Hello everyone, i just bought a OP5,but i am facing some weird issue,on some kernel(Fk kernel,eas kernel on pie) i figure out that i have screen wake issue, when I unlock i can hear The screen unlock sound but thr screen doesn't led up, i need to trigger The Google assistant to led up The screen,but not happened on stock ,blu and smartpack kernel... anyone have an idea on how to fix this? i even Googled it seems I'm the only one having this kinda issue ...

update: I maybe found answer now, it cause by the DT2W patch in the kernel, but i still don't know why it only happened on my device...

Hi,
is there an option for android-HD2s to disable the proximity sensor? I'm sick of the behavior of my device that the screen doesn't turn on again after making a phone call, taking out battery isn't a very useful option...
I already tried the Recalibrator for the sensor (originally for DesireHD), it worked for a few days but now again i've got the problem...
Therefore i'd rather have the screen turned on during the phone call, than having a blocked phone after the call..,
Do you know a solution?

hi, I guess you are using Desire HD rom. If is so I fully understand you. Those build s avery big and laggy. After trying many,many rom s Iwent to this one>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=931126
The screen turns on , everything work s fine. And it is crazy fast. Believe me, you will love android after this.
the best DHD Rom is Core Droid, in 1.3 the sensor was good, but in the actual 1.4 its bad again, try it when the next version is out. its very fast and nice skinned, also always good updates like the controls widget in the notifications bar.
Are we talking about the rom for hd2??is there anyone who can help us on the same problem?

Hello everybody. I have an issue with the screen wake up. I use this rom, the latest version. Everytime I end a conversation the screen is turning off. That is normal. But the problem is, I cannot wake it up afterwards. The hardkeys backlight is turning on for just a moment and off. The only solution is taking out battery and booting Android once again. I know that changing the build would might be helpful but this ROM is really fantastic and I would like to avoid changing it. Could anyone help with this? Thanks.

This question would be better answered if posted in the thread created for the ROM. The other users may also be experiencing the issue and have a solution, or the chef may not even be aware of the problem and should be notified.
This is not the rom's problem, ...
it's your proximity sensor, quick fix is to put it under a bright light or zap it with an IR remote (the proximity sensor is located top-left
Hey guys , I am expriencing a sudden shutdown of the screen after ending a call.
When it happends the screen goes black but everything else function, u can still hear it when u press on the buttons and the only way to make it work again is to pull off the battery and restore it.
the question is : if its a sod , a faulty device or just a user error.
I've searched the forums with no luck so I am here asking you.

try disabling proximity sensor in call settings, it's possible that the sensor is faulty, mine is and it causes the same effect.
I m having hardware issues with my defy (CM 7.2).
When Im receiving a phone call proximity sensor start doing his job, but I hang up the phone screen doesnt wake up and proximity sensor keeps blinging like Im still talking on the phone.
Any suggestions?
Im thinking to try disable the driver (help me out with this!!)
OR
force the screen somehow to wake up after the phone call
OR
never sleep screen when Im on phone.

Hi, I've been having this issue since installed CM11 on this phone (D800, happens aswell on other models). Sometimes the proximity sensor will not trigger when incall and taking away the phone from your face. So the only way to get the screen back (to hang-up the call for example) is hitting the back button -wich is annoying-. The sensor is ok since it is working fine (call and screen) on a G3 based rom. Is there any workaround for this? Can anyone help to fix this?

Incredibly, this bug happens me aswell on cyanogenmod 12 (lollipop)... Should I start thinking about a radio problem? Wich other radio could be tested with this roms?
