[GUIDE] [SD652/MTK] Magisk - How to pass Safetynet check - LeEco Le 2 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello everyone,
As you might have seen, Google Safetynet APIs have been updated. Since Official Magisk is using old API, when you try to pass Safetynet, it will automatically give you an error like " The response is invalid" or something like that.
So, in order to bypass this issue, I've been searching for a long time and I found a solution.
THIS WON'T WORK WITH XPOSED FRAMEWORK INSTALLED!!
1- Uninstall completely Magisk using official uninstaller.
2- Once the device rebooted, download and install latest unofficial Magisk Manager APK available on this page: https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds?files=1
3- Open Magisk Manager and go to Magisk settings
4- Click on Update Channel and choose Custom
5- Insert this URL and click OK : https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds/master/updates/ianmacd.json
6- Click on Clear Repo Cache
7- Return to Magisk Startpage and check for update
8- Install Unofficial Magisk 16.8
9- Once installation done, reboot your device
10- Go to Magisk Manager and check for Safetynet
If it passed, Congratulations, you're done.
If not, continue.
11- Download this Magisk Module : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528046758
12- Once downloaded, disconnect your phone from Internet (turn of the Wi-Fi, 4g, etc...). It's very important
13- Install the module using Magisk Manager and reboot
14- When reboot done, wait 5 minutes before turning on Internet connection
15- Go to Magisk Manager and check if Safetynet passed.
It should be working, it worked in my case.
Have tried on two devices:
- Leeco x626 with EUI ROM ( Cuoco) using the module
- Leeco x526 with MIUI 10 without the module
FOR EUI ROMs:
You could get an error saying you're using a modified software or something like this, after uninstalling old Magisk.
Do this :
- Download official Magisk uninstaller AND Unofficial Magisk 16.8 ZIP
- Reboot to TWRP Recovery
- Uninstall old Magisk using the uninstaller
DO NOT REBOOT
- Return to TWRP Home menu and install unofficial Magisk 16.8
- Reboot your device and it should be okay

Wow it worked. Thanks a lot bro.

I don't think I have Xposed framework, unless it's hidden somewhere in my phone. How do I check for it? I know I have some root apps installed. Apps like es explorer, root explorer and browser, BusyBox, etal

[GUIDE] [F3111] HOW TO Install Magisk on Xperia XA

Steps:
1. Download Magisk V11.1 & uninstaller
2. Root device (use @rrvuhpg root guide)
3. Download and flash Systemless SuperSU
4. Reboot and fully unroot device (don't restore stock boot image)
5. Reboot
6. Reboot into recovery
7. Flash Magisk & reboot
8. Wait for device to reboot fully (it takes a long, long time)
9. Download Magisk Manager from Play Store
10. If root is there, then you're done
Alternate Method:
1. Root Device (use @rrvuhpg root guide)
2. Download and flash Systemless SuperSU
3. Reboot and install Magisk Manager from Play Store
4. Open Magisk Manager and go onto the install tab
5. Press "detect" on the boot image location section and press "Magiskify" (I kept both advanced options unchecked)
6. Once flashed and rebooted, you're done.
Notes:
1. Rebooting after flashing Magisk takes ages, if there is a problem with booting then just flash the Magisk uninstaller. Just try to wait at least 10 minutes for the reboot after flashing Magisk, just don't crap yourself and uninstall the Magisk.
If you have questions or need help, just ask.

Use MagiskSU instead, fully unroot device with SuperSU but don't restore the boot.img etc. Go to recovery and use the Magisk uninstaller then reflash Magisk 11.1 and if you unrooted, then it will install MagiskSU. It is Magisk's new official root

And selinuxmode needs to be enforcing but Magisk takes care of that itself so don't worry, just double check it's enforcing, Magisk will turn it permissive itself only when needed

Thank you for your tips but XA is not my daily phone anymore, now I have a Oneplus3 and XA is just used as test/dev unit. I hope it will help other users.
Magisk should help with maintaining root after the latest and future Xperia XA updates (most likely will work with Nougat update too)

Thank you very much for this guide.
Can't I use just Magisk installer without unrooting the rom? If I'm not wrong Magisk has is own root manager
I tryed to install Camera 60fps Recording Module but i got error the zip is stored in : intenal storage ....
Is this safety net important to have it in green to pass this CTS ? I have done method 2. Magisk manager form store and then I installed Magisk 12. In installation panel when I tap detect it detecs (auto) mmcblk. Is it all ? Does it work ?
Where can I find the Systemless SuperSU?
I have been trying to change to Magisk with this guide but it failed in the 1st method, the 2nd one gives the root with super su but i wanted to use Magisk alone, so i have been researching and by flashing the stock boot.img (i used the one provided in the thread "Stock kernels built from sources") Magisk was installed and worked except for the SafetyNet. Do someone passes SafetyNet or have a suggestion?

To pass the Safetynet check the only way is to use encrypted partition but you will lose the ability to mount/backup the /data partition with TWRP.

Snapchat will fail to login if safety-net is not successfully passed and Magisk is installed.
R/W on boot should not affect the successful login of Snapchat.
Make sure you don't have the following applications are not installed if Safety-net is passing as these can also be key culprits:
1. Xposed
2. SuperSu or any other Super user
3. Any third party snap chat Applications such as Casper

Update[GUIDE] Bypass SafetyNet With Magisk

:highfive:HELLO GUYS
So Here u can Find How To Bypass Safetnet In Your Phone While Being Rooted.
As you all know safetynet is implemented by Google itself to check Security of your Device & also by Some games or apps Eg. Pokeman Go,Android pay,Snapchat etc. So If Your Phone Is Rooted SafetyNet Test Will Fail.
With failed Safetynet Test You Can't Run These Apps in Your Mobile.
Check your Safetynet Status By This App:- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scottyab.safetynet.sample
So If your Test Failed And you can't able to run Games or Some Apps Try This method
1. Fully Unroot Your Phone In SuperSu app Go to Settings tab on the top right corner, and then click Full Unroot. Confirm with 'Continue'. 3. Once this operation is done, which takes a few minutes, you can reboot your Android & Then Flash This Unroot Script In Custom Recovery
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3931994&d=1478779893
2. Download Magisk 12.0 http://tiny.cc/latestmagisk and Flash it in Custom Recovery & Reboot **Make sure in custom recovery if a Line Appears "Boot img already patched" That means You'r Not Fully Unrooted in this case you have to flash your Stock System.img or Stock rom**
3. Now Install Magisk Manager From Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.topjohnwu.magisk
4 In Magisk manager Go To Settings Click on Enable BusyBox & Magisk Hide
5. Thats it. Now Run Safetynet test in Magisk Manager It will pass.
6.Enjoy your Games or Apps
UPDATE :- With Android Security Patch 01/04/2016 On Marshmallow Flashed SuperSu 2.79 Flashed Suhide 0.55 Flashed Magisk 12.0 Flashed Xposed 87.0 Systemless PASSING SAFETY NET Without Disabling root

Pokémon Go

Hi everyone,
Sorry for my language : i don't speak english very well.
I'm a new user of this forum.
I'm a new user of root, rom, ...
And I need help for hack Pokemon Go on my Nexus 4.
I found this project : "Pokemon Go MITM" on GitHub by rastapasta (sorry I can't put a link)
And I would like to try it.
I tried several things but I have trouble at all step and I don't understand that I do.
To use MITM, I think I need :
root my phone
Install the Xposed Framework
install Pokemon Go Trust Certificate via the Xposed Installer
install the Xposed module pokemon-go-xposed
To use Pokemon Go on rooted phone, I think I need to hide the root :
Install Magisk Manager
Install TWRP
Install Magisk
I think my phone is rooted now. I have the SuperSu app and Pokemon Go said something like that : "Phone or OS not compatible with Pokemon Go".
I don't know what it's finish with the Xposed Framework.
I had install Magisk Manager but now I have trouble to use TWRP and install Magisk.
First, can you confirm that my lists of things to do are correct?
And after, someone can help me step by step and explain me what each step do?
I think, the first thing to do is to be able to launch Pokemon Go on rooted phone.
So Install TWRP and Magisk.
Correct?
TWRP + Magisk
I continued to try by myself.
After install TWRP by the TWRP App, I don't understood that we need to reboot in recovery mode to launch TWRP.
So In TWRP, I install Magisk from the zip downloaded previously by the Magisk Manager App.
So now, I have TWRP and Magisk installed.
Next step : use it to hide root to Pokemon Go App.
But I don't know how to do it yet!
Magisk Hide
According to the website of magiskmanager, I enable the "Magisk hide" option in the setting of "Magisk Manager".
But no new option appear in my menu.
And when I close and reopen Magisk Manager, the option "Magisk hide" is unable now !
I don't no why !
Perhap's the problem is that I rooted my phone before install TWRP and Magisk ?
I don't remember how I do that but I had the SuperSu App on my phone.
But now, I don't see the SuperSu app since I installed TWRP and Magisk!
Need help!
Magisk hide don't work
I decided to restart from step 0 : I unroot my phone.
To do this, I re-install the official ROM.
I follow the tutorial find on tutoriels-android dot net.
And after, I reinstall TWRP (without root) and Magisk.
But same conclusion : I can't use Magisk hide.
Now I really need help!
Please!

[GUIDE] Update and root RealmeUI 2.0 with Safetynet-fix (RUI 2.0 | Android 11) [Global/Indian]

[GUIDE] HOW TO UPDATE TO RUI 2.0 AND ROOT IT
--> Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if you brick your device. Use at your own risk and always backup your data! <--
0. Download linksF.14 OTA: Download
Magisk app: Download
OrangeFox beta: Download
ADB/Fastboot tool: Download
Patched boot.img: Find attached
vbmeta.img: Find attached
Patched safetynet fix: Find attached
1. Update your deviceUpdate your device to the latest firmware version (F.14). Therefor flash the provided OTA zip via stock recovery or OrangeFox beta recovery.
It is recommended to use the stock recovery. You can also update your device to the latest firmware by using the build in update function.
2. Root your deviceBoot into fastboot mode. To boot into fastboot mode, shut down your device and then press the volume down button while clicking on the power button.
Now you have successfully booted into fastboot mode. Connect your device with your computer and flash the patched boot.img and also disable verified boot.
Therefor just type following 3 commands:
1. fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img
2. fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
3. fastboot reboot
Your device should boot up. Now install the Magisk app and you have successfully rooted RUI 2.0.
3. Fix SafetynetInstall the patched "safetynet-fix-v.2.2.0-zip" module via Magisk. It will fix safetynet (Basic integrity and CTS). It works perfectly and won't brick your fingerprint etc. Thanks to @osm0sis
4. Get Widevine L1If you have unlocked your bootlader, Widevine will be set from L1 to L3. This will reduce the quality of certain streaming apps like Netflix from FullHD to SD quality.
However, you can get Widevine L1 back by contacting the Realme support. For more info, check the guide from @hack-os: Widevine L1 FIX

3. Fix Basic integrity check (Safetynet)Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass safetynet with rooted RUI 2.0. However, you can still pass basic integrity, which should be fine for most banking apps.
To do so, open the Magisk Manger app and click on the settings button on the top-right corner. Enable "Zygisk" and "Denylist". Then click on "Configure DenyList".
Click on the 3-dots on the top-right corner and select system-apps. Now search for "gms". You should find "Google Play Services". Click it and enable "com.google.android.gms" and "com.google.android.gms.unsuable". Now reboot your device and it should pass basic integrity.

2. Enable MagiskHide.

Thanks for the info. I already tried it once with Magisk Alpha and the same settings as you, but CTS still failed. I'm gonna try it again and update the guide.
Edit: @Eng.Raman Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Installed Magisk Alpha, also cleaned all data of Google Play Store and Google Play Services multiple times and rebooted multiple times. But CTS still fails.
Do you maybe have installed some modules, like Riru or LPosed?

Yes ,I have installed some modules but they don't affect the test result, even without magisk and lsposed modules I have passed snet.

Yes, I know. That's exactly what I did. I uninstalled Magisk Canary completely including the app and went back to stock boot. Afterwards I installed Magisk alpha app, patched boot.img, flashed patched boot.img an rebooted.
Just a couple of minutes ago a new version of magisk alpha was released, and also with that version CTS fails.
Nevertheless, I found out something interesting. With Magisk Canary, CTS fails and Advice tells me to Lock bootloader. With Magisk Alpha CTS still fails, but I get no advice.

Your momo app shows " The environment is broken" and this is related to enabling MagiskHide.
To get rid of this message and to see full results either add config "app_zygote_magic" or install momohider-mod zip attached.

EDIT: @Eng.Raman had to install MomoHider and add config "app_zygote_magic". Now Momo gives me the message.

Installed MomoHider, but it still said "The environment is broken". So I disabled MagiskHide. Only as MagiskHide was disabled, I received a message from Momo. Screenshot attached.

That's weird you can't even hide magisk and su file.

Yeah, Magisk alpha seems not to fix CTS on my device. Safetynet-fix (https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix) does, but it also bricks my in-display fingerprint reader. So at the moment it seems like I can't bypass CTS.

My fingerprint also works well.
Are you tried to pass the snet with the latest USNF-2.1.2? May it works for you.

Yes, USNF and safetynet-fix both brick my in-display-fingerprint.
With Magisk alpha/canary there is no issue with my fingerprint.

Try clean installing magisk custom it has MagiskHide without DenyList, builtin snet checker and online modules repo as magisk stable, the latest custom magisk build is 23015.

With enabled Magisk Hide it will fix basic integrity check, but not CTS. And it also bricks my in-display-fingerprint. Guess I'll stay with Magisk Canary, till there might be an update to fix those issues.
Hello guys.
When trying to add my bank card in google pay, I have an error that this phone can't be used to pay because it's rooted.

I have the same issue with my banking app that doesn't allow NFC payments even though I've done everything to hide root.
