Can you let us know what your on now???
settings/ about phone.. android version 2.3.2, build number 3.0.a.2.181
Simply go to settings-> About the phone, go to the bottom of the information displayed, and check the FW version.
Mine had 3.0.A.2.181 out of the box...
I didn't get any update notification. Can you tell me the new firmware version?
My build number is 3.0.A.2.181.
I have build 3.0.A.2.184 android 2.3.2

I too have an unbranded UK arc and have just plugged into SEUS - it's updated the f/w.. just waiting on it booting up!
[Edit - ok.. it's booted up.. and I have the .184 version too.. have you noticed any difference? I've posted on the SEUK FB page to ask them to let us know]

It feels a little faster .. But I have had a chance to play with the original firmware as I only brought it yesterday

I did a quick search, couldn't find anything intressant. But what i notices is that the xperia play has the same build version.
I just connected mine, bought from Germany (no branding, no SIM lock) and having .181 firmware, the SEUS says I have the latest software so no need to update.
No update here in Denmark as well. 181 still. :-(
Sweden doesn't seem to have gotten any update yet either.

I noticed my nexus does better job than arc i don't know why. but i like the arc really great screen even outside everything is clear.
Some games lag even angry birds lag i never had this on my nexus. I don't believe it's ram related because have 100+ nothing runs in the background.
But waiting for future update, it will get better
I've played AB a bit and not had any lag for me...
I did get a bit of lag yesterday when playing for about an hour or so, then about about 2 minutes it just sorted itself out...

It's not a bad lag but very little lag most people wouldn't even notice it.
But did someone found what different is in this update? i still didn't get it
Just got my update on a UK phone - reckon its just a plot from SE to convince us they will be supporting us owners this time around

ML1 update (p600)

I'm quite impressed. Performance is a lot better. Still 4.3 of course but a lot lot faster. I've got it from here http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-P600 . For now there's only a Taiwanese version available, but who cares.

what about root? how to root?
Samsungs namin system is annoying. ML1 is newer than MK1. What differences do you notice?
I would have thought more people would be talking about this.

I used the ported CF auto root from the development section. The method still works. It triggers the KNOX Warranty Counter. But I don't care.

I jumped straight from MJ6 to this one. Can't say anything about the difference with MK1, but compared to MJ6 it is definitely a lot snapier . Much more responsive. Because I use the note on a day to day basis I'm sure it is not a placebo effect. Things just work a lot more smooth. It is a significant boost)

Almost instant on. But I thought they already fixed that in the MK version

You wont trip the knox flag cause this is a firmware which is signed by samsung. Use Odin to flash it.

ah
i tired it, but i can not notice a significant difference to MK1 except for the missing multi user support....
i just install it over k1.. little snappier..
also the home button wakeup lag is gone to me.
lost the multi user support but i never use i, beside lost some default fonts.
so far notice the different keyboard, I did flash it with ODIN and my knox counter is still at 0 so all good
*update
REally not sure if this is the latest because it has no multi user and the ripple unlock effect screen is there.
So do we have to wait for this to be released in our respective regions or can we just flash the taiwanese version with no sisses? I'm in Canada.
I'm in the u.s. and odin it and it's working very well! Seems a bit smoother. No twitter or watch on, also not able to get purchased videos from the Samsung hub but able to get the purchased apps. Is there a way to side load the twitter app?
Sorry for a noon question but will flashing this in ODIN wipe or just update the appropriate files?

Is 4.3 MK9 fixed?

Hi, I am new to this device.
I have been hearing stuff about poor battery life, lag, reboots and a load of random bugs with 4.3. Many are articles made in October of this year.
Has MK9 fixed a lot of those bugs? Would you say its similar in performance and stability to that of 4.2.2? Is it worth the upgrade?
Thanks,

Nvm, decided to upgrade in the end. The phone feels so much smoother, keyboard seems more spacious, battery life is round about the same.

The beta 3 update is ota and you will only receive this update if you're subscribed to the beta program.
I'm stuck here too. There seems to be no other thing than to wait for the official nougat version..

It kind of does performance wise, battery wise, not so much. 3hours SOT maximum... Facebook crashing and WiFi randomly turning on and off without connecting.
