More than likely No one is going to help you. You may be able to take the death certificate to samsung somewhere and they can unlock it
Other than this is becoming a more and more common story being told by thieves as well So no one gets involved any more really....

[Q] Rooting the SM-G900S

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help with a small problem? I have a S5 the model number is SM-G900S_V01
I understand this is the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900S (Korea version) I wanted to root it and apply another ROM as there are some aspects of the ROM that fall short of the European version.
I have a couple of questions really, and would be most thankful if someone could answer them for me.
When I try to root the device by holding the Volume Down, Power and Home Buttons the the screen as seen below, lots of writing I can't understand, I am guessing it's Korean!
Try as I might I cannot get Odin to see the phone, the only other way I can change this screen is to hold the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons, then I get the other screen, I think this is the recovery screen and not something I need. So my questions are as follows:
1 Can I install the European version of the OS even though it's region is set to Korea?
2 Can anyone tell me how to get into the download screen so I can get Odin to work?
Thanks in advance for any help you maybe able to give me.
Yeah!
I have the same problem.
So...
is there some solution for this problem?

Maybe you all already know, but there is CF-Auto-Root for the SM-G900S.
And TowelRoot may also work for this device ... if its firmware is not too new. (Samsung patchd its latest firmware versions so that the exploit which TowelRoot uses for rooting.)
Sorry if the info comes too late ...

Do you find something to resolve the phone ? I am in the same situationes like you .
Finally the answer, well I think it is
Okay, after a lot of messing about I can tell you that this phone is a copy from China, it is a good copy at that, but the point being, you can do much with it to be fair. As far as I know there isn't a way to put another rom on it, but I did find these YT vids some help is explaining it all a little bit more.
Hope that helps someone

I Need Help: Need to Bypass Samsung Activation Lock

Hello. I bought a S5 from Ebay for Boost Mobile. Problem is that it has the Samsung Activation Lock still on. Ive done the searches all over the net and have come across URL="/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video"]/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video. I understand most of it but I can't find a workaround for the "findmymobile.samsung.com" part. Is there a way to do it on a S5. Don't Chastise Me. Im Not Nixon. I am not a crook. I paid for a phone with a clean ESN(I checked) and dont want to be stuck with a paperweight. Thanks in advance.
Searching for the S5 tutorial would have been better than the S6 ones lol

And flashing a KitKat ROM from sammobile first with ODIN works if you know the samsung account (If you locked yourself out of your own phone) for future reference
Sorry

Completely new to android system

Hi guys ,
I have recently brought a Samsung s7 edge on EE in the UK, I did but the phone second hand but appears to be working correctly to start .
The phone will not find any software updates or play pokemon go for my son and Samsung knox is also tripped out , says the software has been modified in a unauthorised way, I went to samsung and they said it has been rooted and void of warranty so all I can do is Give them £250 for a new motherboard for the phone.
I followed some instructions by downloading a terminal client and it's not showing me as having super user status on the device ,
.I've had I phones since day one and was loving the freedom of android but I really do find myself out of my league as I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff . I'm looking to either flash the phone back to its factory state or have the phone rooted properly to allow me to update etc
I'm very apprehensive about attempting this myself and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a idiots guide on how to or specialist on here who would do it for payment if I were to meet them somewhere with their laptop
I have tried Google searching but nothing much seems to make sense , thanks in advance
You want to flash a stock firmware. Get everything working OK first. Try "Updato" for fast firmware downloads. Try a "BTU" firmware. Download Samsung phone drivers and Odin. YouTube Odin very simple to use. Should restore your phone. Then look into rooting.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
The phone is modified in a way that it was rooted before, but prior to selling, the vendor unrooted it. Pokemon Go will not work on a rooted device.
First thing is to find the exact build of the phone (under software info in the about section of settings), then look for the corresponding firmware. Trustworthy sources is this forum and sammobile (I usually get my firmware files here). Samsung PC drivers can be found on the internet. Officially they are installed on the PC when you install Samsung SmartSwitch (Samsung's PC Backup and Updating software). Then download Odin. You will use that to flash the stock firmware back onto your phone.

you need to unroot and Relock the Bootloader
OTA updates doesn't work on some phones with unlock bootloader
follow this link and read carefully

The UK S7 Edge, which is the Exynos variant (G935F) doesn't have bootloader restrictions in that form, thus there is nothing to "relock".

Why do you link to an article on a questionable site, named exactly what I'd imagine a phishing, scammer website would call it to someone completely new to Android!? Seriously, stop linking to these weird a** pages. These pages only exist to generate traffic. They're not even ran by real people. The same exact text on that website is on five other websites, copied and pasted. This is not productive. New users need assistance that's going to help them in the long term. They have to understand the process.
@Elliottsdaddy You want your device restored to its original state. Unrooted. The process of unrooting by flashing a stock firmware is fairly complicated for a newbie and requires you to extensively read and comprehend the tutorial/process. Seriously. There is a lot that can go wrong. I'm gonna ask you to follow the link below. It's a tutorial, posted on XDA by one of our senior members @henklbr. If you have questions, first use the search function and see if your question has already been answered by someone. If not, feel free to ask and give enough detail so people can help you appropriately.

How did you Bypass FRP?
I have the same phone.
I have been trying without any luck.
Thanks
You can find step by step instructions on bypassing FRP here: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=755326&st=700#entry63511470
Just use google translate if you don't understand Russian. Hope link to the needed files there is still active.

it is better to create new thread and share guide in english so everyone can understand easily without getting into any trouble.

really not one single person here knows the answer... I thought you guys knew stuff

I have been searching for the definitive answer on the T-Mobile Variant of Galaxy SM-g935t if it can be rooted .... I have tried magisk ,cfautoroot, i extracted lz4s i think I have downloaded every odin. I have removed my accounts, google and Samsung b4 attempting root ... I've side loaded and SD card updates from recovery and every time this SOB boots its untouched and plays that damn T-Mobile jingle I wanna scream ...... I still cant find out if its all been a great learning exercise or if it is even root able at all ... I have read all the strings here and each one seems to contradict the other .... Is there any way to find the answer ???? any and all info is hugely appreciated ... but if u wanna make fun and mess with me expect same in return ... TONY
