Hi, i am facing a problem regarding performance and RAM usage of LG G2 (D802). I have noticed a considerable degradation of performance with rising temperature of phone. At one time, after playing EA real racing i ended up scoring 28700 at Antutu and after i let the phone rest for a while for cooling down the CPU (i literally refrigerated the phone) it came up with 33.5K at antutu. I did the same with my SGSIV (i9500) but it remained consistent with score ranging between 28-29K. I am using stock firmware on my LGG2 and its not rooted even... Can some one explain why is so and what can be the solution...

The reason why your SGS4 didn't change scores was because for certain benchmarks like Antutu, Samsung disabled thermal throttling completely where as the LG G2 doesn't have thermal throttling disabled during those tests.
I have Exynos note 3 SM-N9000 . It's been a month since the purchase. I have already rooted the phone and knox is tripped.
I have been experiencing battery drain , so i looked up my cpu consumption , it was running on 1900 for the maximum time , there are no apps consuming such cpu load. My friend have the same mobile , when i checked with him, his cell was ruuning on 600 Mhz for max time.
Everything is stock, no custom rom .
Is there a solution to it , Can anyone help ?
Has no one experienced this problem???
I can by at the same price this 2 models one with snapdragon 800 and the other with 600.I don't mind the speed i just mind heating problem and life battery what i have to choose between this two models?
I can't find any benchmark comparison regarding battery life please help me cause i have to place my order as soon as possible
I9506 vs i9505
Galaxy s4, hitting 75c average on skyping, charging. Phone usually sits on 60c regularly. Custom rom, running 5.0.2 thermal throttling doesn't appear to work.
i recently brought my j5 installed twrp then didin't like cm 12.1 then flash 6.0.1 then dicided to go back to my stock rom the problem that the phone overheats so much 40 ° for deep sleep and 50 for normal use
i mention that i installed linaro kernel when i first used twrp
any help ? anyone had that problem before ? :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hello! I'm the current developer for Samsung Galaxy J5 and want to clarify some things to new users.
Samsung Galaxy J5 heat issues:
- Has a 5.0 inch Super-AMOLED screen, that is the main cause for exceeded battery draining and heat problems.
- Uses 4 cores for proccessing which is another cause of heat issue.
- When we use full brightness on screen, mobile data and gps together, the device reaches its most battery-draining state and its peak in heat production.
- Stock kernel uses performance governor for stock ROMs! That means that your CPU is always at 1.2 GHz.
- Interactive stock governor also uses the range from 800 MHz - 1.2 GHz, so heating issues also occur.
The solution:
- Stick with CyanogenMod 12.1. The development is always active. Even if you don't like it, you will see better performance than stock. AOSP is always the best way to go.
I will post the new updated ROMs soon. (I have updated SM-J500FN today! The other variants will come soon)
my phone runs in stock disabled everp bloatware only installed fb lite with the slightest use the phone goes to 50 very fast
i flashed ur kernel before and cm rom same issues even when i go in twrp the phone is always in 43 - 46 ° do u know what's mostl likely the cause ?
my phone feels like an oven and i tried flashing official firmware but it the same problem i can't find any solution or similar experience to anyone
