No phonecall when Bluetooth + network

I found out some strange bug:
When my TYTN is connected to the network (UMTS) and bluetooth is switched on too I can not make telephone calls. TYTN starts dialing but disconnects after 5 sec. (No errormessage, but plays a sound 3 times (something like: ding…ding…ding).
Incoming calls do not get trough too (Only busy tone).
When I switch off Bluetooth or network connection everything works fine again.
I searched this forum up and down, but found no answer.
Am I the only one or did somebody notice this bug too?
i found that i cannot use my phone at all if i restart my phone with BT and wifi on somtimes, removing the bt and wifi seems to fix it for me. strange eh?
i often get phone failed.
Its annoying. I am always afraid that I forget to switch off the Networkconnection after I have checked emails or was surfing in the internet.
Its the basic purpos of a phone to be reachable.
Am I the only one with this problem? Is something wrong with my phone?
Sorry to poll this.
But nobody else has noticed this?
Hey folks,
Am I the only one with this bug ?
Really need help for this problem
I forgot to post that my problem has gone.
It definitly was a network problem caused by my networkprovider "One Austria" (now Orange).
After a long call with the technical support they changed some of their serversettings
and wow this problem is gone.
Never happened again (since 6 month)
Hope this helps someone

Skype

Anyone else using skype on their Herald??? Have you been experiencing the I can hear you but you can't hear me problem??? Just started to use skype recently and I think its great, this is my only issue right now. Been searching through a few threads but themost relevant thread on this issue has about 100 pages. AFAIK the pdaviet roms include the VOIP configs in the rom....anyone got a fix???
I use skype on my herald (pdaviet rom version 14) every now and again. I get that "I can hear you but you can't hear me" thing frequently only when I use (tmobile edge)/gprs connection. I can only assume that the connection is not fast/reliable enough, which is why it's highly recommended that one use 3G or WIFI for skype calls. Being that tmobile doesn't have 3G service, my only other option to get better and clearer call quality with Skype, is to use WIFI. For me, using wifi with skype on my herald, the call/reception is much much clearer and more stable, and people on the other end notice very little difference in call quality. I don't expect skype calls to be as clear and analog or gprs anyway. But it'll do hope this helps.
Ye I guess that the issue is maybe poor signal quality then as I am catching a wi-fi signal from the basement to the second floor most of the time. Although, this problem doesn't happen with an HTC Vox I'm using, (just upgrading for a friend...for the record I think SP's are $#|T) ill make a few test calls with stronger signal...and hopefully this problem will disappear.
Thanks for the input
btw:thats a funny quote....lol.....had to think on that one for a second

[Q&A] Dialer Echo Problem

I have a really annoying Problem with my phone. When someone is calling me and talks nearly everyone tells that they hear a echo of themselve. I had this issue in the 2 4.4.4 Roms Form Danvh and now on the cm12 from netanalyzer. Is there a way to solve it?

Hi ,
Is the microphone cover?? if so uncover it , try it also without the phone back cover
Try to clean the microphone
Disable noise cancellation
Try and select under network the different bands available ( wcdma , 2G , 4G) to see if it is band related...
Cover oft no change. Clean isnt nessesary cause my phone got repaired had a hard crash. Where do i disable the cancelling in cm12? And isnt the cellular netwerk disabled during call?

Hi,
That it got repaired does not mean it has been cleaned...
do not know where it is in CM , on TW is in settings / my device/sound / call
during a call , unless you are using viber, skype or something like that you have to use your carrier network m there are different bands like wcdma , GSM......( mobile networks)
Was the sound in your phone working correctly before the "hard crash" repair?
Before the crash everything were fine. The complete screen module and some Sensor were replaced. The network and cancelling i try today. (Germany a BI different time)

[Q] Activating Download booster for VOIP Phone calls

Hi there,
I was wondering if it is possible to use the download booster feature to do VOIP calls while driving.
I would use the internal modem (with one carrier) and an external 4G modem as WiFi source (with a different carrier) to make the internet signal globally more stable and be able to make VOIP calls while driving (with the handsfree )
It would be really useful, IMHO....
Is there any trick to do that ?
Thank you!
To be perfectly honest, I never saw a difference. i don't really know if this option works and if it does, I can only asume that it's like every cool feat. on the phone. Will only work with samsung software and nothing else.
