I recently switched from Oxygen OS to Lineage OS on OnePlus 3. VOLTE was working fine on Oxygen OS but it is not working on Lineage OS. Have enabled 'Enhanced 4G LTE Mode' also in settings. Can see 'LTE' in the status bar but not VOLTE. When I try to make call using VOLTE enabled SIM, the call disconnects even before trying to make the call. Data is working fine on LTE but no voice call.
Any setting that I am missing?

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread that corresponds with the version that's specific to your device.

I just flashed cm14.1 (20161119) build , it is very smooth and good for daily drive but voLTE is not supporting , can anyone please confirm?:fingers-crossed:
There's still no updated modem firmware from Oneplus (which in 99/100 cases comes with a newer ROM for the phone) adding voLTE, no.

No I mean , Still we can use data in oneplus 2 from voLTE right? cant able to select that also...
I am from India, I was using Jio for data alone . It was working fine in OOS.
Cyanogenmod supports voLTE, however the closed sourced binaries from Oneplus does not support telephony though the 4G modem. So there's not much we can do other than use SIP telephone to call using 4G data if you absolutely must use this because of lack of GSM/2G.

Reliance Jio functions exclusively on the LTE network, so 2g fallback is not an option. That's the reason for all the VoLTE requests.

There aren't really that many providers who offer free voice calls and data at the price point of absolutely free. Come to think of it, I can't name a single one in my region.

It seems like more then just coincidence that Jio operates in the same region as Oneplus main target audience lives, and then has this offer you can't refuse and by accident the newer flagships supports this provider of free telephony, it makes me wonder how much Oneplus is sponsoring Jio.... ??
use jio's own app jio4gvoice to call

I wanted to report my latest finding on VoLTE, so many questions can be resolved.
For the record, I am based in New York and on T-Mobile, so my VoLTE settings are not the same as many of you on Jio in India, so it works for you, it may not work for others.
Now as to my findings:
OOS 3.5.6 - VoLTE works out of the box, no issues!
CM14.1 based ROMS (RR/AICP and variants including Lineage OS) VoLTE does not work!! That includes Official and Unofficial builds.
CAF based ROM (halogenOS) VoLTE works out of the box, no issues!!
AOSP based ROM (CosmicOS) VoLTE works out of the box, no issues!!
Now, I am not sure what the issues is with CM/Lineage OS ROMs that prevents VoLTE to function - but this might give insight to developers.
Is there anyone else I here from USA and on T-MOBILE that can confirm my findings or provide other info?
Thanks
Hi, I read in a now closed Telegram chat, that someone got the OOS camera fully working on Havoc OS. I'm on Havoc too and I cannot get it running. Does anyone have any idea?
The guy seems to have found the files here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/themes/lineageos-oneplus-5t-oxygenos-camera-t3793997
From what can read from the link, this project seems to be working on the OnePlus 5 with lineage (read post #26). Anyone can confirm that? I'm in holiday and can't try ?
Recently upgraded to a Galaxy S5 and was able to flash Lineage OS 15.1 and a GApps package with no problem. But what I found is that every time Lineage OS updates I get a spam of notifications saying something along the lines of "[app name] won't work without google play services, which aren't currently installed". Is there any way to remedy this or do I just need to re-flash GApps every time I update?

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my SM-G900T device.
you should always specify the exact model device you are talking about, which os builds, which gapps package, and sequence of how you are flashing.
works just fine on my sm-g900t with all so far through LOS 15.1 2018-11-12 and opengapps nano 2018-11-13, and i typically would install LOS weekly with maybe monthly gapps since that is auto-updating through play store anyway.
for thoroughness, as i recall when i was flashing the rom updates (making sure to get the current twrp 3.2.3.0) i'm preter sure there were some scripts that autorun to preserve stuff like opengapps and magisk.
and anyway, i'm probably switching to monthly for LOS and maybe quarterly for gapps, since i'd rather just get the security rollups and reduce wearing out the internal flash storage faster.
I've got 8.1 AOSiP by camcory Not encrypted on my 6 XT1103 with TWRP & Magisk.
So I haven't rooted a phone in a 3 years. Before that I've rooted a dozen or more. I have questions. I've read all 5 pages in the OFFICIAL LineageOS 17.1 topic. How much I comprehended & retained is another story.
I am getting up there in age.
Afair I've never used Lineage. I noticed 17.1 for the 6 are nightlies. Is there going to be a Final version?
As per the 1st post.
Known Issues:
[bug] Trusted voice is not working and probably never will
[bug] IMS is not working - if you need it you have to stay on lineage-15.1
I Googled & I don't know what either of these are.
And I read here, something about landscape mode stereo sound not working?
Is anything else not working?
Can I update my AOSiP 8.1 through Official TWRP App Version 1.21 Build 34?
I downloaded 04.09 nightly & the recovery image. I know to back up my data, flash gapps before rebooting & flash Magisk? if I desire root.
Would someone kindly run me through the basic steps for my specific setup?
Thanks to the greatest Devs in the world, awesome members & the best rooting forum XDA!
Just a heads up:
The ROM you're using is the only ROM for our device with current security that has VOLTE capability. (So many thanks to Wavedashdoc, Camcory, and Electroschmock).
Any ROM with PIE or later does not support VOLTE. You will notice better quality voice calls on ROMs that support VOLTE. So if voice quality is important to you, consider staying put on 8.1.
You can google search on "Voice call quality VOLTE vs. no VOLTE" to learn more about it. Of course, feel free to upgrade to see if the voice call quality difference matters to you. You can always revert back to 8.1.

No you can't switch between ROMs by updating.
You need a clean install.
Just follow the wiki => https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/shamu/install

Thank you for the heads up. I'm using a AT&T MVNO afaik & imo the default AT&T codecs are better than VZW & TM. I find Sprint codecs pretty good.

Thank you for the reply I am honored by the giving of your time & expertise.
Right now I'm gathering all the files I'll need. Used an APK extractors to save hard to find apps. I have to back up all my files. Most important I have to continue to read. Make a backup of my current ROM.
I can continue to use TWRP recovery to switch to LOS 17.1 after a full wipe for a clean install. Or would a switch to LOS recovery be more beneficial? And if I switch to LOS recovery could I revert to AOSiP 8.1 through LOS recovery?
The link you provided is invaluable & I will consult it mightily.
Are there any YT vids of switching ROMS? In the past videos like are very helpful. Seems there's alway minute details that are hard to document but are captured on videos.

I haven't tested it personaly, but there are users who continued to use TWRP without problem.
I'm not aware of any videos, but I guess the wiki instructions should be sufficient.
Hello.
I have a Pixel 4 (Flame), which is running a Lineage OS derriative called Calyx OS (This was an issue when it was on Lineage OS as well). I struggle with the fact that VoLTE does not seem supported by my carrier (Telmore (A sub-company of TDC, so their APN's work)).
Has anyone had VoLTE working with LineageOS in Denmark? If so what device were you using?
Thank you in advance.
P.S. this is normally something I would not really care about, but the radios on the installation that my employer has got installed (By TDC), recently shut off 3G to make room for 5G (So now I can't receive or make phonecalls).
