Hello,
I recently bought KZ ZS6 in-ear monitors, with bluetooth module. They connect to my H870 fine, but playback is constantly interrupted. This only happens on my G6, I tested headset with other devices and it works fine.
After I play a song, it plays for a while, then the sound just breaks, and returns to normal after 1-2 seconds. This happens all the time, for all the players I tested.
Any idea how to fix it? I've tried factory reset, toyed a little bit with Bluetooth developer settings, but nothing seems to work :'(

hi to All,
i would like to report my experience with the motorola ht820: it works in all modes, from AVRCP to Voice command to A2DP (Bluetooth stereo).
However, the only problem i still have is quite annoying:
under BT stereo mode, the music stream is lost at irregular intervals (on average, 0.5 secs every 30 secs to give you an idea.
I tried everything, including hard resets. The problem was SLIGHTLY better with a naked OS, but still there. Overall, i am fantastically happy of the test rom.
Anybody that has the same problem? anybod that doesn't have the same problem?
i am using media player 10 and, of course, the test rom with A2DP.
Thanks indeed for any reply,
All the best
Piero
I have the same Problem with Anycom Stereo Headstet BSH-100.
Greetings I try playing music via the Itech bluetooth capable headphone, (not headset) I have successfully paired it and all, i also had set it to stereo mode, here comes the problem, when i try to play via the player all i would hear is the start of the music maybe for 1.5 seconds then... nothing, music continues to play on the phone but there is no sound coming from the phone nor the headphones. I already tried different ROMS but to no avail same result so i am thinking it is not the ROMS I tried the tomal and lucathebig ROMS, I am stuck i don't know how I could do this help please? thanks.
I am quite sure that my bluetooth is not broken since I could pair with the pc and also the headphones
ok, I tried to switch off the bluetooth headphones while the music was playing and the music continues to play on the uni's speakers, so it means that the music is playing only it is not streaming to the headphones. Any help or idea will be appreciated
I think I broke my A2DP bluetooth...
Was using it fine with two different "model Ebay" stereo headests. Yesterday I could not get any music played and later tested with another one, same problem. Pairing and connecting goes ok and device shows that everything should be fine. But when playing music, I can hear some clicks and cracks. Sounds like decoding would be badly broken.
Strange thing is that I paired U8800 with my laptop that supports playing music from phone through A2DP and it worked fine! Also ruled out possibility that both headsets would be broken by testing with my wifes U8800, worked like a charm.
Any ideas? Is there anyway to "reset" bluetooth settings or some cache crap related to A2DP? Somehow I suspect that this problem relates to devices that I have already once paired with phone... Since new device (laptop) worked fine.
Have rebooted, dismounted battery, removed all bt pairings... I bet flashing in ROM would help, but not very tempting just because of this.
Have no idea why this happend, only changes to anything that could relate to A2DP was installing and uninstalling Doubletwist player.
Could you figure out the reason for your broken a2dp connection? I have the same issue with my car's stereo and my Galaxy SII. Worked fine until some days ago. Now everything _seems_ to be fine (avrcp is working, when I change volumen on the device I see 'bluetooth media' popup) but I don't hear anything.
Already tried the steps you described, too.
Trying to use a Motorola s10-hd with my nexus 4 and the headset pairs fine and the controls on the headset can skip tracks, enable voice search and turn volume up and down but the audio still only plays through the phone not the headset. Wtf?!?
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Tried resetting the headset and rebooting phone but still same issue.
Yup. Same headphones, same issue. Some more info: I use P.A.C. 20.1.0 with Franco kernel milestone 1. The headphones initially work upon first discovering but never works after that. The sound plays through the phone speakers even though it says connected. Really frustrating. Tried unpairing, rebooting, resetting the headphones, to no avail.
headphones: beats studio wireless
2.4ghz band stopped working when headphones are connected
-temporary solution: switched to 5ghz band. no issue
netflix would buffer to 99%, audio would start playing but screen was still buffering
-temporary solution: turn off headphones, let video play, turn headphones back on
kodi, hulu and youtube worked fine.
overall i was pretty happy with my experience. im most proud to say that the nexus player is not plagued with the audio lag that come with other devices.
I've had issues with BT headset quality too, since trying post Marshmallow update.
It would have of course been best, if there was a headphone jack in the remote, like Roku and Nvidia Shield have.
It seems the use of a BT headset, somehow puts a burden on the overall Wifi connection of the device, or something. Given you found 5Ghz works better. With Roku and Shield, the headphone jack works great no matter the connection, if you can get it to play on the TV, it will play with no issues via the wireless headphone jack of Roku and Shield.
I don't know why Nexus Player BT headset audio is so unstable. But it's disappointing. That the claimed benefits of Marshmallow for the Nexus Player, are found to be less than stellar once put to use.

Thanks I was looking for a fix or workaround for that issue with netfilx. My workaround was just to cast from my tablet or phone. A little annoying as sometimes I don't have my tablet or phone around.

I just got the OTA update to 6.0 and yes, while I was thrilled to get bluetooth headphone capability this problem with Netflix takes the fun out of it. I'm not convinced it's really buffering, I think it's just refusing to switch to the video framebuffer output for some technical reason when the bluetooth audio sink is selected, so the buffering spinner never goes away.

It's surprising how well this works in terms of being consistent and repeatable (usually these kinds of tricks result in hanging or crashing if you use them more than once), but unfortunately it only works until you have to use the UI to skip or even pause, then it's gone and you have to do it again.
Update: There is also a bluetooth audio problem with Kodi under 6.0: While UI sounds and at least some local files play back fine with bluetooth audio, in certain other streams, including all the YouTube videos and World News Live channels I tried, bluetooth audio is absent unless you do the above trick where you connect the bluetooth device after it starts playing.
The symptom is almost the exact opposite of what you get with Netflix in that, unless you do this trick the video streams but the audio doesn't, where in Netflix the audio streams but the video does not appear.
It's also pretty ridiculous that there is no way to disconnect a bluetooth device from the Nexus side, which means that once it's paired, the headset will connect to the player whenever you turn it on. Which is irritating if you have other devices you want to use it with, like phones and tablets -- all of which do let you disconnect a bluetooth device without unpairing or turning bluetooth off.
