NEW Logitech K600 Wireless Keyboard - Fire TV General

https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/k600-smart-tv-keyboard
Supports three devices and six platforms. Connects via included Logi Unifying Receiver (UR) or Bluetooth (BT) to Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Android TV/Android mobile devices (Fire TV), Windows, macOS, iOS, and Chrome OS
I initially set it up for WebOS on my LG OLED with its included USB UR as Device 1. Then got it connected by BT to my FireTV Cube as Device 2. Remembered I had a spare older UR for my K400 that I was using on my FireTV so set it up with the Cube as Device 3. I'll get around to ditching the Cube BT connection.
The setup is a little obscure. If you have Windows, the easiest way is to use Logi's UR Connector app and set it up on the PC and then move the UR to what you want to control.

[Q] Bluetooth keyboard on froyo for slate computer

I recently bought an ExoPC (Windows 7 slate computer) which tied in very well with me getting my replacement HD2. I would like to use the HD2 (running froyo) as a bluetooth keyboard for my slate device so I can run certain applications at full screen. I have seen many applications that use wifi to hook up but nothing bluetooth. Wifi is no good as this device is used on the train/ tube/car so no wifi is available.
Any suggestions (sorry if this is in wrong area)
GRemote Pro.
I use it so I can control the PC I built into the dash of my truck in addition to the PC that I use as a DVR for my television. It can connect over both WiFi and Bluetooth.

Android Device as Xbox 360 Controller

hi, I was wondering if it is possible to send commands from your android device to your xbox 360 ? (via usb)
so that your phone works as a controller.....
(Im not asking to connect a xbox 360 controller to an android phone - but connecting an android phone to a xbox console!)
Does the 360 support a hid usb keyboard? You could probably emulate that on the android device.
Better, in my opinion, and with a wider appeal would be a bluetooth ir blaster. Should be a fairly simple device, controlled over bluetooth, that emmits ir remote signals to be received by your xbox or other home theater equipment. Not sure if something like this is available, but there should be.
usb is rather limited (mostly because it's an xbox, if it was a PC it would be easier), but like voodoo55 said, bluetooth would be possible

but there are wired-xbox-controllers that connects via usb to the xbox....
the phone could just send the standard usb-commands to the console, right?
no bluetooth support on xbox im afraid.... it may be possible by studying what buttons on the controler do.. eg. what command each button does when pressed.. obviously its coded some how.. as voodoo55 said you may be able to emulate this using some sort of custom made app... good luck

the xbox controllers are special, any other usb input device can't be used outside of the messenger - M$ did this to prevent/lower 3rd party controllers, similar to how they only accept M$ wireless adapters

Using new fire tv remote od Windows 10 PC

Hi, I'm trying to pair the new Fire TV remote (the one with volume control buttons) with my Asus T-100TA win10 PC to control KODI witch I use in the kitchen or while we go on a vacation. The old Fire TV remote (from Fire TV 4K) work only partialy and don't have the volume buttons.
The problem is I can't pair the new remote, it appears while adding a new bluetooth device screen as an AR controller, but has an error while pairing. I've tried to pair it with na new Dell laptop but had the same problem. I did however maneged to pair it with a Samsung android phone! all the buttons worked. I think there is a problem with Win10 bluetooth drivers, but I have no idea how to change them or what to look for.
The new Fire TV remote would be perfect for my Asus PC, it's small, has grat buttons and everything I want with a remote, and right now I'm not using it (I control my Fire TV via CEC protocol and a Harmony One remote).
Any help on how to pair the FTV remote witch a PC would be great.

Pairing NON-media/input Bluetooth devices (OBD2 dongle)

Hey everyone! I bought an Onn. Streaming Box at Walmart a couple of days ago, intending to run Torque Pro on my car's preexisting Backup Screen w/ a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle (a tiny $25 self-contained Android box seemed to make a lot of sense for that application). I sideloaded the Torque apk onto the box and used a remote app w/ mouse cursor to set up the layout, but when I went to finally pair the OBD2 dongle, it wouldn't pick it up. Since the screen just says "Accessories", I'm guessing you can only pair things like headphones, controllers, keyboards, etc.
I also tried sideloading "Bluetooth Direct", and forcibly connecting to my phone's Bluetooth address (just to test), and it couldn't connect (it seems like that app doesn't work for a lot of people though).
Is there any way around this?
I'm waiting for a powered OTG cable to be delivered today, so I can root and hopefully figure something out that way. It seems weird if it's really a limitation built into the OS, since regular android is buried underneath there somewhere, and it isn't like the box has some special Bluetooth hardware that limits it to certain devices.
If all else fails, maybe I could just get an OBD2 to USB cord and plug into an OTG, but idk if that would work either (it should on other Android devices).
And for anyone wondering, yes, the Android TV UI optimized for giant 4k TV's does not work well on a 5" 480p HDMI -> RCA screen, LOL.
Figured this out if anybody wants to do something similar, I just sideloaded the app "Bluetooth Scanner - Bluetooth finder - pairing" (com.pzolee.bluetoothscanner), and was able to pair it right away. I am running LineageOS and rooted with Magisk, but I'd think this should work on stock too.

(bluetooth) Paired device on android Tv paired but not connected ??

My TV & phone is paired but not connected - and Im having issues on how to connect them. I had them connected once before but do not know how I did it. Before I was able to successfully send a file via bluetooth from Tv to mobile phone, using the send file to Tv app. Does anyone know what I need to press/or do to re-connect the 2 paired devices ?
The worst part is all android Tv systems are all different - also on android 9 Tv they all different - Only on Sony its basically all automatic - not all have a Sony.
