Finger Print sensor version: null and massive lag when typing on keyboard?

Finger printer sensor version reads: null
Also on stock recovery: dm-verity verification failed
I think the issue started because I had another n910t phone, I made an ndroid backup of it it with twrp. I then flashed twrp, the same ROM( [ROM][5.1.1][DOK2]N5 Express 3.4D[Feb-21-16][N910T][N910W8][N910T3]), then did a ndroid restore on this new n910t phone and now finger print says null. I registered a finger print on the old phone, no private mode. I never registered one on the new phone or enabled private mode.
I tried a Kies/Smart Switch emergency recovery but no luck.
Any ideas? Possible to downgrade to 5.0.1, then do a Smartswitch emergency recovery?
Found a solution if anyone ever stumbles across this thread.
How it happened:
I did a full Twrp backup, including EFS on a n910T. I received a replacement n910t. I thought I could restore the twrp backup from the old straight to the new n910t. I was wrong. EFS is device depending and contains the individual phone info like imei,S/N,etc. Basically my new phone took characteristics of the old one and the EFS became corrupted. My fingerprint sensor didn't work and I had the "dm-vertiy verification failed. If the dm-verity fails, finger print sensor won't work.
How I repaired my EFS, or what I did to get it to work. Your mileage may vary.
All of this on stock rom: I got the stock from by using smart-switch and doing emergency recovery, entering my model number and serial number. I then cf rooted and flashed twrp using odin.
1. I check to make sure my IMEI and S/N numbers stored in the phone (about device) matched the sticker on the back. My IMEI matched but my S/N did not. My S/N was from my old phone, big whoops!
2. I corrected my S/N by editing the serial number file found under your EFS folder. You need root access to edit it. I use room toolbox lite, root browser to edit it.
3. Because my EFS became corrupted, my phone was in limp mode, eg it was slow and lagging, it was stuck in "factory mode".
4. I took the phone out of factory mode. Again you need root access and root browser. Go to EFS folder/factoryapp/factorymode and edit the file. Change it to off. Also go to efs folder/factoryapp/keystry and turn it off also. Reboot.
5. I entered this command:
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p13 (for N910G Note 4)
mkdir /efs
mount -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p13 /efs
6. Do a factory reset, reboot system
7. I then did a stock firmware flash again with smart-switch. Everything works again now. This time I will make sure I back up my efs but don't try to restore it.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.
Dear developers i need your help again
fingerprint sensor has stopped unexpectedly on my n910t and when i go to sensor test with *#0*# the sensor version is 0.0.0.0
and i need to flash android 6.0.1 on my note 4 with basic arabic language
anybody can help please?

S7 edge bootloop

Hi,
I realy need your help,
I have a S7 edge who is stuck at the samsung logo.
I have flashed some stock rom (all in 7.0) via odin 3.12 after a wipe factory but nothing. So i decided to try it with Kies and smartSwitch but still nothing.
I have access to recovery and download mode.
FRP lock: On
The phone is not rooted, and the usb debugging not enabled.
The phone print this in the download mode:
ODIN MODE
Download speed: FAST

Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
FRP lock: ON
Secure Downlaod: Enabled
Warranty Void: 0(0x000)

After the installation of the flashed rom in the download mode, the phone reboot with a blue screen, a progress bar but it stop to 32%, and then it is printed "erasing.." and the phone reboot and is still stuck.
I have re-tryed with Kies, now the phone is with a green screen with 2 white Gears : "android is starting" but it is still stuck (i let him all the night but nothing)
i don't know what to do

You have to use smart switch emergency recovery function to restore your phone. It is a stand alone function within smart switch.
All you need is your phone model and serial number.
Apparently you missed a step when preparing your phone for flashing.
Or you can continue to use Odin which when you plug the USB in will show that a connection is made even though the phone says it's not in download mode.

If that did not work, it looks like the memory chip on the mother board is damaged. Take it in if it is still under warranty.

To do the S7 FRP OFF - Put phone in download mode
Once phone is in download mode.
Flash the files which i will provide.
You Only need to flash boot.tar via odin for respective models (example for s7 use G930 Qualcomm folder) for (s7 edge use G935 Qualcomm folder)
Once you flash the boot tar file. The phone will reboot and it will enable ADB. Run the Bat file which i will provide and it will remove the FRP lock
Once done put the phone in Downlaod mode and flash stock ROM.
The whole process takes less than 10 mins.
Same Idea for S7 Exynos phones... put phone in downlaod mode and then flash the file (G930F(ENGroot) for s7 models & (G935F_Root for s7 edge models). Once done phone will reboot. Then use this bat file (g935f.bat). Once this is executed locks will be removed and phone will go in download mode. Flash stock Boot.img and ALL DONE.

After flashing boot.tar, when i run the .bat, it says error: closed
EDIT: i have to enter into the recovery mod and select "adb update" in order to make my phone detected by my computer
Those files are for the S7. Do they work for the S7 Edge also?
Edit - I tried it and it fails in odin. My phone is bricked.

Works !!!
Sorry to revive an old thread but I think it might help people recover from a bootloop with a bit of addtional explanation than initially provided.
So I have an S7 Edge as a backup phone and hadn't used it for a while. Google FRP was activated. I tried to update to a newer firmware through Odin (can't OTA since it's from Tmo and i'm in Canada). Anyways for whatever reason it failed in the middle and I was stuck in a bootloop that wouldn't stop. I tried downgrading, I tried factory, I tried new versions, nothing would do, I'm assuming because of FRP.
So I followed Rony Raj's post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71906126&postcount=17 but kept getting stuck. The thing is once you flash the proper Boot.tar file, the phone will appear to still be in a bootloop. You will have to go with the screen (the phone) and the sound of the connection and disconnection from your computer. So basically just sync with the sounds and time it so you open the ''S7 & S7 Edge QUALCOMM.bat'' file at the exact time your phone reconnects and it'll work. I had to do it about 6-7 times before i got it right.
When that is done your phone will restart in download mode. When you do just flash the latest version of the firmware you get from AndroidFileHos*.com or Sammobil*.com. Make sure you select all 4 files in Odin (BL, AP, CP and SELECT CSC HOME for CSC - NOT CSC).
Once all that is done your phone will restart and everything should be fine, well that worked for me
Thanks a lot to @rony raj for putting together the files and the steps to save my G935

Can't flash any Firmware after installing Factory Binary

Hello guys,
I need extremely technical help as no longer know what to do.
I have a*Galaxy*S7*Edge*device, which installed the*rom*Samsung Experience 9.0.
Later I*format data to exfat and it doesn't work. After then I flashed any Nougat Firmware and lost my Imei and Baseband.
Number.
I googled until I came to this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-e...ssues-t3379516
I followed all the steps explained, I back up EFS_backup and RADIO_bakcup partitions.
Installed FACTORY BINARY Firmware for G935F, everything went well. After restarted, already had the correct IMEI number but still did not present the S / N.
After all that, i tried to*install*Stock*Firmware*via Odin, from here started the problems that could not solve.
In the first attempt Odin stucked in "System" (also used the PITfile*with the same CSC ... .i do not know if I was right using PIT?). Restarted the*device*forcibly, entered the stock Recovery, did a complete wipe and always get this message "E: falied to*mountSystem*(Invalid argument), I returned to*install*Factory Binary, then reboot in Recovery and the same message no longer appeared.
Again I try to*install*the Stock*Firmware*and Odin always stucks in*System, or NAND writing, or Partition, etc. I've tried various Stock*Firmware, with and without PIT*files, always without success.
Only Factory Binary that successfully installs. The TWRP via Odin also but when*device*restarts to enter Recovery Mode always get the message at the top of the*display:
"Recovery image signature check Fail"
"Reboot to avoid Warranty bit set."
My Question also is: What do I wrong? Or is my Phone bricked?
Device:
Galaxy S7*Edge (SM-G935F) CSC = DBT = Germany
I really need help, please.
I am facing same problem with my s7 edge g935fd. But in my case i lost imei of both sim cards & lost baseband version. I tried z3x samsung tool. But i didn't found model g935fd there.
Waiting for help
I am having the same problem with an S7 (G930V). During one of the re-flashes, I was able to install the Samsung Product Info App. The CSC product code came up as blank. Not sure if this is normal for this state. Any leads would be appreciated.

Samsung S7 Edge Verizon [ SM-G935V ] can't flash official rom.

I have this S7 Edge Verizon which a few days ago gave me a problem. I was using the phone just for a few days. While using it, social media normal stuff it self restarted ( notice that it was pretty hot, but it's a usual thing at this point ) and it got stuck in logo.
P.S: I am really familiar with this kinda stuff because I work at a phone service.
So I tried the usual stuff, wiping cache and data but it didn't solve any thing. So I decided to flash official rom. I downloaded the oreo rom from sammobile and when I tried to flash it, it just skipped all files. I thought this would be due the verizon model, because it's bootloader was locked and oem unlock wasn't enabled. I tried to flash the firmware without the bootloader and with pit but no result. Than I decided to enable oem unlock throught combination file.
When I downloaded combination file, at the website it said G935V but it actually was G935A, and somehow it flashed successfully without any problems. But after reset the phone was stuck at the very first Samsung Logo with some cpu and voltage information at the top left corner with a warning saying RPMB provisioned.
At this point I thought I might as well flash the stock firmware again but this time I got bootloader error and trying to flash it without a bootloader it would skip all files saying something like " skipping all binary files " as before. Bare in mind that during all this testing the phone got really heated. So I let it cool for a while and still nothing happened. Than I decided to flash this boot_root file I found and it actually booted up the Combination Rom. I enabled usb debugging in the settings but there was no Oem Unlock option, not even grayed out ( maybe because the rom G935A does not have the option ).
Even the USB debug enabled it still couldn't flash stock rom because of bootloader error and some binary error also and again if i didn't include bootloader it would skip all files.
I was thinking of installing a custom rom but I found out that there is not twrp avaible for s7 edge verizon because of it's locked bootloader. And if I try to install supersu through adb it just doesn't work.
Now my download section looks like this
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G935A
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
FRP LOCK: ON (don't worrie about it, i got all the gmail info)
WARRANTY VOID: 0x0 (the warranty has expired anyways)

SECURE BOOT: ENABLE
IDOQ : G(42), S(12) mA
CPU SERIAL NUM : 0x1408501f
Fused open loop voltage: 970mV
RPMB PROVISIONED
The Samsung first boot up screen still has the RPMB PROVISIONED with the cpu information and also the custom flagg and I am able to boot up the combination rom.
I also tried to flash the official rom with z3x but it didn't solve anything. If you need any additional information just tell me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You need to download official firmware from another source. I recommend updato.com.
https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=4F3A1B13706611E89F15FA163EE8F90B
You need to flash the latest Oreo firmware for the Verizon SM-G935V because it sounds like your phone has issues with your current bootloader. Go back to the Verizon firmware first and see if the phone works normally. Also, flash the regular CSC file not CSC_HOME.
Help
I too have the same exact problem. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Need help!!! I believe I soft-bricked my Galaxy s8 SM-G950U

Hi recently I believe I soft-bricked my Galaxy S8 SM-G950U I was having trouble getting service on it, It would only work on like major roads so I knew something was wrong with it so I tried to get the device fully updated and everything by going in the setting menu in Android and doing it from there It still was doing the same issues. So I went about restoring it with OEM firmware with Odin, everything worked when I restarted it, it was running more smoothly and everything. So since I achieved doing that I was like might as well root it so I installed firmware in Odin then everything messed up I couldn't get into my boot-loader anymore. So I reflashed the stock files that originally worked at first and I was having the same issue. In the bootloader it's on a blue screen I see no command for a second and then it goes to installing updates and the screen keeps on flashing. I believe it's because I reflashed a firmware that had a loader bootloader I believe it was the v2 bootloader. I need the v3 bootloader for ATT galaxy I can't find it on any site preferably all the Odin files needed. Please any expert let me know if you experience this thanks!
