Hi everyone,
I have a rooted Nexus 4 running Paranoid Android 3.6, CWM backup and I have a question concerning tasker. I am having a problem with the lock screen and hoping I can get some help. I have it set up as a pin # and I'm using a profile on tasker that disables the lock screen when I'm connected to my home wi-fi; however, sometimes it gets buggy, and it changes the lock screen from pin to slide in the settings menu. I'm using secure settings to disable the pin and keyguard. I even tried to disable the lock screen in the settings menu to see if possibly secure settings will override it, but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
Profile set as follows: when wi-fi connected to my ssd: secure settings 'clear password/wait for unlock; secure settings keyguard disabled; end task secure settings keyguard enabled, set pin.
Can anyone help me with this setup on Tasker Wiki? Basically the same concept, but they are using variables. I have already downloaded the file, but it's an XML document....how do I install this? Thanks for any help! Since I can't post any external links yet, all I can really do is post this and hope someone can help me out. The website is tasker.wikidot - dot com and the profile is under 'simple' LOCK Enable/disable PIN lock with Wifi connection or Car Mode
finally got tasker to disable my fingerprint scanner and open up google voice command but I can't seem to get it to re-enable my fingerprint scanner which is slightly frustrating. Any ideas on how?
Also is there a way to get tasker to recognize the button press on my BT headset? I can get autovoice and bluetooth launch to recognize but autovoice overrides google voice and bt launch doesnt work with the fingerprint scanner on..

Hi,
I got it working successfully with secure settings.
To enable fingerprint in Tasker: Plugin > Secure Settings > Configuration > Custom ROM Actions > Samsung Fingerprint Lock > On
To disable fingerprint in Tasker: Plugin > Secure Settings > Configuration > Custom ROM Actions > Samsung Fingerprint Lock > Off

I have my note 4 rooted and used tasker and secure settings without issue on my S4. On my note 4 when add the task for the fingerprint scanner I noticed that secure settings cannot detect the current status of fingerprint scan.
Secure settings can tell me any of the other lock screen status.
Can you check yours and see if your secure settings has a current status on the screen where you choose on off toggle
thanks

Hi,
You're right it doesn't detect the status.
It can disable it, but it's always shown as "activated" in phone settings.
Any way to use the voice unlock feature on Verizon galaxy s5? If Verizon has disabled it is there a way to enable it if you are rooted?
You need to go in to google now settings where you sey up ok google and it should be there, i dont know why tapping on the setting in smart lock does nothing but you can enable it in google settings.

I cant find any setting regarding volte on this phone. Even though they say OP6T has volte setting.
So hard to Google?
1: Go to the dialer and enter: *#800#
2: Select Enter
3: Go to Logkit
4: Swipe down to function switch
5: Tick VoLTE, VoWiFi switch
6: Reboot
Keep in mind, that will not enable VoLTE if you don't have the right NV-Settings, IMS apn configured, your carrier doesn't support VoLTE or your subscription is not provisioned for VoLTE.
I put these in, when I was on version xx.07 which obviously didn't support VoLTE...when the update to xx.11 came
along, VoLTE popped up and worked (and boy you can tell a difference in the call quality!), no VoWifi though.
Now, when I enter the *#808#, a completely different menu & options comes up? The Logkit option isn't available.

*#800# works with the original OnePlus dialer only.

Who is your carrier? Is it supporting VoLTE and VoWifi? And you may have many active icons and the status bar won't show them all because of its limitations.

Did you ask your carrier about it? Some carriers only support their branded phones for certain services.

Which network are you on? In the UK, I'm on the network Three which supports VoLTE but call it SuperVoice. VoLTE didn't work initially for me but VoWiFi did. I had to use the QPST method to get VoLTE working for me. The OP6T is not a handset offered by Three and they stated that only handsets bought from them support their SuperVoice technology. You can get it working but it can be a lot of trial and error. You can mess up your phone so I would only recommend it if you know what you're doing.
You might need to get a new SIM card from your carrier to solve this problem. It worked for me and required zero screwing around with phone.
