[Guide] Unlock the bootloader

Tested on PLK-L01 from Germany.
Download the following file:
http://rootjunkysdl.com/getdownload.php?file=Huawei%20P8%20Lite/Huawei%20Product%20ID%20Generator.exe
Insert you IMEI1 and choose "HUAWEI Y300-0000" as model.
Copy the product ID.
On the following picture it is in german, but on the page it is described in english which information you have to enter.
Enter the information on following page: http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
You have to login via Facebook to get the code and it only works with facebook.
Every Facebook account can unlock two devices every six months.
You will get the unlock code marked red.

Not until now, but if you have something reliable to flash for rooting I will try it.
There was the guide for rooting the Honor 7, but I don't know if it is only for the chinese version?

Actually I've seen only that one, dunno if it would work. I'm like that my order is "waiting for stock" so other can try for me. XD

This method worked for me, so thanks to OP.
As fastboot oem get-bootinfo shows the Bootloader as unlocked.
I flashed a Chinese TWRP from the guide I found elsewhere here. It definitely boots into TWRP and everything works inside TWRP, albeit in Chinese.
Unfortunately, I'm now in a TWRP bootloop and can't get out of it.
I don't have a stock ROM/recovery to re-flash, so I'm hosed until one appears online.

Is it useful to try it without an recovery image available? Some other user tried it and is in a bootloop now without the possibility to recover.

I also slashed beta-supersu, using the Chinese twrp. I didn't reboot in between flashing twrp and supersu. Maybe I should have.

I get stuck on the step 10: after I fill everything out, it says "Sorry, you must use a phone account to submit this application."

I had this too. I needed to log in at the first step with a Facebook account. Basically Huawei want a record of who they've given codes to.

Yes. Though mine seemed even more complex. I couldn't boot into the bootloader that way.
What I found is that via some combination of volume/power keys and having power plugged in or not, I finally:
* did a boot into safe-mode
* discovered I was rooted
* used to to install ROM manager
* rebooted, out of safe mode
* ran ROM manager
* rebooted to bootloader
And then did what dukey said.

The .exe linked in the first post is not required to determine the product ID. It can be determined using universal code *#*#1357946#*#* (which returns an 8-digit code as expected)
Further, the .exe linked in the first post does not get a clean bill of health at VirusTotal - nothing definitive but not clean. Anyone planning to use it to generate an unlock code should use reasonable caution, sandbox the application or (better) run it on a disposable VM.

EVERY ONE OF US NEEDS TO LEARN command line, but it's always excellent to see amazing devs make an all in one like this for the guys that refuse to learn the hard (right) way, and for vets that aren't quite smart enough to make a tool like this themselves, like me, but appreciate the **** out of this little gem making my first custom Oreo ROM from stock rooted a breeze! Perhaps a little bold, but im still calling it, OG PIXEL XL NOT DEAD just when I was losing faith! Bravo!

Question about the install/uninstall apks feature: how does this work? Is it batch or one at a time?
EDIT: Also, to flash TWRP, do I need to be in bootloader mode and do I need to disable security on my phone before flashing? Will I lose root when flashing it? I'm using the latest Magisk.

I'm running purenexus 7.1 ROM and would like to go to Oreo stock but retain root. Is this the right tool for me?

You can't retain root after flashing a factory image. You can root the oreo factory image after you have flashed it

You can't directly flash a custom rom with this tool, you need a TWRP already flashed on your phone and you can use "Recovery Zip Flasher" ( I do not recommend it ), i think is better to put the rom on your phone and flash it from your phone.
This tool can't root directly your phone, but gives all you need to root it (Bootloader Unlock and the flash of a TWRP).
Pixel book? This tool is only available for Windows, maybe you can use it on pixelbook with a virtual machine, but i don't know how pixel book works

With the new update a i make a new recovery flasher option for devices with project treble. Test it and told me if it works

Bricked phone. Being a massive dumbass

Hey. I've bricked my Huawei P10 lite, literally just for the sole reason alone that I'm an idiot. I was in the process of relocking/unrooting when I did a massive choke - I've relocked the bootloader and IMMEDIATELY closed the goddamn tab. I haven't written the code down anywhere. When I've rebooted my phone, I discovered I have exactly 0 ways of doing a wipe, since the TWRP was obviously gone.
Hitools returns that the phone cannot be recovered due to not being supported.
Recovery? There isn't one. eRecovery always returns "failed to get.." yatta yatta yatta, It's not working.
The only thing currently reacting to my commands is fastboot. And, being the mr. obvious, I cannot push files onto the phone through fastboot to restore it by the full package, which was pretty much my only option at this point.
There aren't any replacement motherboards available for the P10 lite on eBay or pretty much anywhere else I could think of.
If there exists any good soul that can tell me if this is in any imaginable way reversible without getting a cracked screen phone and swapping the motherboards, PLEASE, PLEASE, do tell me.

Did u tryed to flash original firmware by the dload method?
You don need unlocked boatloader for that. I already save my p10 few times.

How can I flash the original firmware? I can't even flash a recovery. The bootloader is l o c k e d, and the only thing I can access is fastboot. How am I supposed to push the files into the phones in fastboot???

Man as your post title says, you really are a massive dumbass, if you at least try to help your self with the link i send you u will see that dload method dont need to boot into system, no need for recovery and no need for unlocked boatloader, only an sd card with a folder that have original firmware for your variant.
But as you rude keep your phone as a brick.

Is there any source code available? I don't see many people using something like this when there are device-specific alternatives that are open source as well.

This tool is not open source and it is device-specific for all Official supported devices.
I don't know others alternatives and I'm not interested in knowing them.
If you want to use it, ok, if you don't want to use it, it's always ok just don't bother others users

Then this app is mostly useless...
Don't write all in one, including boooader unlock if it does not unlock bootloader. The only way to unlock a Xiaomi Bootloader is via the official app. So either remove bootloader unlock or all in one from the title because it is misleading.

The name is that and will not be changed, this tool is not written only for xiaomi devices but also for others devices. Unfortunately Xiaomi devices needs to be unlocked through official method and this is why they have not been added until now. In all cases clicking on unlock you will be redirected to a good guide to unlock xiaomi devices.

Whatever it was designed for it does not work as intended with Xiaomi devices. So you should not have shared it with that title because it is not true. Without bootloader unlock you cannot do mainly anything and this app is not designed to unlock MI devices. It is my opinion that you shouldn't have shared it here under that name because it's very misleading. I've told you what you should do to make it not misunderstandable but you refuse to take my advice. See, whatever. You told your own opinion and I've told mine. Topic closed.

Again, i don't say what he said it's not true, i said that this is the name of the tool and that is the name of dedicated support threads. Unlock option is not available for xiaomi devices (except for Xiaomi Mi A1), in its place you will find the link to a guide to unlock the bootloader. Now if you want to tell me that a recovery on the tool is not working, or you want i add a new recovery to the list or you have problem with the tool, comment and i will try to help you, but do not keep saying unnecessary things.

I have a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (PRA-LX1) and I wanted to flash it up with a LineageOS unofficial ROM.
Now, I have a bit of experience in flashing phones back in the days (I flashed a SII, a SIII, a J1, Galaxy Core) and it was SO SIMPLE.
I'm confused right now, i was going to flash TWRP on my phone when i saw this unlock bootloader thing and i mean, how do I do that?
Apparently I have to pay 4€ for this DC unlocker (although, i checked their website and I don't know what to select to get this bootloader code, help me please), but i don't understand what should I do with that code once i get it.
After doing "something" i'll be able to flash TWRP on my phone and go ahead with the simple flashing Roms+gapps like always...
The point is:
- What is the use of that code? Where should i put it?
- Is is safe to install an unofficial version of TWRP (i haven't find any at all for my model tbh, unofficial neither, help me please)

Huawei stopped sending bootloader unlock codes which are necessary to have an unlocked bootloader. DC Unlocker can give you this code for credits. (Search for it in Google i think there are tutorials for this)
Once you got the BL unlock code, you need to reboot to fastboot then in cmd you need to type: fastboot oem unlock bl unlock code. This will wipe your data so do a backup. About TWRP, if i were you, i would use the latest whatever official/unofficial recovery which can be flashed in fastboot by command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (if i'm not mistaken)

I was going to buy some credits to unlock the bootloader, as i've read in another thread, it only requires 4€ (4 credits). Although, I don't kno which one of these two options is the correct one... Can anyone help me with that?

I don't know which one to use, as i didn't use that method.
EDIT: Just get 4 credits, if i'm not mistaken there's only one option to get the bl unlock code in the app and that's 4 credits.
I could only find one TWRP for this device: LINK

I just realized it doesn't matter, i just have to pay 4 credits and all the possible options will unlock once i pay ^^
So after i read the bootloader code, how should i use it?

This will wipe everything from your phone!
Reboot to fastboot mode then in cmd type: fastboot oem unlock bootloadercodehere

Unlocked it recently you go to buy account number credits 4 than go to server put in the username you chose and the code they send you go to unlocking show bootloader code than copy it
