I dont know which method you used but you need to flash a custom kernel after the rom afair. Did you flash the one?
Press and hold volume down, home button and the power key until you get to the Download mode screen.
Press volume down to restart.
Immediately press and hold volume up, home button and power button.
You will see a message about "Installing system update..." which will then change to a Recovery Mode screen.
Use the volume keys to select the factory reset option.
Press power key to confirm that choice.
Once the wipe is complete, use the volume up/down keys to select "Reboot device now" and press the power key.
After a few years of sitting dormant, I found my Note 3 in a drawer a few days ago (thought i sold it on Swappa) ...
I used what I thought was the correct process to return it to stock:
- Turn off device
- Simultaneously hold VOL UP, HOME, POWER
- Release POWER when you see the Note 3 logo
- Release VOL UP & HOME when you see the System Recovery screen
- VOL UP after warning
- Using VOL DOWN choose WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET
- Select using POWER button
- Using VOL DOWN choose "Delete ALL User Data"
- Select with POWER button
- Highlight REBOOT SYSTEM
- Select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW using POWER button
Upon reboot, the device went to the fresh set up screen (choose language, connect to wifif, etc) but Safestrap and Alliance Rom were still installed.
So I am wondering what the correct OR updated way to return to stock is, or where that can be found, as the few I have found haven't worked, and it's been SO LONG since I ran the Note 3, I honestly don't remember much about it at all.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Did u get the solution?
If yes, how did u do it?
Otherwise u have to hold volume down + home button then press power button, release all n PES's volume up to enter download mode, at that state u have to connect to the computer & flash firmware via Odin
Hi!
I've got an Samsung Galaxy S7 since 2017.
Due to an app i wanted to use i tried to Root my phone. It did work but not all apps worked properly so i tried to unroot it.
As it did seem to work but i was still a bit sceptic i decided to do a factory reset to completely empty it.
While doing the factory reset my phone crashed... also found out that i didn't have my OEM allowance on so i can't even enter my phone anymore as it says Custom binary locked by FRP Lock.
I emptied the data / cache and tried to factory reset but it wouldn't do anything.
I tried flashing my phone with the samsung firmware for the S7 with odin, BUT my phone doesn't respond at all.
it just keeps standing on Downloading... do not turn off target. Even if Odin tries to write onto the phone nothing happens, even tho the downloader should respond. Tried different Cables as well. As of now i have no idea what to do left to get in there. i tried for hours, tried different firmwares, but nothing responds... Anyone having tips for me?
When you tried with oden where you in download mode or still on the boot screen with the lock message?
You can't flash if your not in download mode.
to get in download you shoud normally by pressing the Volume Down, Home and Pose On/Off button together for about 3-4 seconds.
Once the Download screen appears, press Volume Up button to continue.
you could give this a try
Press the Power On/Off button and Volume Down button simultaneously for 5-7 seconds as shown below.
Wait for the phone to reboot and start again normally.
See that the Custom Binary Block error message does not pop-up this time.
if not then you could try .
Another useful way to bypass/remove the FRP Lock error is to perform a factory reset on your phone. This can be implemented by booting into the Recovery Mode. To do so:
Long press the Power On/Off, Home and Volume Up button together and was for a screen with multiple options appear before you.
Now use the Volume Down key to scroll down and select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” using the Power On/Off button as shown in the screenshot below.
Wait patiently for the process to get over and for your phone to restart normally.
Note: you will lose all your data and setting stored in the phone after performing a factory/ hard reset.
Be prepared to set-up your phone from scratch after the process is over.

Hi,
Out of nowhere my nexus 10 is in april bootloop. At the Google logo it restarts, so after about 5 seconds. I've tries power button + volume down, this results in the screen with android bot on back, text below: Downloading, do not power off. This is not the screen with a red exclamation Mark. I cannot get to this screen.
Then after 2 seconds in the screen, it reboot again. The buttons do not work in this screen.
The computer does not detect the tablet (because it keeps rebooting probably.
Thnx in advance for advice
Put your device in Bootloadermode by pressing all the buttons. An android without text should be in the middle. (if u wanna boot in recovery push volum up or down to navigate and with the power button you do what is written on the left side like"start" or "recovery" etc.)
For resetting it to Stock rom just follow this guide
u will need to download "Nexus Root Toolkit" for this Guide
1.Put your device in bootloader like mentioned befor but dont start anything just let it be. Plug the tablet in.
2. Open"Nexus Root Toolkit"
3. Open it up and then select "Softbricked/Bootloop" then klick on "Flash stock + Unroot"
4.If it says that your device isnt unlocked or u noticed that the Lock state of the device is on Locked then u can unlock it with the "unlock bootloader" option and then repeat step 3.
5. Follow the setup on the screen and then you are good to go.
