[Help] Note 3 Exynos stuck on max cpu frequency - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have Exynos note 3 SM-N9000 . It's been a month since the purchase. I have already rooted the phone and knox is tripped.
I have been experiencing battery drain , so i looked up my cpu consumption , it was running on 1900 for the maximum time , there are no apps consuming such cpu load. My friend have the same mobile , when i checked with him, his cell was ruuning on 600 Mhz for max time.
Everything is stock, no custom rom .
Is there a solution to it , Can anyone help ?

Has no one experienced this problem???

[Q] CPU Max Clock Not Working! Solutions?

I have used all kernels for my S4 GT I9505 all of them have this problem, i set max frequency to 1350 let's say, and it doesn't work, max is still 1890, it doesn't matter what app I use to tune cpu, only KT kernel works, but it is also the only kernel, that makes my phone reboot after heavy usage, all other kernels like Googy Alucard Taxeltop and so on, can not cap cpu limit, but they don't make my phone reboot after heavy usage, let's say 3 races one after another in Need For Speed Most Wanted... Solutions???

4 a57 cores are stopped in my oneplus 2

so i recently bought a oneplus 2 and after a few benchmark i was socked as i was getting only 2300 multicore and 700 single core in geek bench .
So i was looking for what causing it all that i have found 4 of those a57 cores are set to off by os even when battery is 80+ and temp is well . Then after a restart its all good 6 cores were working fine and had some good scores . Again after a day those 4 cores were off and same as low bench mark score .. in good battery conditions ..
What is this ? is this normal or should i just replace / refund this device . as this is unacceptable downloading asphalt 8 to check if those core starts working on load or not cause benchmarks are definitely not doing any good .
Thank you for any help !
Just change your kernel to Boeffla, it has better thermal control, thus won't disable your A57 core that early...

i am not sure if this is heat issue as most of the time phone stays in ideal condition when this happen and only by restart i can turn those cores on . Tried with many thing even i tried multitasking alot while those were off like 2-3 games apps even benchmarks does not turn on those cores thats y i get low benchmarks at that time . I am thinking about taking a replacement i have that option .

[Q] ZTE Z9 mini - rapid discharge

Dear users of the forum
I am very worried about rapid discharge sine Z9 mini phone
If you do not use the Internet the phone behaves with dignity
But it is worth it to the Internet and download the client social network Vkontakte - here right away we decrease interest charge.
Through the program Kernel Adiutor I changed frequency: c 800 -1436 at 400-1133, set Scheduler Ondemand. Bates GPU frequency from 533 to 400 (because the standard is always working frequency of 533 regardless of the load). Launching any tweaks to the kernel, the performance of the battery and the like, and the phone began to live a little longer.
But for example a game like World of Tanks Blitz eats battery all in 40 minutes - my colleagues at work are the result of one hour and a half with batteries 2200 and phones that have 3-4 years (with bad batteries that must be replaced) and then 3050 mAh spent 40 minutes.
With offline 4pda curator of one of the others he said he compiled the kernel by phone 410 snapdragon is not 64 bit and 32 - and everything was just better (and at the moment is trying to do the same for about 615 snapdragon for nashago phone still will not make unnecessarily . he did not have much time available.
And in consequence, any firmware ported keeps the battery as little as they use official sources supplied by ZTE.
I am sure that my question is not the first of its kind, and on the processor and can have a solution
Must be some problems in phone
Hey if it apps.....first of all uninstall xender.....it autostarts and drain battery even in standby or otherwise root your device and install root booster(dominik Nozka)(free but in app purchase) in playstore and purchase the extreme modes.......(0.99$ only)
But of it is hardware i guess change the battery as it is nearly dead.....this happens even in my dad's old symbian-java phone(7yrs old but still on stock battery. Which was with handset suffering drom rapid discharge.)

samsung j5 overheat issues

i recently brought my j5 installed twrp then didin't like cm 12.1 then flash 6.0.1 then dicided to go back to my stock rom the problem that the phone overheats so much 40 ° for deep sleep and 50 for normal use
i mention that i installed linaro kernel when i first used twrp
any help ? anyone had that problem before ? :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hello! I'm the current developer for Samsung Galaxy J5 and want to clarify some things to new users.
Samsung Galaxy J5 heat issues:
- Has a 5.0 inch Super-AMOLED screen, that is the main cause for exceeded battery draining and heat problems.
- Uses 4 cores for proccessing which is another cause of heat issue.
- When we use full brightness on screen, mobile data and gps together, the device reaches its most battery-draining state and its peak in heat production.
- Stock kernel uses performance governor for stock ROMs! That means that your CPU is always at 1.2 GHz.
- Interactive stock governor also uses the range from 800 MHz - 1.2 GHz, so heating issues also occur.
The solution:
- Stick with CyanogenMod 12.1. The development is always active. Even if you don't like it, you will see better performance than stock. AOSP is always the best way to go.
I will post the new updated ROMs soon. (I have updated SM-J500FN today! The other variants will come soon)
my phone runs in stock disabled everp bloatware only installed fb lite with the slightest use the phone goes to 50 very fast
i flashed ur kernel before and cm rom same issues even when i go in twrp the phone is always in 43 - 46 ° do u know what's mostl likely the cause ?
my phone feels like an oven and i tried flashing official firmware but it the same problem i can't find any solution or similar experience to anyone
I faced same problem. Please help me my phone is Samsung galaxy J500F.
i also got the same problem
my j5 is very chill on normal use(like using facebook or browsing in internet using wifi) but it overheats very intensely when using mobile data and it even goes up to 70 degrees
also in using j500h in stock mm with kraken kernel underclocked to 1ghz

Frequency minimum stuck 1698 MHz miui

Hi!
I love this mobile....but...
Unlocked bootloader,miui 9 last 7.9.14
Everything seems ok but I don't know why after 1 day or so,if not rebooted or turned off,I see through CPU z that even in 1-3 percent usage so basically in idle the minimum frequency is sticker at 1698 for all 8 cores.....only rebooting solve.
You have that problem too? I see also Redmi note 4 users got same problem....why???
nobody has this problem?
only way is to reboot
