) or a rom thing.
Thoughts?
Edit:
Moving2SD isn't supported but linking to SD is.

All thanked for Ma3a_XaTa
Wow thank you for this. Yes he was the one who sent me a message. Do I need to flash this via Odin or flashing it via existing TWRP is ok? Have you tried Lineage 14?
EDIT:
Flashed the TWRP 3.0 via TWRP 2.8. Will update if Lineage 14 is ok.
EDIT:
The device boots up on Lineage 14 but I am always notified of the following warning.
"com.android.phone has stopped"
I am able to set up the tablet but that warning always pops up even after two install attempts.
Also, The SIM card isn't detected on this ROM, which is a no biggie but would help if anyone knows of a fix?
This is the error I am recieving. Hope there's a fix for this
Edit:
Edit:
Tried the following steps
Clear Cache and Data of the Phone App, SIM Toolkit, Reboot. The problem still persists.
Lineage 14 is so much faster then CM 13. We're so close already to having a useable Nougat ROM. Maybe it has something to do with that boot.img for lineage which can't be downloaded.
Found a temporary fix.
Activate developer options > USB Debugging. Then when the warning prompts again, there is now an option > hide till device restarts.

If you want to do a good job, you and the experienced people can find solutions to some problems in this rom
I wrote a guide on how to install this Nougat based ROM in my website, along with initial review and fix to the pesky notifications.
I hope this is allowed, otherwise please delete but don't ban me mods please!

Good work many thanks for you and we wating fixes thank you
So far so good using this tablet on Lineage 14. I am using a very good launcher called Sentio Launcher. Allows me to work on the tablet like a laptop. I have a Bluetooth keyboard.
This is good as a daily driver. Wish the SIM function can be fixed but I don't mind really :3
sm-t560 does not work (7.1.2), do not pass the boot.img?
I recently switched from Oxygen OS to Lineage OS on OnePlus 3. VOLTE was working fine on Oxygen OS but it is not working on Lineage OS. Have enabled 'Enhanced 4G LTE Mode' also in settings. Can see 'LTE' in the status bar but not VOLTE. When I try to make call using VOLTE enabled SIM, the call disconnects even before trying to make the call. Data is working fine on LTE but no voice call.
Any setting that I am missing?

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread that corresponds with the version that's specific to your device.
Official LineageOS 15.1:

Official LineageOS 14.1:

If all else fails, you can always try to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

Recently upgraded to a Galaxy S5 and was able to flash Lineage OS 15.1 and a GApps package with no problem. But what I found is that every time Lineage OS updates I get a spam of notifications saying something along the lines of "[app name] won't work without google play services, which aren't currently installed". Is there any way to remedy this or do I just need to re-flash GApps every time I update?

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my SM-G900T device.
you should always specify the exact model device you are talking about, which os builds, which gapps package, and sequence of how you are flashing.
works just fine on my sm-g900t with all so far through LOS 15.1 2018-11-12 and opengapps nano 2018-11-13, and i typically would install LOS weekly with maybe monthly gapps since that is auto-updating through play store anyway.
for thoroughness, as i recall when i was flashing the rom updates (making sure to get the current twrp 3.2.3.0) i'm preter sure there were some scripts that autorun to preserve stuff like opengapps and magisk.
and anyway, i'm probably switching to monthly for LOS and maybe quarterly for gapps, since i'd rather just get the security rollups and reduce wearing out the internal flash storage faster.
Hello,
I need some help to prepare the installation of LineageOS for microG.
The installation of LineageOS / LineageOS for microG fails because I can't install TWRP.
Downloading the files again did not change anything.
I am working with an Linux PC and flashing TWRP throught heimdall fails because the PIT file can not be read from the device.
So I tried to read it manually using "heimdall print-pit" command this failed with an error telling that something like a "end of file"-character could not be sent.
I thought rooting the phone might be the next step towards installing TWRP.
Flashing CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f using "heimdall flash --recovery" didnot work the blue progess bar appeared on the phone but didnot increase within some minutes.
Therefore I cancelled the file transfer and restarted the phone after I removed the USB-cable and battery.
Any help regarding rooting and installing TWRP is appreciated.

Thanks for the link.
I didn't found any helpful information there, but I'll ask there when I need help.
I'm going to use an Windows PC to downgrade the phones firmware via Odin and use towelroot then.
If this doesn't work I'm going to try flashing TWRP using Odin.
With TWRP installed flashing LineageOS for MicroG shouldn't be a problem.

I don't have the G900F variant (yet) but, from what I understand, that's an International variant and its Bootloader should already be Unlocked.
It looks like the only thing you really need to do is flash TWRP via Odin as is but, I believe that I may be a bit off on that device.
Your best bet is to take a look at and, if needed, post your question within the following Official TWRP thread that's specific to your device and variants.
