I got a J320az. Is it possible to flash firmware other J3 2016 on this variant using patched Odin. Just like we do on Samsung S8. As hardware is same.

Yes there's absolutely no problem, I've used both the AT&T variant as well as Cricket's, with both versions of phones

hi guys.. i just wanna know if galaxy a5 SM-A500FU with 5.0.2 lollipop update is compatible with SM-A500F?
In theory, it should be. The devices should not be different. But even in worst case, you can re-flash your own device with 4.4.4 from sammobile.com
BTW there IS a 5.0.2 firmware for A500F, though it is Russian.
You can flash the russia rom , i flash it over kitkat in my 500f . Its work well

I have galaxy a500H\DS how can i update it to lollipop?
Hiii
Im using samsung A5 android 4.4.4
This device doesn't support otg cable
Is there any way by rooting or without rooting to use a otg cable to connect a pendrive to it
Thanks in advance
Are there any custom ROMs for A500F out yet?
No it isnt. Believe me, I tried. Ended up getting my device stuck on Odin mode. Why not just flash the ROM for the A500F itself.

I was looking for a custom ROM to be able to enable 4G bands for the region I'm now in. Learned yesterday from a representative from my carrier that it isn't needed. I downloaded the lollipop firmware for Russia from sammobile last night and will be installing soon. Thanks though.

Hi guys. I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 (6) [SM-J510F/DS] PLpurchased from Kuwait. It's an UAE version. I brought it for use in India on Reliance Jio 4g network. Unfortunately the device doesn't support VoLTE despite having the Qualcomm chipset which I guess is same aboard the Indian J5 (2016) models. Samsung UAE customer support informed my phone doesn't have VoLTE. Is there anyway I can make it work? Like installing an Indian firmware 'coz my phone is running stock Rom and firmware . I checked for any OTA updates and none was available. I am in a dilemma now coz I came back from a Lumia to Android and I am stuck with just 4g coz of some manufacturer policy. Please help guys.
Then flash Indian firmware for ur model

VoLTE is based on software according to me. So you can try your luck with an Indian firmware. However i can't guarantee if it will work that way if there is a difference between your phone chipset and standard phone chipset.
There is no Indian ROM

In November last year I bought a factory refurbished Galaxy S7 with the Snapdragon chip which came saying it was a G930F. However, I have come to realise that the G930F is not an actual model of the S7 and is simply a Verizon S7 which had the firmware debranded but will not receive OTA updates because it is not recognised as a real version. Is there anything I can do about this?
F is the international model that does not use the snapdragon processor and can unlock the bootloader. The U model is the US varient that uses the snapdragon processor and is bootloader locked.

All you can do is flash the latest G930V (Verizon branded) or G930U (Debranded) stock firmware using ODIN 3.12.7 or newer
But double check in download mode which model it shows there first, likely it will show G930V in which case either of the above firmwares will work fine
Or take it back and get your money back / demand the G930F
How do I flash this ROM?

That it is not the combination firmware. I want the combination firmware to match the security level S6 as we can see from the original firmware

original firmware? your original firmware was S6?
As you pointed out the original firmware (and this is what I have which is the latest) is G950WVLS6CSH1 and CSC G950WOYA6CSH1
The combination firmware is something different. You can flash the phone and gives you abilities like to change the product code.
The combination firmware should much the security level of the original firmware which in this case is the S6
I think it should be the second link under "Downloads V6 Bootloaders" here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/root-t3904613
It's called COMBINATION_FA70_G950USQU6ASG1_CL13344735_QB246445 54_REV00_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tar.rar. I don't think there's a separate G950W combination firmware -- if I remember correctly, G950U, G950U1 and G950W use the same one.
