[Q] Who can help provide a motorola official update.zip file?

My milestone 2 is completed bricked and can't be recognized by PC. But I can log in the official recovery screen. I have downloaded a update.zip file from a link （not sure if it is an official link, as I can't find it through Motorola website). It prompted "signature error" when installed. Not sure anyone can provide an update.zip file, so that I can try if I can save my Milestone2. Thanks in advance!

as long as you can enter the stock recovery. your device isn't bricked. did you try to do a full wipe in stock recovery? did you try to use another usb port in bootloader mode? sometimes you get a black screen in bootloader mode, but you pc recognizese your device very well. did you install all drivers on your pc?

1. I have tried full wipe, but didn't work. The machine reboot again and again;
2. I have tried another usb port, another PC and even another operating system (win7 and winXP), also didn't work.
3. I am sure I have installed the drivers, as PC can recognize my phone when it is OK before;
As I can only entered the official recovery screen, I think I can try if it worked when I update with an official update file. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions and reply!

hi,guy.i think you should do the curect usb driver for your pc recongnizing first. than choose a ringt bootlaoder offical ROM. curse your phone can login the rockrecovery screen means its ok! isn't?

I think the only way for you to get an update.zip is with another milestone 2 running froyo, that way you can update it via OTA, and before the phone reboots, take the update.zip from the /cache partition.

[Q] Huawei C8815 not able to Boot "Image Signature Verify Fail"

I have Huawei C8815, I am facing the following situation
I installed the stock ROM with 3 keys method, than i unlocked the network with networkunlock.bat file.
Later I tried to install one ROM by CWM Recover and I toggled Signature Verification to OFF
When I restarted my phone, It Shows "Image Signature Verify Fail"
1. My phone is not going to Recovery Mode Menu by Vol+ and Power button.
2. My phone is not going to ADB mode by VOL- and Power button.
In both these situations my phone shows "Image Signature verify fail" Install the image with correct signatures.
3.When I try to install the stock ROM by pressing Vol+ and Vol- and Power button, after step 1 in step 2 it says Update failed.
As per my knowledge when network is unlocked the phone will not accept the stock ROM. For Relocking the network we have a tool OFFICIAL FIRMWARE.BAT but for running the bat file the phone must be loaded in ADB mode. My phone is not loading adb drivers in any situation.
It is showing only drivers Android Sooner adb interface.
In this driver environment i cannot do any adb function with my phone.
What to do? I am stuck
I dont know much about JTAG and all. If anything is possible to do with JTAG or any other method, Please guide me in this matter

Have you worked it out? I flashed OEM partition carelessly with the img from g610c and get exact that you faced. btw, does your networkunlock.bat file work with the simlock ? please share if you don't mind, thanks

nothing happened, i sent back device to China and they sent new one. now working great

Lg g2 stuck at logo. No download /recovery

Dear sir,
I'm having lg g2 32gb D802T. I tried rooting my device with king root app, uninstalled google play books app. Later removed root access and uninstalled the king root app.
Then whenever I reboots my phone , it started showing critical error.
Then I tried resetting my phone. It ended up with boot loop.
Then I tried flashing kitkat stock rom of D802T kdz file through LG flash tool 2014. But it's stuck at 40%. From then it's showing multiple removable drives in system, asking for format.
Then I tried copying twrp recovery and other IMG files through linux dd commands. Then it's boot logo is also gone and ended up with only blank screen whenever I starts my phone.
Then I tried un brick using SRK tools. And files were copied.
Now it's showing boot logo and going blank dark screen in on condition. The following were also observed.
1. Still showing as Qhsusb bulk mode with many removable drives asking for format.
2. Not getting download mode, when connected to pc with volume up button in hold.
3. When connected to charger with power button in hold condition, it's notification LED is blinking in red.
4. When I tried with power+ volume down keys it's showing a reset screen. Asking for reset options yes/ no.
When I tried reset with yes. It's again going blank.
Please help in getting my device normal.

I got solution for this.
I got my phone back to life.
As my phone is in qhsusb_bulk mode, i tried SRK tools for copying boot, aboot,laf....etc .img files to the respective partitions.
Previously I tried this method as it is... Without changing anything came in the SRK tools package.
Today i tried extracting the Lollipop variant KDZ of my LG G2 D802T and copied the files of boot, aboot, laf, recovery ......etc .img files from the extracted lollipop and replaced the same files in SRK Tools D802 folder..
LG firmware files can be downloaded from here

*Renamed the extracted files with same name present in the SRK Tools respective folder. And changed extension from .bin to .img by renaming
Then I followed the SRK tools method.

I got download mode.

I did try the SRK tool from on the links you provided. The phone is not detecting the computer while plugging in the usb while the phone is on TWRP and the computer makes a noise when the usb is connected but srk tool is not reading the phone.

Is your mobile condition is same as mine??
Like detected as qhsusb_bulk mode?? With multiple partitions detection.

I did an ota update and got stuck on twrp . Cant restore cause theres no file on the phone. I tried to do LG flashtool but computer won't recognize the phone since it wont connect. I then tried to connect a usb flash drive with the kdz file in it via OTG to the phone but no luck unless TWRP doesn't read .KDZ. I then used LG firmware extract tool to convert the KDZ file to.bin and rename the files to.img but TWRP still not able to install. How does ADB or terminal command work? I do see both options on TWRP but how do I start off? Please help

Try that adb method.. it may work.. as you're getting twrp

I thought my beloved G2 would be unsaveable when SRKtool fixing option didn't help but replacing the files and renaming them as you suggested worked

[HELP] Soft bricked smartphone

Hi everyone,
For some stupid reason a reset the file system i now I'm stuck in the LG logo.
1. I can enter in download mode - in Device manager the PC recognized as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (41)
2. I can enter in recovery mode (Cyanogenmod recovery, which is very based) - in Device manager the PC recognized as Android ADB Interface
So far, so good. BUT. I'tried to flash the phone with LG FlashTool 2014 and i'm stuck at 2%. Ok, i was tried the fix with FixedDownloadcmode.bat, but when nothing is uploading on the phone (which by ADB is recognized as sideload when i'm in recovery mode and apply the ADB connection). I tried to push by ADB but nothing is uploading - error: protocol.......
LGUP recognized my phone as unknown, so this method is not working now.
Via ADB i can't send even TWRP recovery, which is so much flexible than cyanogenmod recovery.
I will be thankful for any help from your side.

I had a very similar problem with it getting stuck at the logo after pushing supersu to the phone. I followed Supersport every single step of the way in his video. I think his links are the only valid ones online now, so just download them and reflash your phone. If your G2 is anything like mine, drivers will never appear to be installed correctly and it never restarts, only shuts down.
His method is:
1) Download and install LG drivers on PC
2) Download and install the flash tool and patch it
3) Download and load the .tot and .dll files into the flash tool
4) Enter download mode on G2 by holding volume up while connecting USB
5) Switch G2 Com port to 41 in device manager
6) Once Flash tool shows that all ports are ready, power down G2 and disconnect
7) Hold volume up and reconnect to get back into download mode
8) LG Flash tool starts flashing
9) Complete
Note: If your G2 was screwed up as bad as mine, it'll say failed but all the main system files will load to the device before it restarts and it'll even shut itself off while doing it's installation on first reboot. Mine somehow was still revived from this state with his method.

COOL1 BRICKED QUALCOMM HS-USB Diagnostic 900E

After using my cool1 for a month with no problems i decided to flash JUI 7.0.1 (with gapps etc...) on my Cool1 via TWRP but after doing it i realized it has many bugs and apps doesn't work properly. So i decided to return to EUI. After flashing the original stock firmware and rebooting the phone automatically switched off.
Power button not working, i cannot get into recovery and i tried all combinations of buttons without success.
When i connect it to the computer the red led start glowing and my computer recognizes it ONLY in Device Manager as QUALCOMM HS-USB Diagnostic 900E (COM3).
i have all the latest drivers installed.
i tried QFIL and it also recognizes it as QUALCOMM HS-USB Diagnostic 900E (COM3) and after setting everything when i click "Download" i get this error:
Start Download
COM Port number:3
Switch To EDL
Download Fail:Switch To EDL FailFailed to Switch to Emergency Download mode

hello. probably you wipe system. .. or i dont know..but try this:
Forced writing a recovery mod using QFIL.exe:
a) open program qfil.exe
b) choose the recovery folder and xml file
(remember: for writing succes recovery you need type this command in cmd: BCDEDIT.EXE –SET TESTSIGNING OFF)
c) plug the phone
d) now. most important: Hold Volume up , Volume Down and Power Button At same time. and - always press the button
if not working : first d) and then c) steps.
if the qfil.exe read the phone hold continues button.
e) press download button on qfil.exe
Now in this moment you have a recovery mod.
This method it worked for me
So now you need a flash a rom.

so.. i flash the jui 7 by cuoco and my phone its a live ()

Edit 3: To change EUI to JUI or viceversa You need use Coolpad download assistant

I have fixed the device but the only problem now is I don't have any signal. Simcards are detected but no Network at ALL, I tried to Fix my IMEI but still the same, do you know how to fix it ?
I also tried to reflash the rom through TWRP still the same -_-

Insert the Cable
Hold "VOLUME UP + DOWN + POWER BUTTON" wait until the 4th beep sound Then try to flash again.

Unfortunately it isn't working just tried

I try it but when i do the recovery mode only the red light is working the phone isn't vibrate and nothing so i tried to do it in the YGDP tool and isn't working too are you know anoyher way ?? :crying:

Try QGDP. On my Pc my phone is not detected by YGDP ,but I can flash stock ROM with QGDP.You can flash with QGDP , without even turning on the phone.Add the CPB file in QGDP, click start, and then plug in phone while switched off(no need to press any button)
