First time use a samsung coming from lg , im stuck on autoconnect bluetooth, i leave bluetooth active 24/7 get in the car start the car and no autoconnect i must enter to bluetooth menu and select the device ,enter pass and then work like a charm until i power off the car.
On lg g3/g4/g5/g6, iphone 5/6/7 , even test with huawei , no problem working like a charm music autostart bluetooth autoconnect in 5-10 sec , samsung.....must enter in menu every time
Last update exynos . Please help.

Hi, sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else, but I haven't seen it.
I'm on my second M5k (the first one had serious radio issues), this one has bluetooth problems.
I've paired it with my Parrot car kit (which has always worked fine), but recently the car asks me to pair a device everytime its powered on. Likewise, I've just paired a BT GPS & it's connecting but not really seeing the device. In the BT manager, both devices now have a ? icon on the left rather than a headset etc.
Any ideas whats going on?

Check on your outgoing port settings in bluetooth settings, if there is a tick in the secure connection, uncheck it and see if that works.

On a side note, its been sat next to me for an hour with wifi on, connected to the pc & its just shut down with 52% battery left. When this thing doesnt wanna play, it really is the biggest waste of money i've ever had (course, for that 5 mins that it works properly its the greatest thing i've ever spent my money on).

i have been tried all WM6 ROMs released here , all have this big problem in connection wuth blue tooth handsfree devices: they connect briefly and good interconnection meanwhile the handsfree is in the range (about 10 meters) after putting out the handsfree device more than 3 minutes out of the device distance range and then go back to distance range the connection cant recognized automatically between handset and handsfree (if u go out of range and back as soon the connection initialized but if u stay more than 2-3 minutes and then turn back to range no chance to auto reconnect of handsfree bluetooth and u must press the key on handsfree device to initialize connection althought no need to reenter passkey) , this problem ic common at all the coocked WM6 roms but not in the WM5 roms.
this the only (but very BIG and dissappointing) problem of useful and pretty looking WM6 roms would u anybody please solve yhis big problem.
****i tried all registry and software tricks not solved and only turning back to the WM5 solved this problem*****

Im a litle bit frustated , trying to pair a HCB-120 car kit.
First time I did worked as all manuals explain detailled , but , I got an error after introducing password, I didn´t pay much atention because devide worked as expected .
Problem begins when I delete configuration on BT and try to pair it again .
Never work again last step , pasword intro never apears , looks like device link properly , but after a few seconds car kit goes out .
I have tryed to change my phone name to force it to a new pair process , but all is the same .
Any help ?

Soft reset your x1 before you start.
On your X1 turn on bluetooth and make sure it is set to visible.
Set up your bluetooth device so that it can be found (put it in pairing mode).
Use your x1 to set up a new pairing - enter password if needed.
After your device has been paired with your x1, check to see that your x1 will automatically connect when in range (not sure what the settings are at the moment).
Once a pairing has been set up it shouldn't need to be changed.

this is what happening:
Got a brand new Kenwood KDC-BT6544U , paired with my Samsung Omnia i900 for handless calls, no synchronization between them becouse device is not compatible with Remote Sim (grrr....) , ok that's not a problem .... manual synch of more important contacts.
All done, ok, pushed contacts are in Phone Book.
Reboot Kenwood.
All data just sent from Samsun i900 to Kenwood seems vanished... NO DATA is shown...
Phone is paired, and outgoing/incoming calls could be done, but no address book (manual synched phone numbers) are shown....
BUT
if I go in Bluetooth services , tap on Kenwood car-stereo device , and select "Set as headphone", on Kenwood device bounce up:
"HF Disconnected" "HF Connected" and all my before sent contacts are there!
So, finally the question: There is any way , probably with a mortscript, to understand, when first pairing operation happens (every time car stereo is sitted in on its location and powered on) to do an automatic operation of Samsung Omnia described as up (Bluetooth services -> Kenwood tap -> Set as headphone) ??
Please don't kill me

Currently using CyanogenMod-3.9.9.1 (after nights of reading before I flash the ROM...)
Bought a new bluetooth handsfree VOYAGER 855 (mainly for listen to music) recently and here is the problem.
It can connects the first time and play music, calls and game with no problems BUT if I either switch off the device or disconnects the device from setting or disable bluetooth I cant make the media connects again (Phone call is fine but not everything else)
Only solution is re- boot my magic....which is really annoying
Also, other minor thing is whenever I plug my Magic to a PC (never connect before), the phone just restart itself without any messages/notification/errors is that normal

Really tempted to try HERO roms but bluetooth is one of my concern but now...
Have u tried going into the bluetooth settings long pressing the headset then enabling media? Easiest way for me is Just disconnecting it then pairing it up again I also have the 855 and get this problem every now and then.
I've try many ways includes unpair and pairing.
inital disconnect from phone, inital disconnect from device, disable bluetooth.
but still I need to reboot my phone to get media to works.
and what device name it shown on the device list on yours?
It just show 8XXPlantronics on mine and it show once with 855 but i dont get it again after unpair that time. more, is your one asking for the key "0000" when connects, after I try un/pairing 50 times yesterday it just occassionally asked ~ 5 times.
