My kid tried to put micro usb cable into axon7 charging port, which broke the pins of charging port.
Axon 7 is not available in India and no service centers also. Is it possible to replace this charging port with some other phone port.
I went to local mechanic and he tried with OP2 and Pixel phone charging port. But they did not fit.
Any suggestions.

If you can't get a new port, it will need a new mainboard. Possibly better just to replace the phone.

He'll just need the USB PCB like this one ^^. Not a whole new mainboard.

That's good to know
So next question, how old is it? If over a year, maybe have a new battery in it whilst it's apart.

lol if you buy that you'll have to desolder the old one's pins and solder the new. They are SMD and have very little spacing so you'll need experience and a lot of patience to solder it right.
Long story short: Too difficult, simply buy the module that has the port soldered to it and replace it. It is as simple as taking the broken one off and putting the new one, then snapping the connectors in place
I just ordered this yesterday. USB PORT https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-ZTE-Axon-7-A2017-USB-Charger-Charging-Port-Dock-Connector-Flex-Cable-Part/163157945601?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Just wondering if you've had success with the boards you ordered and the phone connects to your service provider all right?
Want to ask a follow-up question since I actually had somewhat the same problem (my charging port melted from what I assume to be a faulty cable). I ordered the daughterboard like the one you linked from a Chinese seller, the phone booted up alright but it gets no service, so I'm just wondering if you've had success getting service after you changed the board? I also started my own thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/a2017u-service-daughterboard-charging-t3841038

Yeah I did, I made sure that I connect the skinny one on the right as well as the main flex cable. The old daughterboard with the destroyed port gets service when I put it back in but the new one I got doesn't. So I was wondering if anyone has successfully used one of those daughterboards and gotten service.. Maybe the daughterboard comes from a Chinese version and is having trouble reading SIM from the American version of the stock ROM?

Check the contacts that touch on the antenna pads of the aluminum backplate. Maybe it's got something to do with that

That's checked as well, no problem there. Works with the old daughterboard but not the new one. I think that I got the Chinese version of the daughterboard and my phone is the American version... Was it the same for you when you changed your daughterboard/phone? Did you get service right away? If you have the US version, where did you get the board?
This is relevant to the OP as well since the replacement bought from Aliexpress most likely comes from an A2017 (Chinese) not A2017G(global) or A2017U (US).

Try Ebay (jasjar flex cable) you can found it at about 100USD + Shippment
Otherwise you can try to search a China web site but often they can't accept orderd less than 500USD ...
Another option... is to Try to gsmforum . There are some indian people that can sell you this object...BUT without website... and any kind of warranty .
Bye

Soldering??
I have a question for you all.
As my uni currently stands it has a pice of folded paper covering the coax conections under the battery to hold them down.
Now as this is all running sweet with only the odd crash in the past month or so.
Do I pull it all aprt and solder the connections in place? Or do I just leave the paper and keep things as they are.
I am off work all next week so I was looking to solder then.
Gingerchristopher
I'd keep the folded paper as long as it works.
Well I was trying to tighten the hinges on my G2, and because of a stupid mistake a tore the ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to the motherboard... I'm looking to buy a broke G2 so I could install that keyboard on my phone. Or even if someone knows where to buy the keyboard itself? Thank you.
Check ebay, I get all sorts of parts from there. Hong Kong ftw
I have a broken Desire Z... I'm not sure if the parts are swappable?. The phone wont boot, pretty sure the emmc chip was fried. But other then that everything is basically like new, barely got to use the thing. PM me if you're interested.

Hmm thats gonna be a hard one to find...your best bet is to go to a local Phone repairing service and ask them if they can get it for ya. Or you can contact LG themselfs and ask for a replacement .
Goodluck mate.
Cheapest would be find a broken up nexus 4 on eBay for like 150-200 and switch the boards or become a master solder

My phone was turned off while charging and it does not turn on at all. motherboard burned. Please help me if you know a place where I can find a motherboard selling board.
You probably do not need the full motherboard. are you sure that it wasn't just the usb card that was burned? Obviously get rid of the usb cable. BTW, this happened to me also.

X720 Motherboard ( will work with X727)

Edit: sorry its $126 ( Ripoff!) Might as well buy another phone at that price.
Buy the way, we have 4 Leeco phones in our house
You can buy the Leeco x522 for just $107 on Amazon and it has a snapdragon 625 processor and is pretty freaking sweet for just over a hundred bucks. Maybe consider buying that instead of fixing this one.

Thanks for your help, my friend. I want to use this phone. because the phone is very nice. I'm thinking of taking AliExpress. Is there any risk that the motherboard is problematic?

Aliexpress has a money back guarantee.
I don't know the specifics. Because, I haven't ordered from them. But, I have been told that they are reputable and offer a good warranty.
Again, be sure its not the USB card.
I thought my motherboard was fried but it turned out being the USB card, which is extremely easy to fix.
Another option if you live near a large city, take it to a shop that does repairs at the component level.
There is repair through mail shops such as : Louis Grossman at https://www.rossmanngroup.com he has become well known for his YouTube channel. The guy knows his stuff, and I understand that his pricing is fair. Plus, he has several technicians employed so his repairs are fast. His speciality is Apple. But, he repairs android as well.
There are many shops like his: I.E : https://www.ittechrepair.com/ it may save you the headache and some money to use a professional shop that has the tools to do micro soldering repairs.
Good luck.

Can you sell me my friend?
Hi i need to buy charge board which is at bottom of phone but i couldnt decide which one i must buy https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bB3FUtUU this one is looking like good but i dont know is it fake or original. Maybe there is not an original one but i dont want to break my phone. What would you suggest?
Looks good to me - normally you have to solder on the vibrator unit taking it from your old board if it's not original.
Bought a copy for my idol 3 from ali and it worked fine go for it.
