That it is not the combination firmware. I want the combination firmware to match the security level S6 as we can see from the original firmware

original firmware? your original firmware was S6?
As you pointed out the original firmware (and this is what I have which is the latest) is G950WVLS6CSH1 and CSC G950WOYA6CSH1
The combination firmware is something different. You can flash the phone and gives you abilities like to change the product code.
The combination firmware should much the security level of the original firmware which in this case is the S6
I think it should be the second link under "Downloads V6 Bootloaders" here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/root-t3904613
It's called COMBINATION_FA70_G950USQU6ASG1_CL13344735_QB246445 54_REV00_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tar.rar. I don't think there's a separate G950W combination firmware -- if I remember correctly, G950U, G950U1 and G950W use the same one.

Yes. Just flash the compatible fw for your device. Better search thread here regarding the process etc.

Yes it is possible. For example, your CSC code is XSG so you must download SM-G935F FIRMWARE for your device.
Better search threads here on Q and A FW means Firmware.

Hi, Did it work for you flashing "F" variant ROM's into your "FD" device?
Thanks,
The firmware are available for two regions: UK (BTU) and the Czech Republic (O2C). You can download these Nougat-based firmware files and flash your compatible Galaxy S7 models manually (you should also be able to update your device through Samsung Smart Switch on your PC). Galaxy S7 edge firmware shouldn’t be far behind, and we will be sure to let you know once those show up in our database.

Yes
Right .. I've been reading and researching this .. but can't find a definitive answer. Perhaps one of you gurus can assist. According to Phone INFO I have the following setup:
Bootloader/PDA/Baeband Version: G935FXXU1DPLT
CSC Version: G935FOXA1DPLT
When I try to use/install the Galaxy Gear VR, I keep getting "network error". From my research, this is linked to the CSC. Question is, how do I restore it to base CSC - without rooting?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.
nice. can somebody upload the firmware somewhere else cuz i have to w8 9 hours to dld from sammobile

The other thread was created when the full firmware was not available yet, the workaround was to flash mm btu then update to nougat. These are the nougat firmwares as they are now available, not the mm ones. so you just have to flash them and you'll have nougat on your phone.

Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin

I haven't flashed a different CSC cause I don't want to lose features such as the Mobile data toggle, currently on the Arab firmware since my phone is a Duos, anyone know if BTU has the Mobile data toggle even on 7.0?

Phone model SM-G9500/8 and SM-G950U built on the same processor model. Who can tell how to flash firmware 9500/8 into a 950u?
Interested in adding the Russian language to the firmware for the US device. Or what other way is it possible to fully integrate Russian into the firmware of an American?

if u try to odin flash this it wont pass, and if u prince comey odin, and if u do BL u will brick ur device.. heard it already happened.
Also interested in that question, or if is not possible to flash SM-G9500/8 then how it would be possbile to add more languages such as Russian or Romanian etc. It would be
cool to exist a G950U1 USA clean firmware with language options of G950F.
The S8 G950U1 is exact same hardware as S8 active G892U. Yet recent ATT firmware ending in CRF5 doesn't flash in modded Odin. I can't understand why. I can only get an older ATT Oreo FW to flash.
I got a J320az. Is it possible to flash firmware other J3 2016 on this variant using patched Odin. Just like we do on Samsung S8. As hardware is same.

Yes there's absolutely no problem, I've used both the AT&T variant as well as Cricket's, with both versions of phones
