Hi,
My phone is softbricked so I've to recover my files. For that reason, I'm trying to flash exact same software with HOME_CSC file. But It fails at hidden.img, what should I do for that? The important point is that I need my files so I shouldn't wipe the data.

Regards.
Does anyone have any idea?

Yes. I've tried with v3.13.1 which is latest afaik. But I've figured out that my phone has hardware issue. I'm trying to get my files back without flashing ROM.

Flash via PDA in Odin. Use at your own risk, you will be unrooted and fully bloated DI01 after flash. Good for returning to stock, or fixing your breaks.
Please note:
While this should remove Voodoo 4/5 (and anything else), you should take all other paths to remove it first.
Flashes:
Modem
Kernel
System
Recovery
Formats:
Dbdata
Data
Cache
Does not include:
Recovery.
You can get recovery as a separate package if you really need it, from the stickied Odin thread.
My question is that I unziped the package and I see boot, cache.rfs, dbdata.rfs, factoryfs.rfs, modem, movinand, param.lfs, recovery, sbl, zimage. Ok....it says that I have to flash modem, kernel, system, and recovery....but where is kernel and system...???? and for the formatting part...where or which one is the Data??
And my final question is do I just open those stuff on PDA? through using odin?
I am sorry guys...I am just so nube...and I read more than 100s of replies but I dont understand or dont see my questions....so please help me experts!!!!
Wait, what? You don't unzip anything. Just put the package in the PDA box in odin. I just got done doing this.
It's just telling you what it does...doesn't mean you go taking those files out. Like I said, just put the whole file in the pda box in odin

TWRP is not compatible with our devices, you need to use SafeStrap. Here is a link to the files you'll need.

Yes, it will wipe everything. If you're soft bricked it's going to be the only way to recover from it.

I'm not 100% sure on that.
Edit: Pull the recovery.img and convert it to a .tar.md5 file then you can flash it.
I odined the eng boot.img without thinking about backing up first and now stuck on tmobile screen during boot up. Is it possible to flash a stock boot to get back in or reflash whole software without it wiping all of my data?

Try going into the stock recovery and wiping your data. It should boot but it will also wipe your phone. It sounds like you need to use Odin to flash the stock firmware. It will also wipe your data if you do that.
Sent from my SM-G930P using XDA-Developers mobile app

Original software. APB6 I think its called. Also if I do end up having to wiping(which I hope I wont need to) should I update to latest firmware?
Download your original firmware from Sammobile.
Then you can try to extract the AP file. Then extract the boot.img file from that.
Then you can try this script to convert the boot.img to an md5 file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446269
THEN try to flash it via odin.
Here's the boot.img from the PD8 file converted to a tar.md5 file. Might work. Guess you don't have anything to lose.
(Unzip it first obviously)

Expected as much. To to update your firmware. Seriously. Why not? PD8 is rootable and you won't be able to update after you root.

I flashed using ODIN 3 and with the AP, BL, HOME_CSC, and CP files. I got an error saying that the ext4 was invalid and flashed again using the PIT file and checking the first three options on the options tab. The latter method got a PASS from ODIN but the phone boots into recovery and fails to install the system update, and it goes into the recovery menu. Not really sure what to do from here...

Use ODIN 3.12, grab the PK1 or PJ2 you need from the link below. When selecting the CSC, do NOT select the one with Home. Good luck.

I downloaded the original firmware from SamMobile, but the .zip file does not have a CP file. Any idea where I can get one for the SM-T580 (WIFI)?
You have a WiFi Only version of the Tablet. It does not have a radio/modem installed by default. So the firmware will not have the Cell Processor file.

I suspected that, thanks!
Quick question, if I go into TWRP and format data, then advance wipe everything and flash stock will my device be brand new and clean of any potential malware? I have unistalled magisk and done this recently.

Well generally speaking yes, especially if you use the nand erase all button in ODIN. But I've come across 2 different things that could create a persistent partition that could survive a data reset.

Did the firmware work for you from Sammobile? I have the custom binary blocked by frp and can't seem to flash the files with odin
Thanx for asking this particular question! I've spent the last 3 days on the Internet, trying to find that information. Many thanx to Delgoth for that answer.
