Does any firmware works?

Hi!
I got a 935fd S7 Edge it was shipped with the G935FXXS1APG3 firmware. It seems this one is from Egypt. Can I flash any 935F or FD firmware (from any country) or must be this and only this one?

I have the G935F edge and it shipped with Egypt csc too. I'm trying to flash to AMO (spain) firmware with my mac using jodin but I have a few questions before I start. When I extracted the firmware, inside the firmware file is a BL and AP file. On jodin there is a BL option but no AP option to click. so im stuck. anyone out there who knows how to flash using jodin on mac could you please help?

The firmware are available for two regions: UK (BTU) and the Czech Republic (O2C). You can download these Nougat-based firmware files and flash your compatible Galaxy S7 models manually (you should also be able to update your device through Samsung Smart Switch on your PC). Galaxy S7 edge firmware shouldn’t be far behind, and we will be sure to let you know once those show up in our database.

Right .. I've been reading and researching this .. but can't find a definitive answer. Perhaps one of you gurus can assist. According to Phone INFO I have the following setup:
Bootloader/PDA/Baeband Version: G935FXXU1DPLT
CSC Version: G935FOXA1DPLT
When I try to use/install the Galaxy Gear VR, I keep getting "network error". From my research, this is linked to the CSC. Question is, how do I restore it to base CSC - without rooting?
Any help would be appreciated.

The other thread was created when the full firmware was not available yet, the workaround was to flash mm btu then update to nougat. These are the nougat firmwares as they are now available, not the mm ones. so you just have to flash them and you'll have nougat on your phone.

Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Because i am so confused about cse,csx,btu......etc on the other thread

I haven't flashed a different CSC cause I don't want to lose features such as the Mobile data toggle, currently on the Arab firmware since my phone is a Duos, anyone know if BTU has the Mobile data toggle even on 7.0?

I didn't try yet another SIM but duos options are there... so Insuppose you wont have any problem with it

Hi frens,,, Need ur Help. My Galaxy s7 edge get freez n reboot . I want to flash with original firmware. Please provide me original firmware Android 6.O for Galaxy s7 edge (SM-G935FD) , UAE (XSG) region. I googled it but can't find it. Please provide me firmware if u can. I will b very thankful.

There are no 6.0 stock rom on sammobile and you won't be able to find anywhere I guess. Why on earth would you want 6.0?

Maybe i am wrong but this is 935F firmware, he is looking for 935FD.
Not being smart, just looking for the same and wondering if the single sim rom can be used on dual sim

You are Smarter than I as I missed the D you are right I am wrong there is no 6 for it there and the wrong ROM would lose him the second SIM function

both are smart
when installing the corresponding rom for your s7 edge duos, it automatically enables dual sim, as long as you install the correct rom SM935F
This the ROM for SM-935FD, maybe you need select your conutry provieded.-

Yes you can .Basically firmwares on sammobile for 935FD are just 935F firmwares and they can also be flashed on 935F. All these firmwares just detects for dual sim on boot and enables dual sim functions. So there is no difference between F and FD firmware they can be flashed on each other.

I have sm g935A with baseband version G935AUCU4CRE4 which i had flashed from odin months ago , i wanted to ask that can i flash g935U firmware in it and if so then which firmware i should flash it into in sammobile under the section of g935U firmware there are many firmware like USA , USA(T-MOBILE) , USA(AT&T) etc so which one should i flash it and which odin software should i use?

Yes you can flash G935U on G935A using the latest version of odin. you can select any firmware of G935U. they all are same

So what is the difference between USA , USA(AT&T) , USA(VERIZON)

None. It's what channel they got released that file on.

my s7edge original firmware is sm-g935a at&t 6.0 marshmallow. and then i flash it to sm-g935u 7.0 nougat..unlocked version via odin.. how can i root it now? im totally confuse.please help and give some tutorial how can i root it..thank you so much!
