Dear sir,
I'm having lg g2 32gb D802T. I tried rooting my device with king root app, uninstalled google play books app. Later removed root access and uninstalled the king root app.
Then whenever I reboots my phone , it started showing critical error.
Then I tried resetting my phone. It ended up with boot loop.
Then I tried flashing kitkat stock rom of D802T kdz file through LG flash tool 2014. But it's stuck at 40%. From then it's showing multiple removable drives in system, asking for format.
Then I tried copying twrp recovery and other IMG files through linux dd commands. Then it's boot logo is also gone and ended up with only blank screen whenever I starts my phone.
Then I tried un brick using SRK tools. And files were copied.
Now it's showing boot logo and going blank dark screen in on condition. The following were also observed.
1. Still showing as Qhsusb bulk mode with many removable drives asking for format.
2. Not getting download mode, when connected to pc with volume up button in hold.
3. When connected to charger with power button in hold condition, it's notification LED is blinking in red.
4. When I tried with power+ volume down keys it's showing a reset screen. Asking for reset options yes/ no.
When I tried reset with yes. It's again going blank.
Please help in getting my device normal.
Thanks and regards
IN V RAO
I got solution for this.
I got my phone back to life.
As my phone is in qhsusb_bulk mode, i tried SRK tools for copying boot, aboot,laf....etc .img files to the respective partitions.
Previously I tried this method as it is... Without changing anything came in the SRK tools package.
Today i tried extracting the Lollipop variant KDZ of my LG G2 D802T and copied the files of boot, aboot, laf, recovery ......etc .img files from the extracted lollipop and replaced the same files in SRK Tools D802 folder..
LG firmware files can be downloaded from here
http://lg-kdz-firmware.com/lg-g2-firmware/36.html
*Renamed the extracted files with same name present in the SRK Tools respective folder. And changed extension from .bin to .img by renaming
Then I followed the SRK tools method.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/tools-mini-srk-tool-d802-t3098163
After completion, i restarted my device and plugged in USB cable by holding volume+ key...
I got download mode.
And flashed the same lollipop KDZ with lg flash tool, as below link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Good luck

I did an ota update and got stuck on twrp . Cant restore cause theres no file on the phone. I tried to do LG flashtool but computer won't recognize the phone since it wont connect. I then tried to connect a usb flash drive with the kdz file in it via OTG to the phone but no luck unless TWRP doesn't read .KDZ. I then used LG firmware extract tool to convert the KDZ file to.bin and rename the files to.img but TWRP still not able to install. How does ADB or terminal command work? I do see both options on TWRP but how do I start off? Please help

Try that adb method.. it may work.. as you're getting twrp
Thank you so much invrao!
I thought my beloved G2 would be unsaveable when SRKtool fixing option didn't help but replacing the files and renaming them as you suggested worked
If anyone needs the Qualcomm drivers send me a PM - they were very hard to find.
it worked

So I am hoping someone can help me here.
I was attempting to install Cloudy G3 (1.3) on my phone and did the following things from stock 4.4.2.
1. Root using ioroot (Success)
2. Installed CWM semi touch recovery (somehow the chinese one got installed rather than english)
3. Used an app to boot me into recovery as the manual method was not working for me.
4. The chinese recovery opened up (to my surprise) and so after reading translations, i pressed restart.
5. Phone now stuck on LG screen with flashing LED.
Progress:
I have figured out that I can get to the chinese recovery by holding Power + Volume up for 5 seconds. Weird because I though you were meant to hold volume down??
I then tried flashing Cloudy G3 form my SD card by using the normal process
-Wipe cache,data,dalvik
-Install KK baseband zip
-Install Cloudy rom zip (Aroma setup works and I can go through and select all the things i want and the rom does install)
-reboot after finished installing
Now the phone boots with lg logo, goes black, goes to lg logo again and then goes into recovery all by itself without me touching volume buttons.
I am trying to go back to stock but the computer won't recognise my phone in download mode
my download mode just stays on this screen.
Needing help with this please!
Maybe there is a solution without using my comupter?
I will play around with uninstalling/ re-installing drivers this weekend.
I have tried a windows 7 and 8 PC.
I have the same problem from exactly the same process. Have you had any progress?

Hi, thanks for your response. I have downloaded both files.I want to go with solution 2. However, I'm quite confused which file inside the zip on solution 2 I would need to replace with the file in solution one.

just extract file from first one and rename it same like file from fx22.zip
replace content fx22.zip with that modified file with winrar or 7zip (just simple drag n drop)
put on usb flashdisk drive using usb OTG or adb sideload and flash it
Sorry, but the file from Solution 1 (zip file) contain the following:
cygwin1.dll
dd
mmcblk0p2_sbl1
mmcblk0p5_aboot
mmcblk0p6_rpm
mmcblk0p8_tz
mmcblk0p15_recovery
recover_partition
Which one should I transfer to the file on solution 2?

Hello, today i tried to flash from recovery this lollipop zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-stock-30d-flashable-zip-t3070383 and flashed immediately TWRP also.
Now when i boot up the device I get a critical demigod error screen from which I can enter Download mode.
So i tried to install v30a .kdzwith flashtool but the installation fails...
Any suggestions? D:
I can only get to download mode, the phone is correctly recognized from the pc and LG Mobile Support Tools sees the device but with SW OPTIMUSG3 1.4.1 (the rom i had when I flashed Lollipop)!

As said above, you should try .tot method; I was like you, .kdz didn"t work, but .tot method works perfectly. You'll be on 4.2.2, 'cause .tot method only support 4.2.2 version of android on D802, but you can upgrade after with .zip rom or re-try .kdz method.
Check second part of this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 ( "2015 (updated with pictures) TOT method" ).
Yeah, final thing: if, after .tot method you're stuck in bootloop, factory reset your phone (power off, then volum down + power key, wait for LG logo, release buttons, then volum down + power key again, and your phone should work like a charm). Let us know if it work!

do tot methot and it wil work follow this instructions get the tot files and the right dll i copy paste from a guy that had optimus and worked like this on him
"My problem was the infamous 2% bug with the KDZ. I think reason for this is the wrong device ID set in the 'build.prop' by the G3 rom for the G2. The flash tool expects a G2 but sees a G3.
I did not find a workaround for this BUT there is one for the TOT method. You will need:
- LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN312AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.1 2.3.exe (version does not matter)
- Setup_LGFlashTool_1.8.1.1023.exe - for flashing of a TOT
- LGUP_8974.dll - this is needed for the flash tool to accept all TOTs
- the right TOT for your device
Please google these, I just checked and found them all. You can also find instructions for them.
Install drivers and LGFlashTool then start it.
Start smartphone in download mode by holding the volume up key while plugging USB in PC. Phone must be off.
Wait for the device recognition then change COM port of the new device in Windows device manager to something between 41-56 so that the flash tool can find the phone. In the model config window of the flash tool select the 'manual mode' then enter the path to the downloaded LGUP_8974.dll in 'DLL' and the path to your TOT file in 'S/W'. Set 'Action mode' to 'BOARD DL' then press 'OK'.
Your phone should be shown on selected COM port. Now you can press Start (the arrow).

As you said the problem was that flashtool didn't recognise the G2 (probably it saw it as G3) so it keeps stopping at 2%.

I have a new and unique problem with my set Ls980 (LG G2). I dig down all xda and other forums from last week. But no use till now. So i need some good help from experts . Ok here is the situation . I have Lg g2 ls980 (sprint) i rooted it to flash some LP custom rom in it. i installed RECURRECTION REMIX LOLLIPOP ROM in it successfully along with it's gapps. After reboot i got my phone in boot loop. now the current situation is that
1- I have nothing on my phone everything wiped out. no rom backup or anything else on my phone memory.
2- I have stock recovery (pictures attached).
3- I have broken download mode. ( so i can't attach my phone to lg flash tool) picture attached.
4- I am stuck on boot loop with cm11 M5 ( last rom installed using adb sideload option from stock rom)
5- No fastboot mode.
Please guide me to recover my soft bricked phone.

How can i try tot method without going to download mode ? as i said phone only have stock recovery , Yes there is an option in stock recovery "Apply update from ADB" by selecting that i can run adb sideload commands. And i can flash any zip rom from that option . I tried several rom's using this option but installation aborted in middle .
Does device manager in Windows recognize your device? In Tot method you do port settings to flash kdz. Also you can give it a try for LG pc suite.
Yesterday I installed this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/lollipop-grola-rom-5-0-1-t3028569
And after it "finished" the phone got stuck in a fastboot screen, and the usb was not working, neither the recovery nor the bootloader.
So I really screwed it up, the I followed a tutorial in youtube to fix corrupted qhsubs , It was awfully hard to make my device to work, so now that I'm finally capable of entering into the bootloader when I use the lg flash tool with kdz, it gets stuck at 2%.
If i try to flash via tot+dll it shows that my lg model is the L01F.
I have read about doing a cross dll editing with a hex editor, but I have tried and I dont get to work neither the dll nor the tot file
***************************************************************************************************************************************
The posible solutions
There are many posts out there to edit with hex editor, in order to trick your phone to install the rom, also there are posts that will indicate you ro reflash all the .img again by killing the bootloader and entering in fastboot mode, but at least for me none of this worked.
The solution that worked out for me (thanks to Ayala's Inc youtube channel)
What you will need:
1-Lg flash tool for TOT files
2-Generic DLL
http://www.mediafire.com/download/vh6y1unm9fq8vtx/LGUP_8974.zip (893kb zip)
3-.tot image file that you are going to flash
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda%2FLG+G2%2FStock%2F
Note, if you are in this post, then you will realize that the .dll that are in the link above are not working for you, you must instead use the generic dll that it's in the zip.
How to flash, now this part is know by almost everyone:
1-Open flash tool.
2-Check the "select manual mode" box.
3-Load the generic .dll in the DLL part.
4-Load your image .TOT in the s/w part.
5-Do not modify anything else here.
6-Connect your device in download mode
7-Go to device manager
8-Scroll down below to Ports (COM and LPT)
9-Right clic to your device and select properties (Lg mobile usb serial port)
10-Clic in the port config. tab, then click in advaced options
11-Set the COM port numer to 41 and accept.
12-Now back again in the flash tool Click in the yellow arrow that is in the top left, and wait, if it doesn't start the process automaticaly, disconect your LG (keeping the download mode) and reconect it to the pc.
13-Wait for the process to finish, after the proccess is over, you will be able to flash any stock rom, your LG g2 will no longer be confused about its model.
*If the kdz lg flash tool stucks at 2%, this will be your solution.
*If the TOT lg flash tool doesn't flash because the rom/dll/phone is diferent this will help you to solve the problem
This might work with all the variants, I haven't tested, but it should because it's the generic dll file.
There it is the video, that helped me out, credits for him, he told me about the .dll solution
I can't visualize the video correctly so here is the link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6yvtnkeSyk
Hi everyone,
For some stupid reason a reset the file system i now I'm stuck in the LG logo.
1. I can enter in download mode - in Device manager the PC recognized as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (41)
2. I can enter in recovery mode (Cyanogenmod recovery, which is very based) - in Device manager the PC recognized as Android ADB Interface
So far, so good. BUT. I'tried to flash the phone with LG FlashTool 2014 and i'm stuck at 2%. Ok, i was tried the fix with FixedDownloadcmode.bat, but when nothing is uploading on the phone (which by ADB is recognized as sideload when i'm in recovery mode and apply the ADB connection). I tried to push by ADB but nothing is uploading - error: protocol.......
LGUP recognized my phone as unknown, so this method is not working now.
Via ADB i can't send even TWRP recovery, which is so much flexible than cyanogenmod recovery.
I will be thankful for any help from your side.
Thank you in advance!

I had a very similar problem with it getting stuck at the logo after pushing supersu to the phone. I followed Supersport every single step of the way in his video. I think his links are the only valid ones online now, so just download them and reflash your phone. If your G2 is anything like mine, drivers will never appear to be installed correctly and it never restarts, only shuts down.
His method is:
1) Download and install LG drivers on PC
2) Download and install the flash tool and patch it
3) Download and load the .tot and .dll files into the flash tool
4) Enter download mode on G2 by holding volume up while connecting USB
5) Switch G2 Com port to 41 in device manager
6) Once Flash tool shows that all ports are ready, power down G2 and disconnect
7) Hold volume up and reconnect to get back into download mode
8) LG Flash tool starts flashing
9) Complete
Note: If your G2 was screwed up as bad as mine, it'll say failed but all the main system files will load to the device before it restarts and it'll even shut itself off while doing it's installation on first reboot. Mine somehow was still revived from this state with his method.
